Abstract

This research is motivated by the suboptimal utilization of local resources, particularly lemongrass plants, as well as the limited life skills-based empowerment program at PKBM Al Manar Medan. This study aims to analyze the use of lemongrass plants as an ingredient in making herbal soap in developing students' life skills. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a field research type. The research subjects consisted of 10 informants including students, tutors, and PKBM managers who were selected based on their active involvement in training activities. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that training in making lemongrass-based herbal soap was able to improve students' practical skills, creativity, and participation in learning activities. In addition, the resulting product has economic value and has the potential to be developed as a local resource-based business. The implications of this study indicate that local potential-based training can be a community empowerment strategy that supports strengthening life skills, economic independence, and the development of more contextual and sustainable non-formal education programs

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of critical historical thinking in the perspective of the Qur'an through a study of QS. Ghāfir [40]: 21 and 82. The study uses a library research method with a thematic-comparative approach that integrates classical and contemporary interpretations. The main data sources come from the works of the commentaries of al-Ṭabarī, Ibn Kathīr, Sayyid Quṭb, and al-Sha‘rāwī, while supporting data are obtained from relevant scientific literature. The analysis technique is carried out through the stages of data collection, reduction, comparative interpretation, and conceptual interpretation to find the construction of critical historical thinking in the Qur'anic perspective. The results of the study show that QS. Ghāfir [40]: 21 and 82 position history not merely as a narrative of the past, but as a means of empirical observation, analytical reflection, and transformation of civilization. Classical interpretations emphasize the sunatullah aspect and the destruction of previous peoples as moral lessons, while contemporary interpretations develop educational, social, and civilizational dimensions in understanding history. The key findings of this study demonstrate that Qur'anic critical historical thinking shapes critical, reflective, and progressive mindsets for Muslims in interpreting social and civilizational dynamics. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of integrating Qur'anic values ​​into history education and developing an awareness of Islamic civilization that is adaptive to the challenges of modernity.

Abstract

Digital communication transformation has changed the way philanthropic organizations build relationships with stakeholders. Organizations can no longer rely solely on institutional reputation and formal publications, but are required to present transparent, interactive, and long-term relationship-oriented communication to build public trust. This study aims to analyze the digital relational communication model of CT ARSA Foundation as a mechanism for building stakeholder trust in the era of digital philanthropy. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive-critical literature review method through the analysis of scientific journals, academic books, and previous studies relevant to organizational communication, stakeholder trust, nonprofit communication, and digital engagement. The findings indicate that CT ARSA Foundation’s digital relational communication model is constructed through three main components: digital information transparency that builds rational trust, humanitarian storytelling that develops emotional trust, and participatory interaction that encourages stakeholder engagement. The integration of these three components forms a trust-based communication mechanism that strengthens social legitimacy, public loyalty, and organizational sustainability. This study confirms that digital relational communication is a strategic element for philanthropic organizations in establishing sustainable relationships with stakeholders in the digital era.

Abstract

Fine motor development is an essential aspect of preschool children's readiness for learning. In the digital era, reduced engagement in manipulative play activities due to excessive gadget use may hinder children's fine motor development. This study aimed to determine the effect of collage play therapy on the fine motor development of preschool-aged children. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 20 respondents, including 10 children in the intervention group and 10 children in the control group, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann–Whitney tests. The results showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating that collage play therapy had a significant effect on improving children's fine motor development. Collage play therapy proved to be an effective, simple, and enjoyable stimulation method for supporting preschool children's development. The limitations of this study include the relatively small sample size and the implementation of the study in a single location. Future research is recommended to involve a larger sample and a wider geographical coverage to enhance the generalizability of the findings

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of engagement and commitment on customer loyalty, with emotional engagement as a mediating variable among Haidilao Hotpot PTC Surabaya customers. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 209 respondents who had visited and made purchases at Haidilao Hotpot PTC Surabaya. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of customers who had consumption experience at the restaurant. The research instrument was constructed using a five-point Likert scale to measure the variables of engagement, commitment, emotional engagement, and customer loyalty. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS application. The results showed that commitment had a positive and significant effect on emotional engagement and customer loyalty. Emotional engagement was also shown to significantly increase customer loyalty. Conversely, engagement showed a significant negative effect on customer loyalty and had no significant effect on emotional engagement. In addition, emotional engagement successfully mediated the relationship between commitment and customer loyalty, but was unable to mediate the relationship between engagement and customer loyalty. These findings emphasize the importance of relational and emotional aspects in building customer loyalty in the restaurant industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Maqasid Syariah principles in Pure Sharia Dual Purpose Life Insurance products based on the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 155/DSN-MUI/V/2023. The study uses a qualitative approach with an analytical-descriptive research type. The research data consists of primary data in the form of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 155/2023 and documents on sharia insurance product provisions, while secondary data are obtained from books, scientific journals, and literature related to maqasid sharia and sharia insurance. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques by examining the suitability of the contract and product management mechanisms to the maqasid sharia principles. The results of the study indicate that the Ta'awun Hibah contract reflects the values ​​of solidarity and mutual assistance between participants, while the Wakalah bil Ujrah and Mudharabah contracts support the principles of transparency and efficiency in fund management. The management of tabarru' funds, the restriction of their use for participant protection, and the allocation of underwriting surplus as a reserve fund demonstrate the application of the principles of hifzh al-mal (asset protection) and the sustainability of Islamic finance. This research confirms that the Pure Sharia Dual Purpose Life Insurance product not only provides financial protection but also supports the values ​​of justice, social welfare, and Sharia-based economic sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the role of human resource management (HRM) in improving employee productivity in the digital era. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by analyzing 15 relevant scientific articles published between 2020 and 2026, obtained from Google Scholar and SINTA databases. The findings indicate that HRM plays a strategic role as a strategic enabler in integrating digital technology with employee competency development. Practices such as e-recruitment, e-learning, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and data-driven HR have been proven to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall employee performance. However, the implementation of digital HRM still faces several challenges, including digital skill gaps, resistance to change, and limited organizational and technological readiness. Furthermore, the effectiveness of HRM is influenced by factors such as digital competence, adaptive organizational culture, transformational leadership, and the level of technology adoption. This study concludes that improving employee productivity in the digital era depends not only on the use of technology but also on the organization’s ability to manage human resources strategically and holistically. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 15 artikel ilmiah yang relevan dari tahun 2020–2026 yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dan SINTA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen SDM memiliki peran strategis sebagai strategic enabler dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dengan pengembangan kompetensi karyawan. Praktik seperti e-recruitment, e-learning, Human Resource Information System (HRIS), serta data-driven HR terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan kualitas kinerja karyawan. Namun, implementasi digitalisasi SDM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kesenjangan kompetensi digital, resistensi terhadap perubahan, serta keterbatasan kesiapan organisasi dan infrastruktur teknologi. Selain itu, efektivitas manajemen SDM dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti kompetensi digital, budaya organisasi yang adaptif, kepemimpinan transformasional, dan tingkat adopsi teknologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan produktivitas karyawan di era digital tidak hanya bergantung pada penggunaan teknologi, tetapi juga pada kemampuan organisasi dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia secara strategis dan holistik. Abstract

The public service information system at the Tulungagung Police Resort still faces various obstacles, such as an unresponsive interface, difficulty in accurately determining the location of incidents, and limited information services outside operating hours. This study aims to design and develop a web-based public service information system by applying the User Centered Design (UCD) method to improve user experience. The study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with UCD stages that include user needs analysis, interface design, system development, and usability evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation involving Tulungagung Police Resort service users. The developed system integrates the Geospatial Visualization feature to accurately map complaint locations and the Artificial Intelligence Chatbot feature as an automatic 24-hour information service. Data analysis was conducted descriptively quantitatively using Black Box Testing to test system functionality and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the level of usability. The results showed that all system functions ran well with a validity level of 100%, and the usability value increased from 28.5 (Not Acceptable) to 78.75 (Acceptable–Good). These findings show that the system is capable of increasing the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of public services more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of technopreneurship from the perspectives of entrepreneurship education and the development of high-quality human resources (HR) in the digital era. The study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method through descriptive analysis of relevant scientific articles. Data were obtained from Google Scholar and other credible sources published between 1964 and 2026. Of the 50 identified articles, 39 were selected through inclusion and exclusion criteria and used as the basis for analysis. The data analysis technique applied was descriptive qualitative analysis by organizing, categorizing, and systematically interpreting the findings. The results indicate that technopreneurship plays a strategic role in encouraging innovation, improving business efficiency, and expanding economic access, particularly in the MSME sector. Technology-based entrepreneurship education has proven to be an important factor in developing adaptive and innovative technopreneur competencies. Case studies of Gojek, Tokopedia, and Shopee demonstrate that the utilization of digital technology can create significant economic and social value. However, the development of technopreneurship still faces challenges, including low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and gaps between education and industry needs. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening curricula, developing innovation ecosystems, and improving HR capacity as strategic steps to support the sustainability of technopreneurship

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the increasing need to integrate entrepreneurial competencies with technology utilization in responding to the dynamics of the digital economy. This study aims to comprehensively examine the roles of entrepreneurship education, the development of high-quality human resources, digital innovation, and sustainability in supporting the technopreneurship ecosystem. The study employed a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, using data sources from various scientific articles obtained through Google Scholar and other credible websites published between 1964 and 2026. From an initial search of 50 articles, a rigorous selection process resulted in 33 relevant articles used as the basis for analysis. The data analysis technique applied was descriptive qualitative analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education plays an important role in shaping innovative mindsets, the development of superior human resources enhances adaptive capacity and productivity, digital innovation accelerates business model transformation, and sustainability ensures a balance between economic growth and social-environmental responsibility. The integration of these four aspects has proven to create synergy that strengthens the competitiveness of technopreneurship. These findings highlight the importance of a holistic approach in developing a technology-based entrepreneurial ecosystem that is more adaptive, innovative, and sustainable.
