Abstract

This research aims to analyze the basis of investigators' considerations in using restorative justice as a resolution mechanism for child sexual abuse cases at the Metro City Police Resort. The research employed normative and empirical juridical approaches. Primary and secondary data were collected through literature reviews and field studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively to draw conclusions aligned with the issues discussed. The findings indicate that the investigators' considerations in resolving child sexual abuse cases are based on juridical, philosophical, and sociological foundations. Juridically, the Metro City Police Resort refers to Article 16 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 2 of 2002 on the Indonesian National Police regarding discretion and Police Regulation No. 8 of 2021 on the Handling of Criminal Acts Based on Restorative Justice. Philosophically, the application of restorative justice in such cases is rooted in the principles of substantive justice and the protection of human rights, particularly for vulnerable child victims. Sociologically, restorative justice in this context considers the circumstances of the perpetrator and the victim, as well as the impact caused by the crime. To ensure the perpetrator fulfills their obligations, the police must monitor the implementation of agreements made during the restorative justice process. This monitoring is crucial to prevent recidivism by the perpetrator and ensure the victim receives ongoing protection and recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of coding learning at SDN Pandean Lamper 05 using an innovative game-based approach through the “code.org” platform. The research team provided a course specifically designed for 3rd-grade elementary students with an appropriate difficulty level. The course includes various interactive learning stages in the form of games such as puzzles, robots, squirrels, and Angry Birds, designed to introduce basic coding concepts in an enjoyable way. The course type used is Course A, which is part of the introductory material available on the “code.org” platform. The results indicate that the game-based approach successfully increases students’ interest and understanding of basic programming concepts. Through this method, students were more motivated to complete the given challenges and were able to think logically and creatively in solving problems. This study recommends the broader implementation of game-based coding learning to enhance technology literacy among elementary school students.

Abstract

The history of Indonesia's constitution has gone through various stages of development. Each stage introduced a distinctive model of state governance. However, due to past traumas, particularly from the New Order's misuse of the constitution to support its centralistic and authoritarian power, the idea of amending the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945) emerged. The development of Indonesia's constitution can be categorized into several periods. The first period was the implementation of the 1945 Constitution, followed by the second period under the 1949 Constitution of the Republic of the United States of Indonesia (Konstitusi RIS 1949). The third period saw the enactment of the 1950 Provisional Constitution (UUDS 1950), and the fourth period marked the reinstatement of the 1945 Constitution along with its explanatory notes. Subsequently, the 1945 Constitution was amended successively in 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002, using the version effective from July 5, 1959, as the standard for revisions outside the main text, which later became an inseparable appendix to the 1945 Constitution. Amending the constitution is undoubtedly not a simple task. The constitution serves as the primary design of the state, regulating fundamental and strategic matters, including the structure of power, the relationships among state organs, and human rights. The process of amending the 1945 Constitution was carried out in four stages. These amendments faced criticism for various shortcomings, prompting the idea of forming a Constitutional Commission to address these issues and assist with future amendments. Almost all countries undergoing transitions to democracy consider constitutional reform an integral part of their political renewal. Constitutional reform is seen as so crucial that its presence is deemed necessary. It is not always clear when a country in transition begins its constitutional reform. According to various literature on democratic transitions, the experiences of countries in this regard vary widely. For instance, the Philippines initiated constitutional reform by establishing a constitutional commission tasked with drafting a new constitution shortly after President Marcos was overthrown and the new administration under Cory Aquino was established This article aims to explore the development of Indonesia's constitution from the early days of independence to the constitutional reforms following the New Order era, as well as an analysis of the results of the amendments to the 1945

Abstract

Managing K-POP music playback is often done manually or using basic applications that are not specifically designed for this purpose. This process can be inefficient and prone to errors, especially when dealing with a large music catalog, including songs, albums, and artists. Additionally, the lack of an integrated system makes it difficult for users to search and play songs efficiently, such as finding tracks by album, artist, or specific themes. With the growing global popularity of K-POP, the need for a reliable and structured system to manage music playback has become increasingly important. This study introduces SIMUSIK (Music Management Information System), a system designed to simplify the management of K-POP music data and playback. SIMUSIK allows for the structured recording of song, album, and artist data while supporting direct music playback through a user-friendly interface. Users can quickly search for songs based on artist, album, or other categories, creating a more organized and efficient music playback experience. Specifically designed to meet the needs of K-POP fans, SIMUSIK offers features such as catalog management, playlist creation, and grouping songs by album or artist. By addressing the inefficiencies of manual methods, this system ensures faster and more accurate access to music data and playback functionality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in the information era and identify the role of civil society in supporting the strengthening of these values. In addition, this study also aims to reveal the obstacles faced in the implementation of Pancasila amidst the development of information technology and formulate effective strategies to integrate Pancasila values with the dynamics of digitalization in order to realize a just, harmonious, and dignified society. It can be concluded that the implementation of Pancasila values in the information era is very important to maintain national integrity and strengthen social cohesion amidst the flow of globalization. Pancasila, as the foundation of the state, remains relevant and must be implemented consistently to ensure that technological developments do not erode national values and national morality. The information era presents challenges in the form of the spread of hoaxes, social polarization, and threats to individual privacy, which require a wise response based on the principles of Pancasila. The implementation of Pancasila values in the digital era must be supported by various parties, including the government, society, and the private sector. The government plays an important role in creating policies that ensure technology is used for the benefit of society, and protect the basic rights of every individual, especially in terms of privacy and access to information. Society also needs to develop digital literacy that prioritizes media ethics and social awareness, so that technology can be used to strengthen the sense of unity and social justice in Indonesia.
