Abstract

Fulfillment of educational rights is one of the efforts to improve the quality of prisoners in prisons. There are three categories of educational programs in prisons, namely formal, non-formal, and informal education. However, most prisons only implement non-formal and informal education, while formal education is limited to the A and B package catch-up programs. Therefore, it is necessary to fulfill educational rights to improve the quality of prisoners in prisons by providing undergraduate education to prisoners. The problem in this study concerns the implementation and obstacles in the student scholarship program as a development of human resources for prisoners in Class I Madiun Prison. This study aims to determine the implementation and obstacles of the student scholarship program as a development of human resources for prisoners. The theory used in this study is the theory of policy implementation. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study are that there are already standards and policy targets; there are already potential resources and there is an assessment in the selection of prisoners; there is good communication and commitment between the Class I Madiun Prison, the Madiun City Government, and the Open University; there are implementing agents who have good relationships; positive responses from prisoners to attend lectures; free tuition for prisoners, prisons that are improving to provide the best service and scholarship programs that are flagship programs and support from the Madiun City Government. In addition, the obstacles experienced are the lack of information about standards and policy targets; prisoners' hesitation to follow scholarships; forums and supervision that are still lacking; officers who are not ready at the beginning of lectures; lecturers who feel awkward and afraid when teaching; prisoners find it difficult to receive material; limited lecture facilities and infrastructure; there is no clarity if prisoners get integration rights.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a country with diverse ethnic groups, faces significant challenges in maintaining pluralism and tolerance, especially in the context of conflicts that are vulnerable among the tribes. This research aims to analyze the role of correctional officers in enhancing the legal awareness of inmates at the Class IIB State Detention Center in Pacitan. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results show that correctional officers play an important role in providing legal understanding, fulfilling the rights of inmates, and acting as good role models. However, obstacles such as limited human resources and the discipline of personnel hinder the effectiveness of coaching. The legal awareness of inmates has increased through the outreach and guidance programs implemented, but there is a need for evaluation and enhancement of the staff's competencies to achieve optimal results. This research emphasizes the important role of officers in creating an environment that supports legal awareness among inmates, which in turn contributes to order and justice in society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the personal hygiene behavior of female inmates' genitalia at Class IIB Pacitan Prison and identify the factors influencing it. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study found that although prisoners generally exhibit good hygiene behavior, there are still some obstacles that need to be addressed. Limited facilities, lack of female medical personnel, and minimal socialization regarding reproductive health are the main hindering factors. These findings indicate the importance of comprehensive efforts to improve the quality of reproductive health services in correctional facilities to meet the basic rights of female inmates.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work discipline, work environment loyalty and compensation on the performance of village officials in Semidang Alas Maras District. The type of research used is quantitative. The data analysis methods used are multiple linear regression, determination tests, and hypothesis tests. From the calculations, the results obtained by the multiple linear regression equation are: Y=6.366+0.494X1+0.131X2+0,312X3+0,482X4+2.733. Because the direction of the regression is positive, it can be interpreted that work discipline has a significant effect on performance. This can be proven by showing a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 because the significant value is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Loyalty also has a significant effect on performance, this is proven by showing a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 because the significant value is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The work environment has a significant effect on performance, this is proven by showing a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 because the significant value is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Compensation has a significant effect on performance, this can be proven by showing a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 because the significant value is smaller than 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the Anova table, a value (Sig) of 0.000 is obtained. The significant value is 0.000 < 0.05, which means that if the significant probability value is < 5% (0.05) then all independent variables, Work Discipline (X1), Loyalty (X2), Work Environment (X3), Compensation (X4) have an effect significant to the related variable, Performance Satisfaction (Y) of Village Officials in Semidang Alas Maras District.

Abstract

The research uses break-even analysis to determine the target profit that must be achieved. From the calculation at the break-even point, the BEP value for chicken geprek + rice was obtained as 162 units and in rupiah as Rp 1,615,324. This means that to reach a break-even point in sales in rupiah, the product of fried chicken with rice must achieve sales of Rp 1,615,324 or 162 units per month. Based on the calculations above, the BEP value for chicken geprek + rice + rice is obtained in units of 134 units and in rupiah amounting to Rp 2,534,288. This means that to reach a break-even point in sales in rupiah, it must be able to achieve sales of Rp 2,534,288 or 270 units per month. From the calculations above, the BEP value for ayam geprek is obtained as 204 units and Rp1,628,062. This means that to reach a break-even point in sales of Rp1,628,062, 204 units must be sold.

Abstract

The success of an organization in achieving its goals depends largely on the behavior and attitudes of people in synergizing various resources including human resources, natural resources, science and technology. In other words, the success of achieving goals depends on the reliability and ability of the people who operate the work units in the organization. People who play important roles in the organization include leadership elements. In order for organizations to reach a high level of performance, they need to ensure that the work environment supports employees. The work environment is everything around employees that can influence them in carrying out their duties. A pleasant work environment, especially during working hours, will influence employee morale and work excellence so that their performance increases. The research objective in this thesis is to examine the influence of the work environment and leadership on employee performance at the South Lampung Regional Development Planning Agency. This research uses a sampling research method with a total of 64 employees as respondents. Abstract

The fact that occurs is that the work culture within the Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung is not working well, as can be seen from the attitude of employees who are less aggressive in achieving organizational goals, reluctant to show their best performance in contributing to the agency. Other problems related to human resource development are still not optimal. This indicates that training activities are still minimal both in terms of the number of technical training and employee participation. Looking at and observing the problems of work culture and human resource development as described above, it is reasonable to suspect that the accumulation of these problems has contributed to weak employee performance. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work culture and human resource development on employee performance. The hypothesis in this research is that there is an influence of work culture and human resource development, either partially or simultaneously, on employee performance. The sample in this study consisted of 54 employees. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis method uses a quantitative approach with the help of SPSS version 21.0 statistical tools including calculation of validity tests, reliability tests, simple and multiple linear regression tests, t tests, F tests and coefficient of determination tests. The results of hypothesis testing show that work culture partially has a positive influence on employee performance with a contribution of 56.2%. Human resource development has a positive influence on performance with a contribution of 50.4%. Simultaneous hypothesis testing shows that work culture and human resource development together have a positive influence on performance with a contribution of 62.3%, while the remaining 37.7% is a variation of other variables outside this research.
