Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in children's fine motor skills through playing with plasticine media in group A RA Biharul Ulum Ma'arif Ujung Labuang. The problem in this research is how to improve children's fine motor skills through playing with plasticine media. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which includes two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 3 meetings and each cycle is carried out sequentially consisting of 4 stages, namely ( 1).Planning, (2).Implementing actions, (3).Observation, (4).Reflection. The research subjects were 21 children consisting of 9 boys and 12 girls. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative, the increase in learning outcomes that occurred in cycle 1, which was held three times, resulted in Very Good Development Criteria (BSB) with a percentage of 0.19%. In cycle 2 there was an increase in fine motor skills through playing with plasticine in group A, there was an increase in the criteria for Very Well Developed (BSB) with a percentage of 1.76%. Using plasticine media can improve children's fine motor skills, therefore it is important for teachers to give examples to children and provide motivation to children, one of which is by giving children the opportunity to create free forms of plasticine play activities that can be shaped and processed according to their wishes and needs. child's imagination

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the role of parenting education in increasing parents' knowledge and awareness about early childhood care at PAUD Kober Ar Ridhoimas. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving interviews, observation and documentation to collect data. The main findings show that the parenting program implemented at PAUD Kober Ar Ridho is effective in increasing parents' awareness about educational collaboration. This program has succeeded in increasing communication between parents and teachers, parent participation in school activities, and support for learning at home. In addition, strengthening collaboration between parents and schools through parenting activities, effective communication, involvement as volunteers, and participation in decision making shows a positive impact on parental involvement in children's education. However, factors such as limited parental time, access to technology, and coordination between various parties pose challenges to the success of the program. Suggestions for improvement include increasing technological support, adapting program materials, facilitating parental involvement, and regular evaluation. This research provides valuable insight into ways to increase the effectiveness of parenting programs and educational collaboration at the PAUD level

Abstract

Stunting is still a serious public health challenge in Indonesia, with a prevalence reaching 30.8% in children under five according to Riskesdas 2018. In Baros District, the prevalence of stunting will reach 28.5% in 2023. This research aims to examine the role of Posyandu cadres in developing people's resilience parents who have stunted children in Baros District, considering their role is not yet optimal in the psychosocial aspects of parents. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, this research analyzes data through the stages of collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Posyandu cadres play an important role in developing parental resilience through strengthening belief systems, supporting organizational patterns, and facilitating communication processes. A holistic approach that integrates physical and psychosocial aspects has proven effective in treating stunting. In conclusion, the role of Posyandu cadres is very important in supporting families with stunted children, and ongoing efforts are needed to strengthen their capacity and integrate a holistic approach in stunting management programs. This research contributes to the development of effective intervention strategies to improve the quality of life of families with stunted children and supports efforts to reduce the prevalence of stunting

Abstract

This research was motivated by the large number of parents who hoped that children attending PAUD Al-Munawaroh would be able to read and write. Parents demand that teachers always teach reading and writing compared to activities that can train children's focus. Meanwhile, parents forget their role in providing reading and writing lessons at home. This research aims to analyze the level of parental involvement in developing early childhood reading and writing skills at PAUD Al-Munawaroh. This research uses quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which will be distributed to 40 samples. By distributing questionnaires online via Google Form and offline via distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive statistics by looking for data validation, highest score, lowest score, mean value and standard deviation. The place where the research was carried out was Al-Munawaroh PAUD which is located at Kp. Laban Ds. Laban RT/RW. 005/002 District. Tirtayasa District. Attack Prov. Banten and will be carried out from 21 June to 26 July 2024. The research results showed that parental involvement was high, namely 45% for 18 parents. This can be seen from the questionnaires distributed that parents at Al-Munawaroh PAUD often accompany, pay attention and even teach children about reading and writing skills

Abstract

This study is motivated by the results of observations of researchers in the field conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kragilan Kindergarten, Serang Regency. Problems were found in speaking ability, namely children have not been able to describe a word into a sentence and children have not been able to speak fluently. This is due to the use of inappropriate learning methods and a less pleasant learning atmosphere for children. The purpose of this study was to improve speaking skills in early childhood at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kragilan Kindergarten and to examine how word ball games can improve speaking skills in early childhood at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kragilan Kindergarten. The research subjects were group B children totaling 10 children, data were networked with observation documentation and analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of word ball games in group B children can run well according to plan, this is evidenced by the results of observations of teacher activities that are carried out in accordance with the steps in the application of word ball games and the results of observations show that children's abilities have also increased. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of word ball games can improve the speaking ability of group B children at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kragilan Kindergarten. Word ball games can be applied in schools to improve speaking skills in early childhood because word ball games are in accordance with the language skills of children aged 5 to 6 years

Abstract

This research focuses on the storytellyng method in improving the social-emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Citra Mandiri Islamic Kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to find out the social-emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years, to find out the benefits of the role-playing method in increasing the social-emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years and to find out whether this role-playing method is effective in increasing the social-emotional intelligence of children after 5-6 years at Citra Mandiri Islamic Kindergarten. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, intervuews and documentation. The results of tus study show that the role-playing method is proven to be effective in increasing the social-emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Citra Mandiri Islamic Kindergarten. It can be seen that from the 11 children, there are 3 BB children, 3 MB Children, 3 BSH children, and 2 BSB children. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role-playing method is quite effective in increasing the social-emotional intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Citra Mandiri Islamic Kindergarten with quite satisfactory results

Abstract

Independence is very important for early childhood, therefore to foster early childhood independence is greatly influenced by parenting patterns, while in Kober Al-Hikmah there are several working mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the parenting patterns applied by working mothers in shaping the independence of early childhood. The type of research used by researchers is a qualitative method using a case study approach. The subjects of this study were three working mothers who had early childhood children aged 5-6 years in Kober Al-Hikmah. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through several stages including 1. investigating data, 2. presenting data, and 3. Drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the parenting patterns applied by three working mothers in shaping the independence of early childhood by providing attention, providing examples and good behavior and discipline will shape the independence of early childhood

Abstract

The creativity of folding origami paper is an excellent activity to stimulate creativity and build children's thinking power. Realizing this, the author chose to try to teach several methods of folding origami paper to young children at PAUD Akhlak Mulia, Baros Serang District, Banten. The author deliberately held this activity considering the number of children who appear to have not had any activities that stimulate the development of children's creativity taught at the Akhlak Mulia PAUD. This research aims to find out whether origami paper folding activities can develop children's creativity in PAUD Akhlak Mulia, Baros Serang District, Banten. This type of research is qualitative research. The research subjects were children Group B, which consisted of 20 children, consisted of 9 boys and 11 girls. The data collection methods used were observation, documentation and interviews. The indicator of success that is set is if at least 85% of 20 children are successful in the paper folding game origami with very well developed criteria. The results of the research show that children's origami paper folding games can develop children's creativity and increase after action through origami. At first glance the child looks passive. The two children's footing is more enthusiastic and developing well. These learning gains show that the creativity of group B children with very good criteria has achieved indicators of success

Abstract

Current passive learning methods are insufficient to prepare students for an ever-evolving world. Therefore, teaching staff must strive to create a conducive learning environment for their students. Amid this rapid development, a learning method, often called Project Based Learning (PjBL), better known as Project Based Learning, has been created. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a learning approach that makes students the centre of learning. This article aims to analyse the benefits of Project Based Learning (PjBL) in early childhood, and its implementation in learning. The type of research used is qualitative with a literature review method. The results are that PjBL can increase creativity, a clean and healthy lifestyle, critical and creative thinking skills, visual-spatial intelligence, and students' social skills. PjBL can also help students develop collaboration skills, initiative and independence. PjBL provides direct experience in solving problems and finding useful solutions. Implementing PjBL in early childhood learning can be done through several stages and strategies, such as determining relevant topics, designing projects, preparing learning plans, implementing projects, reflection and evaluation. This article discusses several theories related to PjBL, such as constructivism, social learning theory, collaborative learning, problem-based learning, and project-based learning

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of early detection and treatment of dyslexia in early childhood at SPS TAAM NURUL HIDAYAH. Dyslexia is a disorder in reading ability that can hinder a child's academic achievement and social development, even though the child has normal intelligence. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with two teachers in class A and direct observation of the learning process, to obtain a comprehensive picture of the challenges faced in detecting and managing dyslexia. Data were analyzed thematically to identify the main patterns and themes that emerged in the detection and intervention practices implemented. The results showed that most teachers still rely on general observations without any systematic measurement tools to detect early signs of dyslexia. However, there were efforts to use multisensory learning methods and simple technological aids to support the learning process of children with reading difficulties. However, limitations in the provision of specific intervention materials and lack of in-depth training for educators are obstacles in optimizing the treatment of dyslexia. Therefore, increasing teacher awareness and competence in the field of early detection and treatment of dyslexia is needed so that the interventions carried out can support children's academic and social development to the fullest.
