Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the way small and medium enterprises (SMEs) run their businesses. Generation Z, as a group that grew up with technology, has an important role in driving innovation and digital marketing strategies for MSMEs. This article examines how Gen Z involvement can improve MSME competitiveness through the use of social media, e-commerce platforms, and the use of other digital technologies. In addition, this article discusses the challenges faced by Gen Z in implementing digital innovation and effective marketing strategies. With a qualitative approach and literature study, this article provides an overview of Gen Z's real contribution to the digital transformation of MSMEs as well as recommendations for increasing synergy between the younger generation and MSME actors for inclusive and sustainable economic progress.

Abstract

Indonesian Islamic banking has undergone significant transformation in the digital era through the adoption of technologies such as mobile banking, digital wallets, P2P lending, robo-advisors, and blockchain. Digitalization improves service efficiency, reduces costs, and expands access to remote areas. However, challenges arise related to cybersecurity, low literacy and inclusion of Islamic finance, limited digital human resources, and regulations that are not yet in line with technological developments. Integrated efforts including education, strengthening security, human resource development, innovation of Islamic products, and collaboration with the halal ecosystem are needed to ensure sustainable growth of this sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung pengelolaan administrasi dan akademik di MAN 1 Banyumas. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas manajemen pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MAN 1 Banyumas telah menerapkan berbagai sistem informasi seperti Learning Management Sistem (Griya Belajar), sistem PPDB berbasis daring, sistem penilaian digital, serta pendataan sarana dan prasarana. Meskipun sistem-sistem tersebut berjalan secara terpisah, penggunaannya telah memberikan kemudahan dalam proses administrasi dan pembelajaran. Temuan juga menunjukkan adanya rencana pengembangan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi untuk memaksimalkan pelayanan pendidikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sistem informasi yang terencana serta pelatihan berkala kepada pengguna dapat meningkatkan kualitas manajemen sekolah dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ticket prices and service quality on the decision to visit Taman Bunga Nusantara. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, which was conducted on 51 respondents who had visited the destination. The sampling technique used accidental sampling, and the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that partially, ticket prices did not have a significant effect on the decision to visit, with a significance value of 0.719 (> 0.05). On the other hand, service quality had a significant effect on the decision to visit, with a significance value of <0.001. Simultaneously, the variables ticket price and service quality had a significant effect on the decision to visit, with a significance value of 0.000 and Fcount of 30.048. These results indicate that service quality has a more dominant influence than ticket prices in forming the decision to visit Taman Bunga Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and transformational leadership on the performance of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees at the Bekasi City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM). The background of this study is based on the importance of leadership and job satisfaction as key factors in improving employee performance to support optimal public services. The study used a quantitative approach with data collection through distributing questionnaires to 53 respondents. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to measure the extent of the influence of the independent variables (transformational leadership and job satisfaction) on the dependent variable (employee performance). The results of the analysis showed that both independent variables had a positive and significant influence on ASN performance. Transformational leadership had a coefficient of 0.415 with a significance value of 0.001, while job satisfaction showed a coefficient value of 0.372 and a significance value of 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.652 indicates that 65.2% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by transformational leadership and job satisfaction. The remaining 34.8% is explained by other variables outside the model. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, all alternative hypotheses (Ha1, Ha2, and Ha3) were accepted. This means that, both partially and simultaneously, transformational leadership and job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance. This finding reinforces the importance of an inspirational leadership style, capable of providing motivation, vision, and individual attention to subordinates, as well as the importance of creating a supportive and satisfying work environment for employees. These two aspects have proven to be effective strategies for improving ASN performance, particularly within the Bekasi City BKPSDM environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of customer experience on customer loyalty mediated by emotional bonding in Bakmi Chao Guo customers in Malang City. In a highly competitive culinary industry, customer loyalty is one of the important elements in maintaining and improving business continuity. Bakmi Chao Guo, as one of the culinary business actors, already has a number of regular customers who make regular visits every quarter. However, the number of visits still does not reach the company's optimal target, which is 450 visits per quarter. This shows that despite the presence of loyal customers, a more appropriate strategy is still needed to significantly increase the frequency of visits. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 120 respondents who are active customers of Bakmi Chao Guo. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to test the relationship between research variables, namely customer experience, emotional bonding, and customer loyalty. The results of the study show that customer experience has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty, both directly and indirectly through the mediation variable of emotional bonding. A fun and memorable customer experience creates a strong emotional bond, which ultimately encourages customers to stay loyal and make repeat purchases. These findings provide important managerial implications for Bakmi Chao Guo managers and other culinary business actors, namely the need to focus on creating consistent, personalized, and meaningful customer experiences. In addition, building a close emotional connection between customers and brands will be a decisive factor in creating sustainable long-term loyalty amid ever-evolving market competition.

Abstract

 In today's digital era, the use of manual sales recording systems is considered ineffective and inefficient. Manual systems often cause various problems, such as calculation errors, delays in reporting, and a lack of accuracy and efficiency in transaction data management. Furthermore, manual recording processes also take longer and are susceptible to data loss. Therefore, a digitalized sales recording system is needed that can be accessed practically, including via mobile devices such as mobile phones. This study aims to design a mobile application-based sales recording system that is fast, easy to use, and able to minimize recording errors. This application is designed to automatically calculate total sales, store transaction data securely, and generate sales reports that can be accessed directly without the need for additional systems. Thus, business owners can record and monitor sales more efficiently and in real time. The methodology used in this study includes data collection methods through interviews and observations of micro and small business owners, as well as a system development method using the Waterfall model, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a system design that includes several key features: a login page for user security, a product menu list page, a transaction input page, and a sales report page that can be downloaded in Excel format. This system design was successfully developed and deemed feasible for implementation in business operations. It is hoped that this application can help business owners improve the efficiency of recording and managing sales data digitally and practically.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of capital, length of business, and technology on the income of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that are members of the Indonesian Laundry Association (ASLI) in Samarinda City. The study employs a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach to provide a structured and measurable analysis of the relationships between variables. The sample consisted of 39 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique, ensuring representation of ASLI members within the study area. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, and questionnaires, which were designed to capture detailed information regarding business characteristics, capital structure, technology adoption, and income levels. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test both the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on income. The results reveal that, partially, the capital variable does not have a significant effect on income, suggesting that access to or the amount of capital may not directly translate into higher earnings within this industry. Conversely, the length of business operation has a significant positive effect on income, indicating that experience and business maturity contribute to better financial performance. The technology variable, despite its importance in other sectors, does not show a significant partial effect on income in this context. However, when analyzed simultaneously, capital, length of business, and technology together have a significant effect on income, highlighting the importance of these factors in combination rather than isolation.This study contributes to the understanding of MSME performance determinants, particularly in service-based industries such as laundry businesses, and provides insights for policymakers and practitioners in developing targeted support strategies to enhance income sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to apply strategic management to the Jimbe Drum craftsman UMKM, UD. Karya Mandiri in Blitar City through Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The implementation of this strategic management is expected to help UMKM in formulating appropriate business development steps amidst the competition in the traditional musical instrument industry, while maximizing global market opportunities. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to owners, employees, and consumers of UD. Karya Mandiri. The collected data were then analyzed using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices to map the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results of the analysis show that UD. Karya Mandiri's main strengths lie in high product quality, unique designs, and a good reputation in both local and national markets. A prominent weakness is the limited digital promotion, so that reach to the international market is not optimal. Opportunities that can be utilized are the increasing global market interest in traditional musical instruments, while threats include fluctuations in raw material prices, competition from similar products, and changes in music trends among young consumers. Based on the results of the IFE and EFE matrices, UD. Karya Mandiri's position is in quadrant I in the SWOT diagram, which indicates conditions for implementing aggressive strategies, such as market expansion and product diversification. The results of the QSPM analysis show that the priority strategy is export optimization by utilizing superior product quality, which obtained a Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 3.42. The implementation of this strategy is expected to expand market share, increase competitiveness at the global level, and strengthen the image of the Kendang Jimbe brand as a typical Indonesian product with high artistic value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and Work Life Balance (WLB) on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch. LMX represents the quality of reciprocal relationships between leaders and subordinates, including trust, support, and effective communication, while WLB reflects the balance between work demands and employees' personal lives. Employee performance is measured based on aspects of quantity, quality, efficiency, discipline, and initiative in completing work. Job satisfaction is positioned as a mediating variable believed to strengthen the influence of LMX and WLB on employee performance. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to all 92 active employees, so the sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results showed that LMX has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, where a harmonious relationship between leaders and subordinates can increase employee satisfaction with their work. WLB was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, indicating that a good work-life balance can increase employee motivation and well-being. Furthermore, LMX and WLB directly influence performance, and job satisfaction is shown to mediate the relationship, thus strengthening the influence of both on employee performance. These findings provide practical implications for the management of PT. Bank Nagari, namely the importance of strengthening the quality of interactions between superiors and subordinates, providing emotional support, and implementing flexible work policies that support employee welfare.
