Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of (1) social media on business success (2) self-efficacy on business success (3) social media and self-efficacy simultaneously on business success. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The population in this study is the UMKM actors in Pelanggiran Laut Tador Village, totaling 30 UMKM actors. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling technique which makes all members of the population as research samples. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Analytical tools: instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test and f-test using SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that social media partially has no effect on business success, self-efficacy partially affects business success and based on the simultaneous results that social media and self-efficacy influence business success.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of ease of transactions and discounts on customer loyalty and its impact on customer satisfaction with Dana users. This research was conducted on Dana users at the Kanaya Mobile & Brilink Store located in Sei Rampah, Serdang Bedagai. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research sample consisted of 96 respondents with sampling techniques using techniques purposive sampling. Research data was obtained using a Google Form questionnaire. The data analysis method uses the path analysis method with the help of the SPSS Statistics 25 analysis program. The research results show that: 1). Ease of transactions has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. 2). Discounts do not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. 3). Ease of transactions has a significant effect on customer loyalty. 4). Discounts have a significant effect on customer loyalty. 5). Customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty. 6). Satisfaction customers have an impact on the ease of transactions on customer loyalty 7). Customer satisfaction does not have an impact on discounts on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of brand image and social media marketing on purchasing decisions with purchase interest as an intervening variable (Case Study of Geprek Bp7 in Tebing Tinggi City). This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research population includes Geprek BP7 customers in Tebing Tinggi City. The research sample consisted of 66 respondents. The sampling method uses the probability sampling method. Research data uses primary data sources. Data was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis method uses the path analysis method. The results of the analysis show that brand image influences purchasing interest in geprek bp7, Tebing Tinggi City, social media marketing influences purchasing interest, brand image influences purchasing decisions, social media marketing influences purchasing decisions, purchasing interest influences purchasing decisions, purchasing interest can mediating the relationship between brand image and purchasing decisions and purchasing interest can mediate the relationship between social media marketing and purchasing decisions at Geprek BP7, Tebing Tinggi City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of privacy, security and trust on online purchasing decisions on Shopee E-Commerce among the people of Pematang Kuing Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency. The population in this research is all Shopee consumers who live in Pematang Kuing Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency with a sample of 43 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis on the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this research show that partially privacy does not have a significant effect on the purchasing decisions of the people of Pematang Kuing Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency. Meanwhile, security and trust have a significant influence on the purchasing decisions of the people of Pematang Kuing Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency. Based on a simultaneous test, privacy, security and trust together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the people of Pematang Kuing Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency.

Abstract

The e-commerce business is growing and developing rapidly in Indonesia, the high interest in online shopping in the community has made a lot of new e-commerce pop up in Indonesia. One of the largest e-commerce providers in Indonesia is Shopee. Flash sale programs and free shipping promos make Shopee one of the most popular online platforms in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how the effect of flash sale and free shipping promos on purchasing decisions of e-commerce Shopee. This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique and use 65 respondents as samples. The primary data used in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires via google form, while the secondary data were obtained through a literature study. The data analysis method used the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The results of the research conducted showed that the flash sale variable (X1) did not significantly influence purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the variable free shipping promo (X2) has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, however, the flash sale and free shipping promo variables simultaneously (simultaneously) affect purchasing decisions (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between flash sales and free shipping promos on purchasing decisions with an R-value of 0,836. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the flash sale variable and free shipping promo contributed 69% to the purchasing decision variable, while the remaining 31% was explained by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Business is an economic activity in which goods and services are produced, bought or sold  for  maximum  profit.  The  profit  of  a  business  is  influenced  by  many  factors,  namely, operational costs, production costs, product selling prices, sales volume, demand and others. The purpose of this study is how to analyze the application of the derivative concept based on the maximum profit that can be obtained by UMKM Keripik Dewi. as for calculating the maximum profit, several steps are taken, namely: (1) The steps for applying the derivatives, and in this step are divided into (a) the formulation of several necessary variables, (b) carrying out the preparation of mathematical models, (c) completing the calculation of mathematical models, (2) the company getting the profit on only three products. Made, so that this company has not fully obtained the maximum profit that has the potential to be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of price, location and service quality on customer satisfaction at the 225 Doorsmer Motorcycle Wash in Tebing Tinggi City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research population includes consumers at Amanda Brownies Tebing Tinggi City Branch. The research sample consisted of 37 respondents. The sampling method uses the total sampling method. Research data uses primary data sources. Data was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning the price variable influences the customer satisfaction variable, the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning the location variable influences the customer satisfaction variable, the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning the service quality variable influences the customer satisfaction variable, and the fourth hypothesis is accepted, meaning price, location and service quality influence simultaneously (simultaneously) on the customer satisfaction variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on job satisfaction with motivation as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this study is employees of PT. Tiga Mutiara Nusantara Molding Section in Dolok Merawan District totaling 53 people. The results of the study show that hypothesis 1 is accepted, namely Compensation (X) affects the Work Motivation variable (Z), the second hypothesis is accepted, namely Compensation (X) affects the Job Satisfaction variable (Y) and the third hypothesis is accepted, namely Work Motivation (Z) affects the Job Satisfaction variable (Y). The indirect influence through the Work Motivation variable (Z) is smaller than the direct influence on the Job Satisfaction variable (Y) which means that Work Motivation cannot act as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, leadership and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sumber Palm Makmur. The research method used is a quantitative method using SPSS version 25.00 which was collected from the results of distributing questionnaires to employees at PT. Sumber Palm Makmur. The analytical method used in this research is using instrument tests, namely validity and reliability tests. Classic assumption tests are normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), hypothesis tests namely T test and F test. The results of SPSS in this research are that the work environment influences job satisfaction, leadership influences on job satisfaction, compensation has no effect on job satisfaction, work environment, leadership, and compensation have a simultaneous effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of word of mouth variables, service quality and product quality on purchasing decisions at Lims Cafe, Tebing Tinggi City. This research is a quantitative research with 96 respondents. Data analysis using SPSS software with the results of this research showing partial hypothesis test results for each variable, namely word of mouth, service quality and product quality on purchasing decisions at Lims Cafe, Tebing City. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results show word of mouth, service quality and product quality simultaneously influence purchasing decisions at Lims Cafe, Tebing Tinggi City.
