Abstract

Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) is an infectious disease in cattle that can cause reproductive disorders, decreased productivity, and economic losses. The success of BVD examination is greatly influenced by the quality of blood serum used as a laboratory test material. This study aims to describe the blood collection technique and serum separation procedure for cattle and evaluate the quality of the resulting serum to support BVD laboratory examination. Sampling was conducted in July–August 2025 in seven districts in Bengkulu Province through the jugular vein, auricular vein, and coccygeal vein. Blood samples were collected using syringes or vacuum tubes without anticoagulant, then allowed to clot for 24 hours in an inclined position before the serum was separated and centrifuged at 3500 rpm for 10 minutes. The obtained serum was stored at −20°C until inactivated at 56°C for 30 minutes. The results showed that the serum collection and separation procedures produced clear serum, free from hemolysis, and suitable for use as a BVD laboratory test material. Thus, proper implementation of serum collection, separation, storage, and inactivation procedures plays an important role in ensuring sample quality and supporting the reliability of BVD examination

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Makmur Orient Jaya. The study used a quantitative approach with a causal design. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire 1–5 to 100 employees selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that work motivation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction is proven to partially mediate the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. The R² value of 0.538 indicates that work motivation, work environment, and job satisfaction are able to explain 53.8% of the variation in employee performance. This finding confirms that improving employee performance depends not only on strengthening motivation and creating a conducive work environment, but also on increasing job satisfaction as an important mechanism that strengthens the influence of both factors on employee performance.

Abstract

Family food security in rural areas depends, in part, on the availability of animal protein sources from raising free-range chickens. However, simple cages that do not implement animal welfare principles can limit livestock productivity. This study aims to develop and evaluate the Happy Chicken Coop innovation based on animal welfare through community empowerment in Randuagung Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model and involved 25 Superior Free-Range Chicken Farmers (KUB) through saturated sampling. In the Development stage, the product was validated by livestock and construction experts and tested. The Implementation stage was carried out through the application of the cage by the community and measurement of user responses, while the Evaluation stage assessed community acceptance based on Rogers' innovation diffusion indicators. Data were collected using a 1–4 Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed a need for innovation of 76.51%, validation by livestock experts of 83.33%, construction experts of 87.50%, and product trials of 90%. User response reached 78.75%, while community acceptance was 90.45%. The findings indicate that the Happy Chicken Coop is feasible and acceptable as an appropriate technology based on community empowerment that has the potential to support family food security in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) is a government program to provide legal certainty and protection for community land rights. However, PTSL data management in Bukur Village is still carried out manually using physical documents and Microsoft Excel, potentially causing process delays, data duplication, and file loss. This study aims to develop a website-based PTSL information system to improve the efficiency and transparency of land data management. The study used the Extreme Programming (XP) software development method, which includes iterative planning, design, coding, and testing stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and Leaflet-based Geographic Information System (GIS) integration to visualize land locations. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing on 15 test scenarios that included authentication, file management, document upload, status monitoring, data export, and map visualization. The test results showed that all 15 scenarios were successfully executed according to the expected output with a 100% success rate. The developed system is able to integrate applicant and file data management, support application status monitoring, and present land location information visually. Thus, this website-based PTSL information system can be a solution to increase efficiency, reduce the risk of data management errors, and facilitate access to land information for admins and the public.

Abstract

The performance of a Large Language Model (LLM)-based Text-to-SQL system is heavily influenced by the quality of the user-supplied Natural Language Queries (NLQs). Ill-formed NLQs, such as incomplete, ambiguous, or inconsistent information within the database schema, can generate syntactically valid but semantically incorrect SQL queries. This study aims to develop a rule-based ill-formed NLQ detection system as a pre-processing stage in an Indonesian Text-to-SQL pipeline. The system is built using the Experta library with 15 IF-THEN rules that identify six categories of ill-formed NLQs: insufficient information, multiple interpretations, incomplete conditions, illogical, out-of-schema reference, and unsafe/non-SELECT. After rule-only filtering, a LLaMA 3.2 3B Instruct-based validator is optionally used to examine cases requiring deeper semantic understanding. An evaluation of 202 Indonesian NLQs showed that the Rule-only mode achieved 89.60% Recall, 78.87% Precision, 83.90% F1-Score, and 78.71% Accuracy. False positives were primarily influenced by overly strict rules, while false negatives were dominated by semantic ambiguity. These results demonstrate that the rule-based approach provides a consistent and transparent initial filtering mechanism and can be combined with an LLM-based validator to handle cases requiring more complex semantic interpretation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, brand image, self-image, and word of mouth on purchasing decisions of Wardah products among multigenerational consumers in Boja District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who are evenly divided into three generational groups, namely Generation X, Millennial Generation, and Generation Z, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and One-Way ANOVA tests with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.195; p < 0.001), brand image has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.199; p = 0.001), self-image has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.278; p < 0.001), and word of mouth has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.145; p < 0.001). Self-image is the variable that has the most dominant influence. Simultaneously, the four independent variables were able to explain 55.4% of the variation in purchasing decisions (R² = 0.554). In addition, the results of the One-Way ANOVA test showed no significant difference in the influence of the four variables on purchasing decisions among Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. This finding indicates that generational characteristics are not the main differentiating factor in Wardah product purchasing behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Traditional Games Community (PETRA) administrators in preserving local wisdom through bamboo stilt games for children in Tanjung Rejo Village. Preserving traditional games is important because children's interest in local culture-based games is decreasing due to technological developments and the dominance of digital games. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects consisted of two PETRA Community administrators and one community member who participated in the bamboo stilt game activities. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the PETRA Community administrators acted as guides, educators, and friends in implementing bamboo stilt games. As guides, the administrators provided direction, assistance, assistance, and motivation to the children. As educators, the administrators introduced bamboo stilts as a cultural heritage while instilling local wisdom values, such as discipline, cooperation, responsibility, courage, sportsmanship, and mutual respect. As friends, the administrators built close relationships so that children felt comfortable participating in the activities. The research findings confirm that community-based communities contribute to the preservation of local wisdom through the inheritance of traditional games that not only maintain cultural heritage but also strengthen children's character formation.

Abstract

The development of mobile banking in developing countries has prompted an increasing number of studies on the factors influencing its adoption. However, research findings are still scattered across various theoretical models and contexts, resulting in a lack of a comprehensive synthesis of dominant themes, development trends, and future research directions. This study aims to analyze the development of mobile banking adoption studies in developing countries through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis. The study used the PRISMA 2020 guidelines for Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2022 and 2025. Inclusion criteria included English-language articles discussing mobile banking adoption in developing countries, while proceedings, book chapters, duplicate articles, and irrelevant publications were excluded from the analysis. Of the 147 identified articles, 58 met the criteria and were analyzed using VOSviewer. The results showed that dominant themes included the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), UTAUT, trust, risk perception, customer satisfaction, and adoption behavior. The analysis also identified a shift towards financial inclusion, fintech integration, digital transformation, service quality, and customer loyalty. These findings provide a current synthesis of mobile banking research developments and serve as a basis for developing a research agenda on digital financial ecosystems in developing countries.

Abstract

The increasing consolidation, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A) in the banking industry has driven the rapid growth of scientific publications, but research developments are still fragmented, so a bibliometric study is needed to map themes, trends, collaborations, and research opportunities. This study aims to map the development of research on banking M&A through bibliometric analysis. Data were obtained from the Scopus database and selected using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, resulting in 520 publications published during the 2022–2026 period. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer through publication trend analysis, co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The results show that banking M&A research is dominated by the themes of financial performance, operational efficiency, bank consolidation, and financial stability, while fintech, market structure, market concentration, and banking supervision are emerging as the latest research focuses. On the other hand, the transformation of human capital, organizational culture, leadership, change management, and post-merger organizational integration remains relatively underexplored. This study provides a comprehensive map of the intellectual structure and development of banking M&A research and proposes a future research agenda that emphasizes the integration of organizational, technological, and human resource aspects to support the success of banking mergers.
