Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar in the formation of digital intelligence, a crucial aspect in today's era of rapid technological transformation. When curriculum and teaching methods are integrated with information and communication technologies, students are equipped with the tools and knowledge to adapt, compete and innovate in an increasingly complex and connected society. This study uses the literature research method. The results show that the use of technology in education, in general, has a positive influence on increasing students' learning motivation, concept understanding, and problem-solving skills. Technology integration facilitates more interactive and personalized learning methods, encouraging deeper student engagement in the subject matter. However, the study also revealed that the success of technology integration is highly dependent on device accessibility and connectivity, teacher training and adequate infrastructure support. Inequality of access is one of the main barriers, necessitating specific intervention strategies to bridge the digital divide.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the role and effectiveness of local regulations in handling domestic violence cases. The method used is a literature review. This study identified that the existence of regional regulations is very important as a legal umbrella to protect victims and provide sanctions for perpetrators of domestic violence. However, the effectiveness of local regulations is still questionable given various challenges, including the capacity of law enforcement officers, inadequate resources and infrastructure, and lack of supervision in their implementation. The results show that while local regulations have been a progressive step in addressing domestic violence, their role is often limited to the normative level and lacking in effective concrete actions. Factors such as unawareness or low knowledge of domestic violence among law enforcement officials and the community, strong social stigma, and a non-integrated referral and victim assistance system, further hinder the implementation of this policy. Therefore, a multi-sectoral approach involving cooperation across institutions and sectors of society is needed to improve the effectiveness of this regional regulation. Capacity building for law enforcers, improved support facilities for victims, intensive socialization, and systematic monitoring and evaluation strategies are needed to ensure that the regional regulation can contribute significantly to reducing domestic violence and effectively protect victims' rights.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the learning process in Indonesia, this research conducts an in-depth study of the application of persuasive communication techniques in education to encourage changes in student behavior. This study uses literature research method. The results show that the use of storytelling and personalized content in the teaching and learning process increases student engagement and helps them understand and remember the material better. In addition, non-verbal aspects of communication, such as eye contact, positive facial expressions, and supportive body gestures, are proven to play a role in increasing the effectiveness of information delivery and strengthening the emotional bond between teachers and students. The implication for education is the need for teacher development and training in persuasive communication techniques as part of professional development. This includes adopting more interactive and responsive learning methods, which not only enrich students' learning experiences but also support the development of 21st century skills such as creativity, problem-solving and cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of brand equity on consumer purchasing decisions, focusing on various dimensions such as brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand loyalty in the context of consumer behavior. The research method carried out in this study uses the literature research method. The results showed that brand equity has a significant and positive influence on consumer purchasing decisions. Brand awareness proved to be a crucial starting point in the purchase decision process, attracting consumers' attention and making them more open to information about the product or service. Perceived quality was found to be an important factor influencing consumer expectations and satisfaction, which in turn influences purchasing decisions. Brand loyalty is reinforced by consistent positive experiences, contributing to repeat purchases and word-of-mouth recommendations, which increase the long-term value of the brand in a competitive market. The findings of this study underscore that brand equity is a critical element that shapes and influences consumer purchasing decisions. Investments in brand equity strategies that focus on building awareness, maintaining positive quality perceptions, and increasing consumer loyalty can help companies not only in attracting new customers but also in retaining existing customer groups. Therefore, strategic management of the elements of brand equity is the key to improving the competitiveness and sustainability of the company in a dynamic market.

Abstract

This study demonstrates that exposing EFL students to English movies of different dialects without subtitles significantly improves their understanding of English dialects. A quasi-experimental design with 10 Indonesian university students was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the method. The treatment group's significant improvement in speaking and listening skills over the control group underscores the value of immersive and naturalistic language learning experiences. These findings suggest that incorporating non-subtitled English movies into EFL curricula can provide students with practical, real-world language exposure that enhances their linguistic and intercultural competence. Therefore, it is recommended that educators incorporate non-subtitled English movies into their teaching strategies to create engaging and authentic learning experiences, improve language comprehension, foster collaborative learning, and increase student motivation.Future research could explore the long-term effects and broader applicability of this method.

Abstract

In modern democracies, voter turnout is an important indicator of the health and legitimacy of the system. This research aims to evaluate the government's strategy in increasing voter participation through an in-depth literature review. The results show that inclusive and sustainable voter education can increase people's awareness and understanding of the electoral process and the importance of participation in voting. Voter education is effective in mobilizing younger and underrepresented groups of voters, including women and minorities. Furthermore, strategies to improve accessibility and ease of voting - such as electronic voting technology, more flexible polling location arrangements and the provision of disability-friendly facilities - have been shown to increase voter turnout. Finally, trust in the electoral system is another important factor. The analysis found that transparency of the electoral process and prompt action against indications of fraud can increase public trust, which in turn encourages higher turnout.

Abstract

Social media has revolutionized interaction patterns among teenagers, providing them with new opportunities to communicate and share experiences like never before. However, an important issue that arises is how intensive use of social media affects mental health and the development of social skills. The tendency to spend excessive time online can reduce opportunities for in-person interactions that are important for social and cognitive learning. The lack of face-to-face contact can hinder adolescents in developing empathy and non-verbal communication skills. Furthermore, constant social comparison and the search for online validation can trigger psychological distress, including self-esteem issues and anxiety. The research method in this study uses literature research method. The results show that social media provides ample opportunities for adolescents to connect socially, explore identity, and participate in online communities. However, adolescents' use of social media also poses significant challenges. In particular, findings suggest a correlation between intensive social media use and an increased risk of mental health problems such as depression and anxiety, as well as a reduction in face-to-face interactions that may affect the development of healthy social and emotional skills.

Abstract

Crisis communication is a key component of effective disaster management. This research reviews the literature related to crisis communication strategies and evaluates case studies of crisis communication in various disaster contexts. Based on the literature review, it was found that responsiveness, information accuracy, and appropriate choice of communication channels are the main pillars that support communication effectiveness in emergency situations. The application of information and communication technology, including social media, is now an integral part of delivering early warnings and evacuation instructions to the public. The analysis shows that the speed of early warning and post-disaster information delivery has a major impact on mitigating losses and accelerating the recovery process. Clarity, consistency and transparency of messages are known to increase public trust, encourage compliance with emergency instructions and reduce the risk of misinformation spreading. Two-way communication, which allows for community feedback, also plays an important role in evaluating and improving disaster management resources. Lessons learned from the case analysis show the importance of building communication capacity before a disaster strikes to improve community preparedness. Proactive education and training programs can help build community resilience before a disaster, as well as enable more informed decision-making when a crisis occurs. Such initiatives make crisis communication not only a reactive measure but also part of sustainable disaster mitigation efforts. This research provides recommendations for the development of a more integrated crisis communication strategy, adapting to the latest developments in informative technology, which is expected to strengthen disaster management in the future.
