Abstract

This study examines the regulation of Forest Area Borrow-to-Use Permits (IPPKH) in mining activities, which have been transformed into Forest Area Use Approval (PPKH) following the enactment of Law Number 3 of 2020 and Law Number 6 of 2023. The objective of this research is to analyze the juridical framework of IPPKH/PPKH, identify issues related to overlapping permits, and formulate more effective and sustainable solutions. This study employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches, analyzed qualitatively through library research. The results indicate that although the regulatory framework governing IPPKH/PPKH is relatively comprehensive, there are still inconsistencies among regulations, weak inter-agency coordination, and limitations in the implementation of the risk-based licensing system through Online Single Submission (OSS). Furthermore, overlapping permits are influenced by the lack of integrated spatial data and institutional capacity. This study concludes that regulatory harmonization, strengthened supervision, and optimized technological integration in the licensing system are necessary to achieve more effective forest area governance. These findings are significant as a basis for improving policies in sustainable natural resource management oriented toward public welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction, relevance, effectiveness, and ideal reconstruction of criminal sanctions for cybercrime from the perspective of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code. The method used is a normative juridical approach supported by limited empirical data through literature studies, analysis of laws and regulations, and secondary data related to cybercrime trends in Indonesia. The results indicate that the new Criminal Code has adopted a modern criminal justice system through a double-track system, but does not specifically regulate cybercrime, thus remaining dependent on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. The effectiveness of criminal sanctions is deemed suboptimal due to limited law enforcement capacity, the complexity of cybercrime, and the imbalance between repressive and preventive approaches. Therefore, a more adaptive reconstruction of criminal sanctions is needed through the integration of technology-based repressive, rehabilitative, and restorative approaches. These findings emphasize the importance of comprehensive criminal law reform to increase the effectiveness of cybercrime prevention in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbots in customer service at a travel agency and its implications for operational efficiency, human-AI work patterns, and organizational adaptability. The study employed a qualitative approach with a single-case study design, collecting data through in-depth interviews with relevant staff, observing customer service processes, and analyzing thematically obtained data. The results indicate that the use of chatbots improves operational efficiency by automating routine tasks and reducing staff workload. Another key finding is the development of a hybrid service model, where chatbots handle basic questions while human staff focus on complex services that require judgment and empathy. However, the chatbot's limitations in understanding conversational context and emotional aspects remain a challenge. The implications of this study emphasize that the success of implementing AI in customer service is determined not only by technology but also by the organization's readiness to develop digital competencies and continuously update systems, so that human and AI collaboration can run optimally.

Abstract

The problem of suboptimal plastic waste management and limited literacy facilities are environmental and educational challenges faced by the Ranggi Literacy Studio. This study aims to describe the implementation of ecobrick training as an effort to increase awareness of plastic waste management among children while supporting literacy activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects consisted of 20 children, with 3 informants selected purposively: 2 participants and 1 studio manager. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that ecobrick training was implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and utilization. This activity was able to increase children's understanding and awareness of plastic waste management and encourage behavioral changes to be more environmentally conscious. In addition, ecobrick products were used as bookshelves that contributed to increasing the tidiness and comfort of literacy activities. Thus, ecobrick training can be an innovative alternative in participatory-based environmental education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms and classifications of ecolexicons, analyze the ecological dimensions embedded within them, and reveal the local wisdom values represented in the Lewak Tapo ritual. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with the ecolinguistic model of Bang and Door as the analytical framework. The data consist of ritual utterances obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and note-taking techniques involving molan (traditional ritual leaders) and customary elders in Witihama Village. Data analysis was conducted through several stages, namely data reduction, ecolexicon classification, descriptive-interpretative data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the ecological dimensions found in the ritual utterances. The findings show that the ecolexicons in the Lewak Tapo ritual reflect three ecological dimensions: ideological, sociological, and biological dimensions. These dimensions are interconnected in constructing a system of meaning that represents local wisdom values, such as respect for life, mutual cooperation, religiosity, and obedience to customary norms. This study confirms that language in traditional rituals functions not only as a means of communication but also as a medium for preserving ecological knowledge and the cultural identity of the community. This study is limited by the small number of informants and the focus on only one customary area, which may not fully represent the diversity of ritual practices within the Lamaholot community. Therefore, future studies are recommended to investigate similar traditional rituals in other cultural regions using interdisciplinary approaches in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between language, ecology, and local culture.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing use of online food delivery services, which is accompanied by indications of declining user loyalty toward GoFood. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of customer experience and perceived ease of use on customer loyalty, with satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal research design conducted in Surabaya, involving 145 GoFood users selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that customer experience and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, which in turn has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, satisfaction is proven to mediate the relationship between both variables and customer loyalty, while perceived ease of use does not have a direct effect on customer loyalty. In conclusion, customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in building user loyalty. Therefore, companies are recommended to enhance user experience and ease of use to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty toward GoFood. This study is still limited to the use of quantitative methods and only focuses on one online food delivery platform, so further research is recommended to use a mixed methods approach and involve several digital service platforms to obtain a comprehensive understanding of user loyalty behavior.

Abstract

The Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (P4GN) program through the BERSINAR Village in Tulungagung Regency still faces problems in the dissemination of information that tends to be conventional, unintegrated, and difficult for the public to access widely. This condition has an impact on the low reach of information, minimal public understanding, and limited public participation in supporting the P4GN program. This study aims to develop a BERSINAR Village information system website that functions as an integrated medium for delivering program information, a means of policy socialization, and public education regarding the dangers of narcotics and prevention efforts. The website development was carried out using the Extreme Programming (XP) method which includes the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing, with an emphasis on user involvement in each stage of development. System requirements data were collected through observation and interviews with relevant parties, then analyzed to determine the system's features and functionality. System testing was carried out using black box testing to ensure all functions run according to requirements. The results of the study indicate that the developed website is able to support more effective information delivery and has the potential to increase community participation in the BERSINAR Village program.

Abstract

Bali is an international tourism destination known for its natural beauty, culture, and friendly people. However, the increase in foreign tourist visits has also given rise to various socio-cultural issues, particularly tourist behavior that does not conform to local norms. This study aims to analyze the forms of deviant foreign tourist behavior and their impact on the socio-cultural dynamics of Balinese society, particularly in the Canggu area. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving local communities, traditional leaders, tourism industry players, and the Bali Tourism Office, selected purposively. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and thematic drawing of conclusions. The results show that foreign tourist behavior such as wearing inappropriate clothing in sacred areas, disrespecting traditional rituals, and violating social norms create social tensions and concerns about shifting local cultural values. These findings emphasize the importance of cultural education, tourist supervision, and collaboration between local governments, tourism actors, and indigenous communities to maintain cultural sustainability and social harmony in Bali.
