Abstract

The research carried out aims to produce a numeracy literacy-based assessment instrument in grade IV elementary school material that has been tested for validity and reliability, and has gone through systematic instrument analysis, namely by using a content validation test using the Lawse formula to calculate the Content Validity Ratio (CVR), empirical validity test using product moment correlation and reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha. This type of research is development research using the Plom model, the data collection method used is validation in the form of questionnaires and numeracy literacy tests. The research results obtained are: 1) the results of the validation of the questionnaire by CVR calculation experts stated that all the instruments created had a value of 1, which means they are valid; 2) the numeracy literacy-based assessment instrument developed is a reliable instrument with a reliability value of 0.5689 ≥ 0.413 (r_count ≥r_tabel); 3) from the student test results it was stated that 6 instruments were valid, namely instruments numbered 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9. So the instrument developed produced an instrument that was suitable for use to measure student abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to solve the population dynamics model using the Euler method, where the model is a nonlinear differential equation. The research methods used are literature study and simulation methods. In theory, the Euler Method is a numerical method that is often used in solving initial value problems. The Euler method is obtained by decomposing a function into a Taylor series up to two initial terms. This method has an accuracy of one.

Abstract

Ordinary differential equations (PDB) play an important role in various fields of science, from physics to biology, to model dynamic phenomena. Numerical methods such as Runge-Kutta are often used to solve GDP when an exact solution cannot be obtained. This research focuses on modifying the fifth order Runge-Kutta method to increase accuracy and efficiency in solving certain GDPs. The performance evaluation includes error and computation time analysis to assess the improvements provided by this modification. Experimental results show that the modified method is able to reduce errors significantly without a significant increase in computing time. This study contributes to the development of more accurate numerical methods for solving PDB, especially for applications with high precision requirements. The use of this modified fifth-order Runge-Kutta method can be a better choice for various complex PDB problems that require a higher level of accuracy without significant compromise in performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted on grade 2B students of SDI Harekakae. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) which refers to Kurt Lewin's model. The main concept of Lewin's Action Research Model consists of four components, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and documentation, and the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of observations in cycle I, it shows that the average of only 10.25 students (51.25%) were active in the teaching and learning process. This indicates that students' activeness in learning is still lacking. However, the results of observations in cycle II show that on average almost all students were active in the teaching and learning process, increasing to 18.75 students (93.75%). In accordance with the learning outcomes of cycle I, it can be seen that the students' learning outcomes in cycle I have not yet reached or have not been able to meet the minimum completeness criteria determined, which is 80%. After making improvements in cycle II, there is a very significant increase where from the learning outcomes in cycle I only 11 students (55%) were complete, then in cycle II students who were complete according to the Minimum Completeness Criteria as many as 18 students (90%). This indicates that students who have completed the learning in cycle II have exceeded or answered the success indicator of 90% of the predetermined success indicator is 80%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research: (1) to analyze the influence of student learning styles on the learning achievement of class VII students at Halioan State Middle School. (2) determine learning styles on the learning achievement of class VII students at Halioan State Middle School. The method used is a quantitative method. The research results showed that 35.2% of students had a visual learning style, 55.2% of students had an auditory learning style, and 29.6% of students had a kinesthetic learning style. In general, students tend to have visual and auditory learning styles. The results of hypothesis testing show that learning style has a relationship with learning achievement. Learning style has a significant effect on learning achievement. Learning style has a contribution or influence of 52% on student learning achievement and the remaining 48% is influenced by other variables that are not analyzed in the model.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the index card match type cooperative model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 122345 Pematangsiantar. This research is a pre-experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design, the sample of this research is 23 people. The data collection technique is a test. By carrying out the pretest, they got an average result of 55.87, then they were given treatment after being given treatment using the cooperative index card match type model, so they got a posttest score with an average value of 85.22. With the scores obtained, the posttest scores have a higher average than the pretest. After carrying out the posttest, the researcher carried out a normality test. From the data test, the results were that the data was normally distributed. Based on the results of data analysis using hypothesis testing. The results of the t test obtained t = 16,960 with a significance level of 0.000. because the significant probability is much smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 and tcount = 16,960 > ttable = 1,717, then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that it means that there is an influence of the index card match type cooperative learning model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at UPTD Elementary School, State Elementary School 122345 Pematangsiantar for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This article discusses the crucial role of parental love and support in promoting the growth and development of young children with special needs. Children with special needs require a more specific and consistent approach to supporting their physical, emotional, and social development. Parents play a central role in providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that can stimulate the abilities and skills of the child. Through an inspirational story of a mother who successfully supports her child with special needs to achieve academic success, this article explores how intensive parental attention can have a significant positive impact. Parental love not only creates a harmonious relationship but also fosters self-confidence in the child, enhances adaptability, and strengthens social skills needed for independence. Research shows that children with special needs who receive full parental support tend to experience more optimal development compared to those who do not receive the same support. This article highlights the importance of educating parents to understand the specific conditions and needs of children with special needs, as well as to apply appropriate parenting methods to support the child's future success.

Abstract

One of the communities most often looked at or interested by students is the student community of nature lovers. This community offers in-depth knowledge about interesting activities that can be done in nature, so it can be a place for students who have more interest in nature. There are many reasons why they have an interest in doing activities in nature, including hobbies, fomo, and the most common reason is because they want to overcome stress. According to them, activities in nature such as hiking, trekking, and diving can be a therapy when they are experiencing problems. In addition, nature provides positive energy that makes the brain fresh. The purpose of this study is to discuss the benefits of nature as therapy for the student community of nature lovers. In this study we used a qualitative approach with a focus on phenomenology, data collection techniques were carried out using in-depth interview methods. This research is expected to provide an overview of activities in nature that can be used as therapy to overcome stress, add relationships and alternative vacations.

Abstract

Learning media needs to be developed by utilizing technology supported by the availability of facilities in schools so that students are interested in paying attention to the material being explained with a media. The purpose of this research is to develop video learning media using Plotagon Studio that is feasible and practical for Islamic education learning in the classroom. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model. The research was carried out at Nurul ‎Ihsan Islamic High School, Palangkaraya. The video learning media in Islamic education was adjusted appropriately through validity and practicality tests. Validation was carried out by media experts and material experts. The results of the validity test of video learning media in Islamic education using Plotagon Studio at Nurul Ihsan Islamic High School Palangkaraya were declared valid with a validation percentage of media experts of 83.75%, and material experts of 76.39%. While the results of the practicality test at the research school were 82.37% for student responses. Thus, the use of video learning media in Islamic education using Plotagon Studio at Nurul Ihsan Islamic High School in Palangkaraya is valid and practical for use in the learning process. ‎

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' speed skills through the implementation of the cone relay game method in Physical Education and Health (PJOK) for sixth-grade students at SDN Pakis 1. This research employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles, where each cycle involves planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are 26 sixth-grade students. Data collection was carried out through speed skill tests and student activity observations. The results of the study show a significant improvement in students' speed skills following the application of the cone relay game method. In the second cycle, most students reached good and excellent categories in speed skills. Additionally, this method positively impacted students' motivation to participate in PJOK learning. Thus, the cone relay game can serve as an effective alternative method to enhance students' speed skills.
