Jurnal Imiah Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (JIPM) merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarkat yang diterbitkan oleh CV.INDONESIA dengan Nomor Registrasi ISSN : 3026-1163 (Online). Abstract

This article aims to design a website for Pekanbarushoppingmall MSMEs using Visual Studio Code as a tool to improve marketing and promotion of cosmetics, accessories and buckets. The method used includes data collection through interviews with the owner and direct observation at the Pekanbarushoppingmall shop, followed by designing the database, appearance and structure of the website http://pekanbarushoppingmall.rf.gd/index.html. This design shows that the website developed functions as an effective digital storefront, provides complete information about products, and facilitates interaction with consumers. The conclusion of this project states that the implementation of this website is expected to increase the existence of Pekanbarushoppingmall in the market

Abstract

This activity is about strengthening Islamic religious education in Tunas Mekar Kindergarten through the storytelling method. The method of strengthening is through stories of the Prophet and Apostles and the Qur'an. This method utilizes children's imagination, making learning more interesting and easy to understand. The purpose of strengthening Islamic religious education in early childhood is very important to form a solid foundation in the moral, spiritual, and social development of children. In addition, strengthening Islamic religious education in early childhood aims to form a strong character, have strong faith, and live a life full of values ​​of goodness, peace, and balance. Through the introduction of Islamic teachings from an early age, children are taught to behave in accordance with religious guidance, such as speaking politely, respecting parents, acting honestly, and caring for others. The implementation method used is the storytelling method with an educational audio and video approach. Based on the results of the counseling, it shows that the storytelling method is an effective way to teach Islamic religious values ​​to children. By using stories from the Qur'an, hadith, stories of prophets, companions, or noble morals, children can understand religious teachings in a fun and easy-to-digest way. In addition, this learning can also improve children's social and emotional skills and form good character from an early age.

Abstract

This study explores the critical role of local values in education and their impact on social transformation. It emphasizes the integration of local wisdom into educational curricula to enhance students' cultural identity and social awareness. By incorporating local values, education can foster a sense of belonging and community, ultimately leading to a more cohesive society. The research highlights various strategies for implementing local wisdom in educational practices, particularly in Indonesia, where diverse cultures coexist. These strategies include collaborative learning, community engagement, and the use of culturally relevant materials that resonate with students' backgrounds. The findings suggest that a curriculum enriched with local values not only improves academic performance but also nurtures character development among students. Furthermore, this approach encourages students to appreciate their heritage and promotes respect for diversity, which is essential in today’s globalized world. Ultimately, integrating local wisdom into education can empower students to become active and responsible citizens in their communities.

Abstract

The formation of students' character and self-confidence based on noble cultural values ​​can be formed through education and the culture around them. Culture-based learning does not just transfer or embody culture, but also utilizes culture to develop students' creativity in achieving learning goals. Learning that utilizes culture can also be called learning with the Culturally Responsive Teaching model or can be called CRT. This learning model can be used as community service with the target participants being 29 PGSD study program students. In this service there are 4 flow stages of activities, namely: Design, Preparation, Socialization and program sustainability.

Abstract

The program to increase understanding of elementary school level concepts is carried out in the form of activities to socialize understanding of the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge and understanding for prospective elementary school teachers in improving their competence, especially understanding the implementation of CRT. This socialization activity uses lecture, question and answer and discussion methods. The training participants were 23 elementary school teachers. Prospective elementary school teachers can understand and comprehend the material provided in this activity, because this material is equipped with examples of CRT approach teaching modules, so that teachers' obstacles in implementing CRT in schools can be overcome in the teaching process.

Abstract

This community service project focuses on the socialization of mathematics learning devices based on the CRT (Culturally Relevant Teaching) approach, utilizing batik motifs for teaching flat shapes to first-grade students at SDN 2 Ketandan. The primary goal is to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of mathematical concepts through culturally relevant materials that resonate with their local heritage. The project involves training teachers on how to implement these learning devices effectively in the classroom, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment. By integrating cultural elements into mathematics education, this initiative aims to motivate students and improve their academic performance while instilling a sense of pride in their cultural identity. The outcomes of this project will be evaluated through pre- and post-tests, as well as feedback from both teachers and students, ensuring that the implemented strategies are effective and beneficial

Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize the importance of preparing differentiated teaching modules among educators. The preparation of differentiated teaching modules is one strategy in creating an inclusive learning experience that can be adjusted to the needs, interests, and abilities of diverse students. This activity involves fourth semester students from the PGSD study program, with a focus on developing their abilities in designing effective and responsive teaching modules to individual differences in students. Socialization is carried out through material presentations, discussions on the preparation of teaching modules, which are expected to improve educators' skills in implementing a differentiated learning approach. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of differentiated teaching modules and their ability to adapt learning materials according to student needs. This activity makes a significant contribution to efforts to improve the quality of education by presenting learning that is more relevant, inclusive, and oriented towards the diversity of students.

Abstract

Perlindungan konsumen merupakan aspek penting dalam mewujudkan keadilan sosial dan ekonomi. Undang-Undang No.8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen hadir sebagai instrumen hukum yang menjamin hak-hak konsumen atas barang dan jasa yang aman, berkualitas, dan sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku. Namun, masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami hak dan kewajiban mereka sebagai konsumen, serta peran penting pelaku usaha dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara kepentingan konsumen dan bisnis. Kurangnya pengetahuan ini berdampak pada ketidakmampuan konsumen untuk melindungi diri dari produk atau jasa yang tidak sesuai standar, sehingga rentan terhadap kerugian. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kegiatan edukasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai hak-hak mereka sebagai konsumen yang diatur dalam UU No. 8 Tahun 1999. Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen ini merupakan bagian dari upaya negara untuk menjaga keseimbangan antara konsumen dan pelaku usaha dalam konteks ekonomi, yang diulas lebih mendalam oleh Philip Kotler dalam bukunya yang membahas peran konsumen dalam pasar modern, serta perlunya regulasi yang jelas untuk menjaga hak-hak konsumen secara adil dan transparan. Di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi saat ini, transaksi perdagangan tidak hanya terjadi secara langsung tetapi juga semakin marak dilakukan melalui platform online. Dengan perkembangan ini, konsumen semakin rentan terhadap berbagai produk yang tidak memenuhi standar, baik dalam hal kualitas maupun keamanan. Selain itu, praktik-praktik bisnis yang tidak etis, seperti penipuan dalam e-commerce dan penyebaran informasi yang menyesatkan, semakin mengkuatirkan. Perlindungan konsumen di dunia digital ini menjadi tantangan yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan dengan transaksi konvensional. Undang-Undang No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen berperan penting dalam menciptakan keseimbangan antara hak dan kewajiban konsumen serta pelaku usaha. Undang-undang ini mengatur berbagai aspek perlindungan konsumen, mulai dari hak untuk mendapatkan barang dan jasa yang sesuai dengan standar, hak untuk mendapatkan informasi yang benar, hingga hak untuk mendapatkan kompensasi atau ganti rugi jika terjadi kerugian. hak untuk mendapatkan informasi yang benar, hingga hak untuk mendapatkan kompensasi atau ganti rugi jika terjadi kerugian. Sayangnya, pengetahuan masyarakat tentang UU ini masih sangat terbatas. Sebagian besar konsumen tidak menyadari hak-hak mereka dan bagaimana mereka dapat menuntutnya jika terjadi pelanggaran. Di sisi lain, banyak pelaku usaha, terutama pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM), yang masih belum memahami tanggung jawab mereka dalam memastikan produk atau jasa yang mereka tawarkan sesuai dengan standar perlindungan konsumen. Ketidakpatuhan ini seringkali terjadi karena minimnya edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang peraturan yang berlaku. Edukasi tentang UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 penting untuk mencegah terjadinya perselisihan antara konsumen dan pelaku usaha serta menciptakan pasar yang lebih adil dan transparan. Selain itu, minimnya pemahaman tentang mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa konsumen menyebabkan banyak konsumen yang mengalami kerugian tidak tahu bagaimana cara untuk menuntut hak mereka secara hukum. Kegiatan edukasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang jelas mengenai jika terjadi pelanggarn. Dalam konteks pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan, perlindungan konsumen tidak hanya memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas, tetapi juga bagi pelaku usaha dengan menciptakan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk atau layanan yang ditawarkan. Melalui edukasi dan penyuluhan, diharapkan konsumen dapat lebih kritis dalam memilih produk atau layanan, dan pelaku usaha semakin bertanggung jawab dalam menjalankan bisnis mereka. Dalam program kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) kali ini memberikan solusi kepada Yayasan Alkamilah Sawangan Depok Jawa Barat, terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam mendidik para santriawan santriwati dan panti tempat untuk mendidik para santriwan santriwati, dimana saat ini menampung para santriwan santriwatinya berasal dari kaum dhuafa dan miskin untuk belajar di Yayasan ini, dimana memberikan tambahan ilmu pengetahuan melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat materi pada Santriwan Santriwati untuk bekal (PKM), dalam hal ini melalui pemberian dikehidupannya kelak setelah keluar dari Pesantren terjun dimasyarakat. PKM ini sebagai wujud Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi, Fakultas Hukum S1 UNPAM, maka akan menyelenggarakan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan judul “SOSIALISASI DAN EDUKASI HAK DAN KEWAJIBAN KONSUMEN BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG No.8 TAHUN 1999 TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang Sosialisasi Dan Edukasi Hak Dan Kewajiban Konsumen Berdasarkan Undang-Undang No 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlidungan Konsumen di kalangan santriwan dan santriwati Pesantren Yayasan Al Kamilah Depok. Metode pengabdian masyarakat akan melibatkan penyusunan program pelatihan bagi para pengajar dan pembina pesantren, serta kegiatan interaktif untuk para santri. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan dapat membentuk generasi santri yang mempunyai pemahaman tentang perlindungan konsumen. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah melakukan penyuluhan dengan fokus pada pentingnya memiliki Jiwa Wirausaha, khususnya para santriwan dan santriwati di Pesantren Yayasan Al Kamilah Depok. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat menambah ilmu pengetahuan kepada para santri di Pesantren Yayasan Al Kamilah Depok.

Abstract

The teaching of mathematics, especially the topic of fractions, requires an interactive and practical approach to help students better understand the concepts. This study aims to develop a training program for mathematics learning on the topic of 'Fractions' using the Discovery Learning model combined with the CRT (Culturally Responsive Teaching) approach for third-semester PGSD students at Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten. The training allows students to explore and discover the concept of fractions through group activities involving visual learning media, namely the Fraction Cake Board. The research method applied is a qualitative approach with observation and interviews to assess the effectiveness of the training. The results show that the training successfully enhanced the students' understanding of fractions and strengthened their ability to apply the concept in real-life situations. Overall, the implementation of Discovery Learning and the CRT approach in mathematics education proved to be effective in increasing student engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is a very important part of human life. Through education, it is hoped that changes and developments will occur in human life over time. One effort that can be made to improve the quality of education and also increase cultural understanding is by using an approach that is very relevant to society, namely implementing culturally responsive teaching or culturally responsive learning. This approach requires teaching modules that will be used as the main instrument in the learning process. The implementation of teaching modules with culturally responsive teaching in the field itself still has several obstacles and challenges. So there is a need for socialization and assistance, especially for students as prospective educators to increase understanding of culturally responsive teaching-based teaching modules. The method used in this service is socialization.
