KAMALIYAH : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam ISSN : 2987-6710 (Media Online) adalah jurnal ilmiah Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Miftahul Huda Subang Jawa Barat, yang pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 2023. Berkenaan dengan perkembangan pendidikan Islam, Redaksi mengapresiasi dan menyambut baik seluruh masyarakat khususnya akademisi, peneliti, dan pendidik untuk menyumbangkan dedikasi intelektualnya dalam bentuk artikel yang akan dimuat di jurnal ini yang asli dan belum pernah dipublikasikan di media manapun. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia, Arab, atau Inggris. Penulis perlu mendaftar ke jurnal sebelum mengirimkan atau, jika sudah terdaftar, cukup masuk dan memulai proses lima langkah. Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam akan terbit 2 edisi setiap tahunnya, yaitu pada bulan Mei dan November.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an important factor that influences students' success in understanding and mastering the subject matter. However, conventional lecture methods are often considered less effective in increasing learning motivation, because students only listen passively without much opportunity to be directly involved. Therefore, this study aims to explore the effectiveness of the interactive lecture method in increasing students' learning motivation. The interactive lecture method combines the delivery of material with participatory techniques, such as group discussions, questions and answers, case studies, and the use of visual media and interactive technology. The results of the study showed that the interactive lecture method can significantly increase student involvement, interest, and motivation. Students become more active in the learning process, so that their understanding and memory of the material also increase. Thus, the interactive lecture method is an effective alternative to increasing students' learning motivation in the classroom environment

Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas tentang inovasi pembelajaran PAI dalam membentuk kreativitas peserta didik. Pokok bahasannya meliputi model atau metode pembelajaran, gaya belajar, tantangan yang dihadapi, fasilitas pendukung dan evaluasi akhir pembelajaran. Dalam metode pembelajaran menerapkan sistem pembelajaran yang berbasis problem solving, proyek based learning dan pembelajaran diferensiasi untuk meningkatkan ide-ide kreativitas peserta didik khususnya dalam konteks keagamaan. Penggunaan multimedia visual, auditori dan kinestetik, praktek ibadah merupakan gaya belajar yang diakomodasikan. Untuk tantangannya meliputi keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, kemampuan peserta didik yang beragam dan kurangnya minat anak. Fasilitas pendukung yang difasilitasi yaitu penambahan jam pembelajaran PAI. Evaluasi akhir melalui hasil penilaian PTS dan asesmen evaluasi praktek.

Abstract

Manajemen  pendidikan  Islam  berbasis  akhlakul  karimah  berperan  penting  dalam menciptakan  lingkungan pendidikan  yang  Islami  dan  berorientasi  pada  pembentukan  karakter  siswa.  Pendekatan  ini  menekankan pengintegrasian nilai-nilai moral dan etika Islam dalam seluruh aspek pendidikan, termasuk kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, kualitas pendidik, lingkungan pendidikan, dan sistem pembiayaan. Kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dirancang agar relevan dengan perkembangan zaman melalui integrasi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Metode pembelajaran interaktif dan kreatif, seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penggunaan teknologi pendidikan, mendukung pemahaman siswa sekaligus membentuk akhlak mulia. Peningkatan kualitas pendidik dilakukan melalui pelatihan rutin dan pengembangan kompetensi dalam mengimplementasikan metode berbasis akhlakul karimah. Lingkungan pendidikan Islami diwujudkan melalui penyediaan  fasilitas  memadai,  pembiasaan  ibadah,  dan  pembentukan  budaya  sekolah  Islami.  Selain  itu, pembiayaan pendidikan Islam yang transparan, akuntabel, dan sesuai syariat, didukung oleh inovasi seperti wakaf  produktif  dan  crowdfunding  Islam,  menjadi  solusi  strategis  dalam  keberlanjutan  pendidikan  Islam. Dengan pendekatan holistik ini, manajemen pendidikan Islam berbasis akhlakul karimah diharapkan mampu menghasilkan generasi beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia yang siap menghadapi tantangan era modern

Abstract

Di era digital yang serba cepat ini, anak muda menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mempertahankan keimanan mereka. Salah satunya adalah perjuangan dalam menjaga konsistensi ibadah, terutama shalat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi pengingat sholat terhadap kedisiplinan dan amanah dalam beribadah. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada, aplikasi pengingat sholat menjadi alat yang cukup umum digunakan oleh umat Islam dalam membantu mereka menjaga jadwal sholatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei yang melibatkan sejumlah responden aktif yang menggunakan aplikasi pengingat sholat, serta analisis kualitatif terhadap aplikasi pengingat sholat yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pengingat sholat dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam membantu anak muda untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya sholat dan memperdalam pemahaman tentang agama. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya hubungan antara penggunaan aplikasi dengan peningkatan rasa amanah dalam menjalankan ibadah secara keseluruhan. Implikasinya dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi secara bijak dan mendukung praktik keagamaan. Dengan demikian, aplikasi pengingat sholat berpotensi menjadi salah satu solusi inovatif dalam upaya meningkatkan keimanan anak muda di zaman sekarang.

Abstract

The balance of life in the world and the hereafter is a behavior that must be applied in daily life. This study aims to explore the application of the balance between worldly and spiritual life by the millennial generation. In today's modern era, full of material orientation and practical lifestyles, many young people tend to ignore the religious dimension in their daily lives. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to gain in-depth understanding through in-depth interviews, observations, and review of relevant literature to strengthen the data obtained. The findings show that some millennials are starting to build awareness to balance worldly achievements with spiritual responsibilities. This can be seen from participation in religious-social activities, time management between work and worship, and utilization of digital media to spread positive messages. This study suggests that fostering spiritual values should receive attention from families, educational institutions and the surrounding environment and strive to achieve a balance of worldly and afterlife life in the millennial generation. Abstract

Islamic education has a strategic role in shaping the character and behavior of students to be in harmony with universal values that uphold peace, justice, and humanity. In the modern context, mainstreaming anti-violence values and Human Rights (HAM) has become an urgent need in Islamic education design. This paper aims to formulate the concept of Islamic education design that has anti-violence insight and upholds human rights, with an integrative approach between Islamic teachings and universal human rights principles. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature studies on primary and secondary sources, both from Islamic and international human rights perspectives. The results of the study show that Islam essentially teaches the values of love, justice, tolerance, and respect for the right to life and human dignity. Ideal Islamic education design should internalize these values in curriculum, learning methods, and educational culture. Thus, Islamic education not only becomes a means of forming knowledge and faith, but also becomes a cultural foundation for creating a generation that rejects violence and upholds human rights. The implementation of this design requires the involvement of all education stakeholders collaboratively and sustainably.

Abstract

The article analyses the influence of Imam al-Ghazali’s (450-505/1058-1111) religious ideals in the Malay Basin particularly through his works Ihyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn, Mi‘rāj al-Sālikīn, Bidāyah al-Hidāyah, Ma‘ārij al-Quds fī Madārij Ma‘rifat al-Nafs, al-Mustasfa and al-Madnun bihi ‘ala Ghayr Ahlih. The highly charged and popularity of his works come from various forms of its translated versions in the hand of Malay theologians working on its elucidation such as Sayr al-Sālikīn and Hidāyah al-Sālikīn by ‘Abd al-Samad al-Falimbani (1704-1789) and concise translation of Minhāj al-‘Ābidīn by Shaykh Daud al-Fatani. The paper situates his works in the wider context of Sunni-Islam held by the Malays and its burgeoning cultural and intellectual tradition, far-reaching intensity of activism and da‘wah and idealism widely disseminated in the regions. The study is based on qualitative method in the form of library and literature survey using inductive and deductive method. Data and materials were derived from selected primary and secondary sources and analysed by way of descriptive, analytical, empirical, hermeneutical and historical approaches. The finding reveals that the nuances of al-Ghazali’s corpus were well articulated in the Malay world developed through compelling theological and philosophical works that defend its significance values, norms, legality, ethics, metaphysics, logic and virtues and its classic synthesis of shariah and tasawuf and its spiritual illumination and articulation in the mozaic of contemporary Malay worldview and tradition.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 requires education that is human-centered while meaningfully utilizing digital technology. Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in many institutions still faces challenges such as one-way instruction, varying levels of teachers’ digital literacy, and curricula not yet integrated with contemporary needs. This study aims to formulate an innovative IRE model relevant to Society 5.0 through a systematic literature review and content analysis to map key themes, gaps, and implications for reform. The synthesis produces an integrated design based on three theoretical foundations: social constructivism, heutagogy, and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). The model is embodied in three pillars: digital transformation of learning, value- and digital-manners-based learning, and project-based learning that links scriptural principles with real-world issues.  Evaluation  is  conducted  authentically  through  layered  assessments,  including  cognitive  tests, collaboration  records,  platform  analytics,  and  learners’  reflective  journals.  The  integration  of  theory, technology, and character enhances the relevance and effectiveness of learning, provided that teacher capacity, ethical  data  governance,  and  minimum  infrastructure  are  strengthened.  This  model  offers  a  measurable roadmap  for  reorienting  Islamic  Religious  Education  toward  contextual,  humanistic,  and  transformative learning

Abstract

This article discusses the concept and application of Sharia-based solutions for environmental preservation according to Islamic teachings. The study aims to explore Islamic values as the foundation of ecological ethics in addressing environmental crises caused by overexploitation and low human awareness. The research uses a qualitative method through library research by analyzing Qur’anic verses, Hadiths, and fiqhul bi’ah (Islamic environmental jurisprudence). The findings reveal that Islam positions humans as khalifah fil ardh (stewards on earth) with moral and spiritual responsibilities to protect the planet. The principles of khalifah, mizan, and amanah serve as ethical foundations for maintaining ecological balance and sustainability. Islam also provides practical solutions such as maintaining taharah (cleanliness), avoiding israf (wastefulness), and promoting environmental education based on monotheism. In conclusion, Islamic teachings offer a comprehensive spiritual and moral framework for fostering ecological awareness and human responsibility toward environmental preservation.

Abstract

The plural social reality of Indonesia demands that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) develop religious competencies that are more dialogical, tolerant, and adaptive to diversity. However, various studies indicate that PAI is still dominated by a normative-doctrinal paradigm and therefore has not been able to adequately respond to the dynamics of pluralism. This article critically analyzes how inclusive theology can be recontextualized within PAI as an alternative approach to addressing the challenges of religious pluralism. This study employs a literature review method by examining recent scholarly works to identify developments in theories of pluralism, inclusive theology, and PAI learning. The findings reveal that inclusive theology offers a theological foundation for strengthening religious moderation, interreligious literacy, and dialogical pedagogy as a new framework for PAI. Thus, recontextualizing PAI through an inclusive theological perspective becomes urgent through curriculum reformulation, pedagogical revitalization, and the strengthening of teacher competencies. These findings contribute to the development of a more humanistic PAI paradigm capable of nurturing diversity within Indonesia’s multicultural context.
