Abstract

This community service research is about the creation of Taman Kita “Taman Dusun Sudimampir” as an artificial tourism to utilize local potential implemented in Kaliangsana Village, Kalijati District, Subang Regency. This artificial tourism destination is one of the incidental activity programs carried out by the Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Study Program, University of Subang together with the community in Sudimampir Hamlet in an effort to increase environmental attractiveness while encouraging the economic growth of the local community. Sudimampir Hamlet is located in Kaliangsana Village and has beautiful and strategic natural conditions, but has not been optimally managed as a tourist destination. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an area in the form of a thematic park that can function as a means of recreation, education, and community empowerment. The method of implementation of this research activity includes the stages of planning, preparation, implementation, and management of the park. The concept of the park is educational and family-friendly nature tourism by providing various facilities such as flower gardens, children's play areas, photo spots, gazebos, and educational gardens. In addition, this park also involves active community participation in the management and development of micro-enterprises. The expected results of the development of this park are the creation of comfortable green open spaces, increased tourist visits, and the opening of new business opportunities for the surrounding community. Thus, Sudimampir Hamlet Park is expected to become a sustainable tourist attraction and provide social, economic, and environmental benefits.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out as a response to the high penetration of social media use among teenagers, especially SMAN 1 Ciruas students, which has the potential to have a negative impact if not balanced with adequate behavioral governance and internal regulations. The phenomena identified include gadget addiction (nomophobia), cyberbullying, the spread of fake news (hoax), decreased study concentration, and the risk of digital privacy violations in the form of identity theft. The main purpose of this activity is to provide education, socialization, and initiate a wise, healthy, and safe social media governance policy framework to build the resilience of the digital ecosystem in partner schools. The implementation method consists of two stages, namely preparation through observation and coordination with the school, as well as the implementation of participatory educational-seminars that integrate legal materials of the ITE Law and digital ethics with a focused group discussion forum based on case studies. The target audience is 75 students in grades X and XI as class representatives and administrators of the organization. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding of social media ethics, the ability to think critically about cyber risks, and the commitment to privacy protection which was realized through the "Student Digital Integrity Pact". The conclusion emphasizes that planned educational interventions combined with school discipline policies are effective in minimizing cyber risks and optimizing the function of social media as a constructive digital learning instrument.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting national economic growth; however, many still face challenges in financial management practices. One of the primary issues identified in the Second Personal Computer (PC) Spare Parts business in Jambi City is the lack of systematic financial transaction recording, ineffective cash flow management, inadequate preparation of basic financial statements, and limited utilization of digital financial applications. These conditions make it difficult for business owners to monitor financial performance, evaluate business activities, and make appropriate managerial decisions. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of business owners in implementing effective and efficient financial management through both manual and digital financial recording practices. The implementation methods included preliminary observation, needs assessment, training sessions, practical exercises, mentoring, and interactive discussions. The training materials covered the fundamentals of financial management, transaction recording, cash flow management, preparation of basic financial statements, and the use of digital financial applications to support business operations. Program evaluation was conducted by observing participants' competencies before and after the activities. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants' understanding of systematic financial management, their ability to record financial transactions and prepare basic financial reports, as well as increased awareness of utilizing digital financial applications to improve business performance. This program is expected to strengthen financial governance, improve the quality of managerial decision-making, and support the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs.

Abstract

Cigarette factory workers, particularly those in the rolling department, face a high risk of musculoskeletal disorders such as Trigger Finger (stenosing tenosynovitis) due to repetitive and static hand movements. A lack of knowledge regarding ergonomics and early prevention creates a significant risk of reduced work productivity. This community service initiative aimed to implement community-based physiotherapy education and self-exercise training to prevent Trigger Finger among cigarette factory workers in Kedungkandang. A descriptive method utilizing a Community-Based Participatory Research approach was employed. The study involved 30 female workers selected via purposive sampling. Interventions included health education and training on tendon gliding exercises and hand stretching. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge levels, alongside observation sheets to assess practical exercise skills. Results indicated that the majority of respondents (73.3%) had more than five years of work experience. A significant improvement in knowledge levels was observed; prior to the education session, 53.4% of respondents fell into the "poor" category, whereas post-education, 83.3% reached the "good" category. Additionally, 80% of respondents were able to independently perform tendon gliding exercises using the correct technique. In conclusion, the community physiotherapy program effectively improved the workers' knowledge and skills regarding the prevention of hand disorders. It is recommended that factory management implement routine stretching breaks during work hours to sustainably maintain the workers' musculoskeletal health.

Abstract

This community service initiative was motivated by logistical administration management issues faced by the partner, Darmayu Hospital. A situational analysis revealed that the partner still relied on conventional inventory recording methods, which were prone to data loss and reduced service efficiency. The practical solution offered by the service team involved technology transfer through outreach and guidance on the use of website-based inventory information systems-specifically SIPITRS and SIMANTIK. The implementation process comprised three participatory stages: (1) identifying partner needs, (2) training and simulation (knowledge transfer), and (3) technical assistance and evaluation. Darmayu Hospital’s administrative and logistics staff participated in the program. The results demonstrated the partner's high level of enthusiasm for adopting the new technology. Significant improvements in capacity and digital literacy were observed, evidenced by a sharp increase in the understanding of system operations—rising from an average of 52.5% prior to training to 88.7% afterward. The initiative concluded that the assistance program successfully empowered staff to transition to digital systems, directly enhancing logistical administration efficiency and improving managerial governance at Darmayu Hospital.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) is one of theTridharma of Higher Education. This PKM is proposed to carry out activities that are socializing interactive-based mathematics learning media. This activity is proposed with the consideration that students still lack knowledge about interactive-based learning media methods in mathematics lessons. Therefore, with this PKM activity, it can make it easier for students to face mathematics learning. The coaching, socialization and education activities that have been carried out at SD Negeri 02 Indarung have run smoothly in accordance with the desired targets and outcomes. Based on the results of the socialization of mathematics learning through interactive-based learning media in the Mathematics Subject of Grade V Students of SD Negeri 02 Indarung Padang, it provides benefits, namely it can eliminate student boredom in learning mathematics, providing variety at SD Negeri 02 Indarung Padang. This means that there is a significant influence on the socialization of mathematics learning through the Socialization of Interactive-Based Mathematics Learning Media Topic of Class V SD Negeri 02 Indarung

Abstract

Financial literacy is an essential competency that should be developed from an early age to enable students to manage their personal finances wisely amid the growing use of digital financial transactions. However, many high school students are still unfamiliar with budgeting and systematic personal financial recordkeeping. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to improve students' understanding of financial literacy and simple personal financial recordkeeping through basic accounting training. The activity was conducted face-to-face at SMA Katolik Ricci 1 Jakarta involving 15 students using interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, practical exercises on personal financial recording, and learning evaluations through Kahoot-based pre-tests and post-tests. The results demonstrated an improvement in students' understanding of the learning materials. Based on the post-test results, 3 students (20%) achieved 100% accuracy, 6 students (40%) scored 83%, 3 students (20%) obtained 67%, and 3 students (20%) achieved 50% correct answers. Overall, 80% of participants attained at least 67% accuracy, indicating that most students successfully understood the concepts of financial literacy, personal budgeting, and simple income and expenditure recording. In addition, students actively participated in discussions and evaluation sessions, creating a more engaging learning environment. Therefore, this training effectively enhanced students' financial literacy and basic accounting knowledge while fostering responsible financial management behavior, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Abstract

Riding safety is a key issue in efforts to reduce traffic accident rates. This issue is evident among the residents of Kaliurip Village, where the majority rely on motorcycles as their primary mode of transportation. Observations and coordination with the village government revealed that residents still lack sufficient understanding regarding the importance of periodic vehicle inspections, the use of safety gear, and the practice of orderly traffic behavior. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) initiative aims to enhance residents' knowledge, awareness, and behavior through a "Safety riding" seminar combined with free vehicle servicing, serving as a form of community empowerment rooted in vocational education. The implementation utilized an Active Community Participation (PAM) approach, engaging residents as active partners throughout the process from problem identification, planning, and execution to program evaluation. Activities included field observations, coordination with the village government, focus group discussions, outreach, safety riding seminars, vehicle inspection demonstrations, free vehicle servicing, and monitoring and evaluation. A participatory approach was selected to boost community engagement and ensure the program's sustainability. The results indicate a highly positive response from the community toward the entire program series. The Safety riding seminar improved residents' understanding of the importance of safety gear, traffic regulation compliance, safe riding techniques, and pre-ride vehicle checks. The free vehicle servicing provided direct benefits through vehicle condition assessments and technical consultations on maintenance. The involvement of the village government, community leaders, students, and lecturers demonstrated the formation of a partnership that supports the program's sustainability.
