Abstract

Rural areas are defined as rural communities who live at the local level or what is known as a village. The dynamics of political life at the village level are very important to see and observe, because building an independent, advanced country and maintaining national integrity starts from the lowest level, namely the village or rural community. So awareness of the importance of developing rural communities continues until the current government, this is marked by the program run by the Central Government by providing fresh funds every year to villages throughout Indonesia. The village head election system cannot be separated from the dynamics in local political developments at the village level. In the village head election, there was a struggle for power, as is common in every round of Village Head elections in Indonesia. Candidates for village head use various methods in the village head election process in order to win the election and gain power at the lower level. Awareness of the importance of developing rural communities continues until the current government, this is marked by the program run by the Central Government by providing fresh funds every year to villages throughout Indonesia, of course this is an indication of the importance of developing communities at the village level so that they are independent and have higher productivity and will further improve the welfare of society. A village or rural environment (rural area) is a community that is always associated with simplicity, backwardness, traditionalism, subsistence and isolation (Rahardj, 1999)

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the ethical principles applied in the process of creating and implementing poverty alleviation policies in Kabupaten Bima, utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants were selected purposively, involving key figures such as government officials from the Social Services and Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Kabupaten Bima, academics, and community activists, to gather data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the success of these policies heavily depends on the implementation of transparency, distributive justice, and accountability. Transparency ensures that the policy process can be followed and monitored by the public, enhancing trust and community participation. Distributive justice promotes the fair allocation of resources, ensuring that all segments of society feel the benefits of the implemented policies. Meanwhile, accountability underscores the government's responsibility in managing and reporting resources fairly and honestly. This research also highlights the importance of using information technology to support transparency and enhance community participation, as well as strengthening the capacities of both government and communities to create an ethical and effective poverty alleviation system.

Abstract

Multicultural is often used to describe the unity of various ethnic groups in a country. This journal explains what gender equality looks like from a multicultural perspective. This research is a literature review. When discussing equality, the focus is on the fair treatment of all people. Differences are part of true equality, and groups must have special rights to compensate for existing differences. When analyzing the basic assumptions of the principle of equality and recognition of differences, several problems were discovered. First, there is tension between one group and another, where multiculturalism ironically emphasizes differences between cultural groups and ignores similarities. Second, conflicts may arise between minority groups who demand equal rights. If we want to further advance our multicultural agenda, we need to address these issues.

Citizenship education is important to teach students and young people the values and skills of being active citizens. The aim of this research is to build student character who is developing in the current digital era. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The data collection technique used is through literature analysis, such as books, scientific articles, and various sources relevant to this research, namely building student awareness about the importance of citizenship education in the digital era. In the current digital era, citizenship education is very important as a control tool in accepting change so that students do not lose their identity in realizing the golden generation of the Indonesian nation. The role of technology as a means to make it easier to teach civics education to students. With the help of various supports such as parents, teachers, government and society. Apart from being students, students must also become citizens who have a sense of nationalism and defend the country, by applying Pancasila values, be active in the democratic political process, and be able to encourage the surrounding community as agents of change. The challenge of using technology as an educational tool is that students are easily influenced by fake news, not all students have devices and internet connections, students and teaching staff still lack skills in implementing IT (Information Technology). By linking citizenship education to digitalization, it will be easier to provide teaching because students can explore diversity which is quite minimal if we get information directly, then students can find out about the diversity that exists in Indonesia and the world.

Abstract

Community perception of the performance of village government in Medan Estate village means that the author focuses the research in this article on looking at the extent of the performance of village government in Medan Estate village. The aim of this research is to determine the performance of village government in Medan Estate village. This type of research is qualitative. Qualitative research methods focus on interviewing other people in external and complex environments. (Moleong, 1999; Creswell, 2002, Lindloft, 1995), states that qualitative research methods are more inductive. This means that the research step that must be prioritized is data based on facts, symptoms, phenomena, reality which is the theme, then processed, processed, so that at the end of the research it can become a proposition, model or even theory. The solution to this problem is that the president must have supervisors in the village government such as the TNI, police and PPKn lecturer experts to select which members of the village apparatus are not suitable for use or use. And this aims to ensure that people who are on the inside route are not worthy of getting a job, must be smart, wise, competent people who are worthy of being village officials. And the results of village government performance are increasingly advanced and evenly distributed.
