Abstract

Language development is one aspect of early childhood development that must be stimulated. Children between three and four years old can speak, listen, read and write. Aspects of the development of other fields depend heavily on language development. The aim of this research is to use wayang puppets to improve oral language skills through storytelling activities. The subjects of the research were 10 children consisting of 4 girls and 6 boys. This research is a two-cycle classroom action research carried out in four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on research results, telling stories with wayang puppets can help children develop oral language skills. In cycle I, children's oral language abilities were 60.1%. Cycle I continues to Cycle II because it has not reached the KKM value ≥ 75%. After researchers carried out improvement activities in cycle II, the percentage of children with very well developed oral language skills grew by 91.7%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that storytelling activities using wayang puppets can improve the oral language skills.

Abstract

The acquisition of phonology is obtained from an early age and is the starting point for children to communicate. The development of phonology acquisition is very important to be carried out in order to detect language (speaking) disorders in children as well as to find out the extent of children's development. This study is related to finding out and analyzing the acquisition of language of 3-year-old children from the aspect of phonology, including the acquisition of vowels, consonants, and other factors that affect the acquisition of phonology. The object of the research was a 3-year-old child named Khalista. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with naturalistic data collection techniques used to collect data, namely recording conversations by interacting directly, listening, and conversing and then the data obtained in the form of recordings is transcribed into writing. Based on the results of the study, that the acquisition of phonology in the form of vowels has been well mastered, but phonemic pronunciation and decapitation of syllables are still found, so that eliminating letters or language sounds in spoken words will change the sound of language. Language acquisition in children is influenced by environmental, biological, and developmental age factors.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perception of parents in RA Mubarokah towards parenting in the digital era. The research method used is descriptive narrative, which allows researchers to explore the stories and experiences of parents related to the challenges and advantages of parenting in a digital context. In an era where information and communication technology is rapidly developing, parents often face dilemmas in balancing the use of gadgets and children's social interactions. Through in-depth interviews and observations, this study revealed that parents are aware of the importance of guiding children in using technology positively, but are also worried about negative impacts such as the influence of inappropriate content and gadget addiction. The results of the study show that parents in RA Mubarokah apply a more open and communicative parenting approach, where discussions about the use of technology become an important part of parenting. They strive to create healthy boundaries between digital media use and physical activity, and encourage children to engage in activities that support social and emotional development. This research provides insight into how parents' perceptions adapt to changing times and how they try to carry out their role as wise educators and caregivers in the midst of increasingly rapid technological currents. These findings are expected to be a reference for educators and parents in developing effective parenting strategies in the digital era, as well as encourage further discussions on the integration of technology in early childhood education.
