Abstract

In an increasingly complex business world, leadership plays a key role in determining organizational effectiveness. Agile Leadership and Transformational Leadership are two leadership approaches that have unique characteristics in managing change and achieving business goals. Agile Leadership emphasizes flexibility, rapid adaptation, and decentralized decision-making, making it suitable for dynamic environments such as the technology and startup industries. Meanwhile, Transformational Leadership is oriented towards long-term vision and gradual organizational cultural change with leaders as the main inspirators. Both approaches have their own advantages, but also face challenges in their implementation, such as cultural resistance in Agile Leadership and dependence on charismatic leaders in Transformational Leadership. This study uses a literature study method to compare the effectiveness of the two leadership models in various organizational contexts. The results of the analysis show that the combination of Agile Leadership and Transformational Leadership can create a balance between organizational agility and long-term stability. By understanding the advantages and limitations of each model, organizations can implement a more adaptive and innovation-oriented leadership strategy to face increasingly dynamic market changes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of e-marketing strategies in increasing brand awareness among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. In the digital era, MSMEs are increasingly required to adapt to technological developments, particularly in marketing. However, many business actors still lack the understanding to implement digital strategies effectively. This study focuses on four key e-marketing components: social media marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 109 MSME respondents using purposive sampling, and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The results show that social media marketing and SEO/SEM have a significant and positive effect on brand awareness, while content marketing and email marketing show no significant effect. These findings suggest that MSMEs should prioritize the use of social media and search engine optimization strategies to enhance brand visibility. This study provides valuable insights for MSME practitioners in formulating effective digital marketing strategies and contributes to the academic literature on MSME marketing performance in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes has developed into a global epidemic with a significant increase in prevalence, both in the world and in Indonesia. This disease not only impacts quality of life, but also places a large economic burden on the health care system. Although most diabetes interventions still focus on pharmacological treatment, non-pharmacological approaches such as nutritional interventions and increased physical activity have been shown to be effective in lowering blood glucose levels, increasing insulin sensitivity, and improving patients' metabolic profiles. However, the effectiveness of these interventions is highly dependent on patient compliance. Compliance with these interventions is influenced by psychological, socioeconomic, and health literacy factors. Intrinsic motivation and positive perceptions of the disease can increase patient commitment, while stress, depression, and limited access to healthy food and sports facilities can hinder compliance. High health literacy affects patients' understanding of treatment and their readiness to make behavioral changes. Approaches based on education, social support, and the use of digital technology can strengthen diabetes management and improve patient compliance. Therefore, effective interventions require a more personalized, interdisciplinary approach that is oriented towards long-term behavioral change to achieve sustainable results.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating effect of Environmental-Friendly Operational Efficiency (EOBRL) on the relationship of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), capital structure, company size, and company performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. It employed path analysis using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that GCG directly improves performance because of its impact on EOBRL which encourages sustainable and efficient business operations. The study also shows that capital structure measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) improves performance by allowing investments into green technology and operational advancements. In addition, larger firms enhance EOBRL and performance as they are more able to invest in sustainability. EOBRL was found to be the most significant mediator of EOBRL in GCG, capital structure and company size and better performance due to increased environmental regulations in the industry. This research supports the notion that sustainability should drive operational efficiency and competitiveness in the long term. Further research may focus on specific sector’s issues, impacts of changing legislations, and the influence of technology on the development of EOBRL in different sectors

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between profitability ratios and dividend policy in companies operating in the consumption sector. The main focus of this research is to examine whether high profitability significantly influences the dividend policy implemented by companies. The profitability ratios used in this study include Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while dividend policy is measured through Dividend Payout and Dividend Yield. Using multiple linear regression analysis, this study found that all the variables tested have a significant impact on the company's dividend policy. The analysis results show that companies with higher profitability tend to pay higher dividends, reflecting strong financial stability. This study also examines other aspects such as financial stability, which plays an important role in the company's ability to consistently pay dividends. The findings provide valuable insights for company managers in formulating an optimal dividend policy that can enhance shareholder value.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 5.0 brings a paradigm shift towards harmonious collaboration between humans and intelligent machines, demanding a human-centric approach in Smart City development. Smart City projects in this era must be adaptive, not only integrating technologies such as IoT and AI, but also considering social dynamics, culture, and digital ethics. Key challenges include the digital divide, social resistance, and the need for more flexible and collaborative project management. This study aims to analyze the use of SWOT as an adaptive strategy tool in dealing with this complexity. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach through case studies in several major cities in Indonesia, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation studies, and observations. SWOT is developed from being an evaluative tool into a dynamic strategy framework that takes into account technological, social, cultural, and sustainability factors. The findings show that the integration of SWOT with additional analysis such as PESTLE and Balanced Scorecard strengthens the adaptive power of Smart City management, allowing for the formulation of strategies that are more responsive to exponential change. This study recommends updating the SWOT framework to accommodate the values of the Industrial Revolution 5.0, thereby supporting the development of more inclusive, humanistic, and sustainable smart cities

Abstract

The development of social media in the last decade has changed the consumption behavior of teenagers, with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube becoming the main space for forming opinions and lifestyles. Teenagers, as digital natives, are exposed to intense visual and audio-visual content curated by algorithms, which often form consumption standards based on social image, not functional needs. This phenomenon is further strengthened by the role of influencers who promote products through personal narratives that are often not recognized as advertisements. Teenagers tend to adopt impulsive consumption patterns due to social pressure and the strong influence of endorsements on social media, which further blurs the line between entertainment and marketing. This leads to faster and more emotional changes in shopping patterns, and encourages them to buy goods for social image. In addition, low digital and financial literacy among teenagers increases their vulnerability to manipulative marketing, which influences their purchasing decisions. This study aims to understand how social media, through influencers, influences teenagers' shopping habits, as well as the importance of digital and social literacy in helping teenagers make wiser and more rational consumption decisions. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to explore teenagers' consumption experiences, with a focus on understanding the impact of social media on developing consumption patterns.
