Abstract

Curriculum development in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject plays a crucial role in shaping students' critical and analytical thinking abilities. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) on curriculum development, particularly in the context of learning Al-Qur'an and Hadith at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level. The research employs a qualitative method within a descriptive research framework. The findings indicate that the integration of IPTEK in learning has a positive impact on students. The diversity of learning resources, involving not only books but also technology, makes the learning process more engaging and effective. Teachers have successfully integrated the foundations of science and technology with curriculum development in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject, as evidenced by student testimonials stating that the use of technology significantly aids the learning process. The implications of this study are for educators and curriculum developers to continue expanding the integration of IPTEK in teaching to enhance the quality of education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Keywords: Curriculum Development, Science and Technology, Islamic Religious Education, Al-Qur'an Hadith, Madrasah Tsanawiyah   Abstrak: Pengembangan kurikulum pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) terhadap pengembangan kurikulum, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dan Hadis di tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan kerangka penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi IPTEK dalam pembelajaran memiliki dampak positif terhadap siswa. Keanekaragaman sumber belajar, yang melibatkan tidak hanya buku tetapi juga teknologi, membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan efektif. Guru telah berhasil menggabungkan dasar-dasar ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dengan pengembangan kurikulum pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh kesaksian siswa yang menyatakan bahwa penggunaan teknologi sangat membantu proses pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bagi para pendidik dan pengembang kurikulum untuk terus memperluas integrasi IPTEK dalam pengajaran, guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Abstract

The curriculum, as a system consisting of four main components, namely objectives, content, learning activities (teaching process), and evaluation (evaluation component), is an integral part of the education system. Psychology plays a crucial role in the development of school curricula, as it considers psychological aspects in the learning process. This study focuses on the psychological foundation of the Islamic Education curriculum (PAI). The research method used is literature review, which involves collecting data from various sources such as journals, books, and conference proceedings focusing on psychology and education. The development of the PAI curriculum should be responsive to students' development, including the achievement of competencies and the implementation of effective teaching methods. The PAI curriculum should be designed by considering students' psychological needs to provide an effective learning experience. This involves a deep understanding of how students learn and how they engage with learning materials. By considering psychological foundations, the curriculum can be designed to facilitate more effective and relevant learning for students. Additionally, the role of the social environment, family support, and individual motivation are also important factors to be considered in the development of the PAI curriculum to create a conducive learning environment for students. Keywords: Character Education, Islamic Education Curriculum (PAI Curriculum), Islamic Education Subject, Psychology.   Abstrak: Kurikulum, sebagai suatu sistem yang terdiri dari empat komponen utama, yakni tujuan, isi (materi/konten), kegiatan pembelajaran (proses pembelajaran), dan evaluasi (komponen evaluasi), merupakan bagian integral dari dunia pendidikan. Psikologi memiliki peran yang krusial dalam pengembangan kurikulum sekolah, karena mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek psikologis dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini fokus pada landasan psikologis dari kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal, buku, dan hasil konferensi yang berfokus pada psikologi dan pendidikan. Penyusunan kurikulum PAI haruslah responsif terhadap perkembangan siswa, termasuk pencapaian kompetensi dan penerapan metode pembelajaran yang efektif. Kurikulum PAI haruslah dirancang dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan psikologis siswa agar dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang efektif. Hal ini melibatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana siswa belajar dan bagaimana mereka menghadapi materi pelajaran. Dengan mempertimbangkan landasan psikologis, kurikulum dapat dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan relevan bagi siswa. Selain itu, peran lingkungan sosial, dukungan keluarga, dan motivasi individu juga merupakan faktor penting yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pengembangan kurikulum PAI agar dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif bagi siswa. Abstract

Education financing is crucial for supporting operational needs, staff salaries, employee welfare, improving the teaching and learning process, maintaining and acquiring facilities and infrastructure, enhancing student guidance, improving teacher professional development, educational administration, and supervision. The quality of the teaching and learning process can be enhanced when the set objectives meet the necessary requirements. However, the education sector in Indonesia faces various serious issues, including inadequate budget allocation from the government. This research aims to describe the practices and identify effective education financing management to enhance access and the quality of education in MTs Sains Qurani Azzakiyyah. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review for data collection. The results indicate that effective education financing management involves optimizing the use of available funds, allocating budgets efficiently, and distributing resources to support an effective learning process. Key findings include specific strategies implemented at MTs Sains Qurani Azzakiyyah that led to significant improvements in educational quality and accessibility. Optimal management of educational costs is essential for achieving high standards in school quality.

Abstract

The phenomenon of juvenile misconduct, such as fighting and truancy, indicates a deficiency in religious values among students, reflected in the imbalance of emotional and intellectual intelligence influenced by spirituality. This study addresses the issue by implementing a constructivist approach, requiring students to actively engage and independently construct knowledge, enhancing retention. The research aims to examine the implementation of the constructivist approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and its impact on student participation and understanding of religious values. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, this study investigates the effectiveness of the constructivist approach in improving student engagement and comprehension in PAI. Key findings indicate that the constructivist approach significantly enhances both student participation and understanding of religious values. These results imply that integrating constructivist methods in PAI can foster a more profound and lasting understanding of religious teachings among students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the assumption that developments in technology, information and communication can encourage positive changes in the field of education. Moreover, technology, information, and communication can also encourage the development of electronic-based learning concepts. The purpose of the research is to analyze and describe the students' responses to the use of technology, information, and communication assisted by live worksheet media on learning outcomes in PAI lessons at school. This research design is exploratory and using descriptive method. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire in the form of statements. The data analysis technique uses a quantitative approach. The results of the research show that the average student response is 77% in the good category. An important finding of the research is the use of technology, information, and communication through Live Worksheet media has proven to be able to be used as an alternative for fun learning. The implication of the research is every student needs to be given the same opportunity to develop in the learning process and it is also needed to be more comprehensive study to examine the student’s responses to learning through using liveworksheet media in PAI learning at school.

Abstract

Advances in technology and information in the 21st century, known as progress 4.0, have indirectly changed human perspectives and thought patterns towards digitalization. Education seeks to shape humans into perfection, who master religious values ??and implement them in life. In fact, education today must be carefully scrutinized so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally. The involvement of students in the learning process determines the achievement of learning objectives, so teachers must encourage students with the various methods used so that the material can be easily absorbed by students. The method used in this research is literature study, where the researcher collects material sourced from books, journals and other references that are relevant to the subject matter and then analyzed from various points of view which allows the creation of new understanding in accordance with the research. The results obtained in this research are that the strategy for involving students to be active in the learning process is by providing motivation both personally and in groups which is implemented into learning styles and learning models so that students can first understand the material that will be discussed. With cooperative learning, the communication carried out not only hones intellectual abilities but also creates better emotional intelligence in a study group.

Abstract

The importance of creative teaching methods has become a focal point in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the impact of the mind mapping model on the creativity of students in PAI Hajj and Umrah materials. Utilizing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest methodology, the research involved 26 ninth-grade students from Daarut Tauhiid Junior High School, Bandung, in the 2022-2023 academic year. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Findings revealed a significant increase in the average learning outcomes, with a difference score of 14.00 between pretest and posttest results, and a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating a positive effect of the mind mapping model on student creativity. These results underscore the potential of mind mapping in fostering creativity and improving educational outcomes in Islamic Religious Education. The implications suggest that educators should consider incorporating mind mapping techniques to enhance student engagement and learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning materials are often perceived as monotonous and unengaging, reducing student interest and learning effectiveness. In this context, the development of more interactive and relevant materials is essential to enhance the quality of education. This study aims to explore the role and impact of developing IRE learning materials on the quality of teaching and learning processes. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature study design, where content analysis was conducted on relevant sources to collect data about current IRE teaching practices and their potential for development. Findings indicate that the development of innovative materials tailored to the needs and local contexts of students can improve understanding and motivation to learn. The implications of this study are directed towards educators and policymakers in religious education, who are expected to integrate new approaches into the curriculum and teaching methods of IRE, thereby bringing about positive changes in religious education in schools.   Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Learning Material Development, Education Quality, Educational Innovation, Learning Motivation   Abstrak: Materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) seringkali dianggap monoton dan kurang menarik, sehingga mengurangi minat dan efektivitas belajar siswa. Dalam konteks ini, pengembangan materi yang lebih interaktif dan relevan sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dan dampak pengembangan materi pembelajaran PAI terhadap kualitas proses belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi literatur, di mana analisis konten dilakukan pada sumber-sumber yang relevan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang praktik pengajaran PAI saat ini dan potensi pengembangannya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan materi inovatif yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan konteks lokal siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar. Abstract

The development of electronic teaching materials for Ahlak (moral education) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is essential to facilitate the understanding of Ahlak concepts in a more interactive and engaging manner for students. This study aims to design and develop effective electronic teaching materials by utilizing information technology to enrich the learning process. The research methodology used is a literature study, which includes a critical analysis of literature related to the development of electronic teaching materials and Ahlak theories. The findings indicate that the use of electronic teaching materials can enhance students' engagement and understanding of Ahlak by providing more dynamic and interactive content. This development allows students to learn at their own pace, access learning materials from various devices, and gain a deeper understanding of moral and ethical values. The implications of this research highlight the need for integrating technology into moral education and propose innovative approaches in designing relevant and engaging teaching materials. The study also identifies several limitations, such as technology accessibility and challenges in measuring the effectiveness of learning. Future development prospects include the adoption of similar approaches by other educational institutions and regular evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of electronic teaching materials.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in the modern era faces challenges in developing students' deep understanding and critical thinking skills. Traditional approaches that focus on memorization are considered less effective in achieving 21st century educational goals. Therefore, a more innovative approach is needed, one of which is the constructivist approach, which emphasizes students' active involvement in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the application of constructivist approach in PAI learning and its benefits for improving the quality of students' understanding and critical thinking skills. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach. Data were collected from various academic literatures related to constructivist approach and its implementation in PAI learning. The results showed that the constructivist approach can be applied in PAI learning to increase student engagement, deepen concept understanding, and develop a more critical and reflective mindset. Therefore, the implementation of this approach needs to be supported by more interactive and experiential learning strategies to make PAI learning more effective and relevant to the needs of students in the digital era.
