Abstract

The rapid growth in information and communication technology (ICT) has fundamentally transformed the business landscape, leading to the emergence of new business models and accelerating the pace of change. In this context, it is essential to prepare the next generation with the appropriate skills to face challenges and leverage opportunities offered by the technology revolution. The purpose of this research is to examine education strategies to produce a technology-based entrepreneurial generation. This study is a qualitative literature review aiming to investigate various approaches in academic literature related to the research topic. Data for this research will be retrieved from Google Scholar with a range of years from 2018 to 2023. The study findings indicate that education strategies to produce a technology-based entrepreneurial generation must be comprehensive, holistic, and sustainable. Education should prioritize the development of technical skills, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial attitudes in an inclusive and sustainable learning environment. Additionally, education should integrate project-based learning and real-world experiences, as well as strengthen soft skills essential for success in business.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals' ability to innovate. A robust and relevant education system will produce human resources capable of adopting, developing, and implementing new technologies. However, it is important to understand the extent to which education influences technological innovation in the business world. This research aims to delve deeper into the role of education in driving innovation and to identify effective strategies to enhance education's contribution in addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities in the era of technological innovation. This research method will adopt a qualitative literature review approach focusing on the analysis and synthesis of relevant literature from the period of 1999-2023. The study results indicate that the role of education in driving technological innovation in the business world is highly significant. Education not only shapes individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to develop new technologies but also cultivates an innovative mindset and a collaborative culture essential in the innovation process. Educational institutions also serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge among various stakeholders, as well as facilitators in expanding access to resources and opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Abstract

Educational businesses, such as schools, colleges, and training institutions, have an increasing need to recruit quality employees who have the potential to fill various positions, ranging from teaching staff to administrative personnel. An efficient and effective recruitment process is crucial to ensure that educational institutions can maintain their quality standards and meet the educational needs of the community effectively. This research aims to explore how ChatGPT can be optimized to enhance the employee recruitment process in the education business. The study adopts a qualitative literature review approach, utilizing data from Google Scholar spanning from 2016 to 2023. This approach involves an in-depth analysis of various articles, journals, and related scholarly works published during this period. The study findings indicate that optimizing the employee recruitment process in the education business through ChatGPT implementation offers significant potential to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall user experience. By leveraging artificial intelligence to provide quick responses, conduct initial interviews, and offer personalized experiences to applicants, ChatGPT can be a valuable tool for recruitment teams in selecting the most suitable candidates for available positions.

Abstract

There is a global increase in interest in entrepreneurship among individuals from diverse backgrounds. This phenomenon is fuelled by various factors, including economic, technological, and cultural changes. However, psychological factors also have a significant influence in shaping entrepreneurial intention and behaviour. This research aims to examine the impact of psychological factors in decision-making to start and develop entrepreneurial initiatives. The research method is a qualitative literature review that takes data from Google Scholar for the period 2006 to 2023. The study results show that the impact of psychological factors in decision-making to start and develop entrepreneurial initiatives is significant. Individual motivation, risk perception, tolerance for uncertainty, self-confidence, ability to manage stress, and social support are some of the key psychological factors that influence the entrepreneurial decision-making process. Understanding the complex interactions between these factors is key to developing a better understanding of entrepreneurial motivation and behaviour.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has been acknowledged as one of the primary drivers of economic growth in various countries worldwide. In the era of globalization and increasing competition, entrepreneurship becomes crucial in strengthening a nation's competitiveness. This study aims to examine the dynamics of situational leadership and its influence on human resource development in the context of entrepreneurship. The research method employed in this study is a qualitative literature review using data obtained from Google Scholar for the period from 2009 to 2023. The study findings indicate that situational leadership dynamics have a significant impact on human resource development (HRD) in the context of entrepreneurship. This concept emphasizes the importance of leadership adaptation to various rapidly changing and complex situations. By recognizing individual needs and team dynamics, leaders can facilitate learning, growth, and innovation within the organization.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the significant phenomenon in the current digital era where technology has become a major driver of change in various aspects of life, including the business world and entrepreneurship. Disruptive technology, defined as technology that disrupts existing business models, has fundamentally changed the business landscape. The aim of this research is to examine how disruptive technology affects the transformation of human resources and its impact on technopreneurship practices. This research method involves a qualitative literature review using data sources from Google Scholar spanning from 2019 to 2023. The results of the study indicate that in the rapidly evolving technological era, the presence of disruptive technology has become a major driver in the transformation of human resources and technopreneurship practices. Disruptive technology fundamentally alters the way we work, interact, and create value in society. This transformation includes changes in workforce needs and how entrepreneurs leverage innovation to create value.

Abstract

In the rapidly changing business world, creativity and innovation are foundational to the success of a company, especially in the context of entrepreneurship. The ability to think outside the box, create new solutions, and identify market opportunities are key factors that differentiate successful businesses from those that fail. This research aims to analyze the psychological dynamics in stimulating creativity and innovation in the entrepreneurial environment. The research method used is a qualitative literature review using data from Google Scholar from 2007 to 2024. The study results indicate that psychological dynamics play a crucial role in stimulating creativity and innovation in entrepreneurial environments. Understanding motivation, perception of failure, and supportive work environments are key to creating conditions that enable entrepreneurs to create new value, discover innovative solutions, and bring about significant change. Entrepreneurship requires more than just business knowledge; it also requires sensitivity to the psychological factors influencing creativity and innovation.

Abstract

Speaking is a crucial language skill encompassing the ability to pronounce words, convey ideas, thoughts, and opinions effectively. Despite its significance, many students exhibit a preference for their native language, such as Indonesian, over English. This study investigates the efficacy of utilizing picture series as a tool to improve students' English speaking proficiency at the second grade level of SMP Negeri 1 Tanimbar Utara. The research question addressed is whether picture series as a medium can enhance students' speaking ability. The objective is to explore how picture series as a medium can facilitate students' speaking skill development and improve their English language learning experience. This study adopts an experimental and quantitative research approach with a sample population of 50 students. The research instruments include a Speaking Skill Test and a Rating Scale of Speaking Skill Test. Data collection methods consist of Pre-Test and Post-Test assessments. The findings reveal a significant correlation between the use of picture series as a media and the enhancement of students' speaking skills. The validity test conducted through SPSS 25 confirms the suitability of the questionnaire items for research purposes. Overall, the results suggest that employing picture series as a teaching aid can effectively bolster students' speaking abilities, particularly for second-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanimbar Utara.

Abstract

Education stands as a cornerstone sector, crucial for societal development and government attention, particularly in Indonesia. However, the education system in Indonesia faces challenges and necessitates continuous improvement to enhance learning and teaching processes. This study explores the effectiveness of utilizing conversation texts to improve students' speaking skills, focusing on English language learners at English House Course of SMA Negeri 10 Kepulauan Tanimbar. The research question addresses whether conversation texts can positively influence students' speaking proficiency. The objective is to assess the impact of incorporating conversation texts on students' speaking skills. This study employs descriptive and quantitative research methodologies with a sample population of 60 students. Pre-test and post-test assessments serve as research instruments, while data analysis utilizes the Product Correlation Moment technique and hypothesis testing with the t-test formula. The findings indicate a significant correlation between the use of conversation texts and the enhancement of students' speaking skills. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between the variables, with the t-test confirming the significance of the improvement. Thus, it is concluded that integrating conversation texts effectively improves students' speaking abilities at the English House Course of SMA Negeri 10 Kepulauan Tanimbar.

Abstract

Effective communication skills are crucial in an increasingly interconnected global business environment. The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both orally and in writing, is key to fostering successful business relationships and overcoming cross-cultural challenges. This research aims to explore the implementation strategies of ChatGPT in enhancing students' communication skills, particularly within the global business context. The study adopts a qualitative literature review approach. Data for this research were sourced from scholarly articles available on Google Scholar, published between 2015 and 2024. The study findings indicate that implementing ChatGPT in education as an innovative strategy to enhance students' communication skills in the global business context holds significant potential in preparing the next generation for challenges in an increasingly interconnected and multicultural workplace. With its ability to provide real-time natural language interactions, ChatGPT not only aids in training students' communication skills but also prepares them to navigate various international business scenarios.
