Abstract

This study is based on the urgency of integrating a sociocultural approach in the design of lesson plans (RPP) for Al-Quran Hadith material, considering the socio-cultural diversity and social organization backgrounds of students. The objective of this research is to analyze the extent to which Al-Quran Hadith subject teachers at SMA IT Asy-Syakur implement a sociocultural approach in their lesson plans based on a critical review. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection techniques included documentation studies, observations, and interviews. The findings reveal that the majority of teachers still view the creation of lesson plans as an annual routine for school accreditation purposes. This indicates the need for a firm attitude and strong managerial principles from the school principal as a supervisor. However, in teaching practice, Al-Quran Hadith subject teachers have implemented sociocultural-based learning by using their own personalities as concrete examples. These findings highlight the importance of managerial support and enhancing teachers' competencies to optimize the integration of the sociocultural approach in learning.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in Islamic Religious Education at SMAN 1 Sindangbarang and its implications for the development of students' critical thinking skills. A qualitative study with a descriptive approach was conducted, involving the School Principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students as research subjects. The findings indicate that CTL effectively enhances the efficiency of teaching and learning activities and improves students' critical thinking abilities. However, certain aspects need improvement. It is essential to clearly outline the research limitations to help readers understand the context and generalize the findings. The data analysis should be elaborated in more detail to enhance the validity of the results. Additionally, the challenges identified should be specified more clearly, and proposed solutions need to be presented comprehensively. The effectiveness of learning measurement using the CTL concept should be supported by more concrete and measurable data. Furthermore, the findings should be linked to the national curriculum and educational standards to strengthen the relevance of the results. The implications for enhancing teacher professionalism should be detailed, encompassing specific steps taken by the school. Practical recommendations to address challenges and strengthen the implementation of CTL need to be clearly outlined, with encouragement to explore the impact of CTL implementation in a broader context.

Abstract

As society continues to evolve, the consistent growth of information and communication technology (ICT) has become imperative, particularly in the realm of education. The incorporation of ICT into educational systems is now a necessity, even within Islamic religious education, where it can significantly enhance the learning experience. This study aims to analyze the role and impact of ICT in Islamic religious education. Utilizing a qualitative approach through library research, the study explores the importance and implications of ICT in this context. Key findings reveal that while ICT facilitates learning and improves educational outcomes, it also presents certain challenges, particularly for those less adept at using technology. The study highlights the need for comprehensive training for educators and students to effectively integrate ICT into the curriculum. Furthermore, the research underscores the importance of developing tailored ICT solutions that address the unique needs of Islamic religious education. The continuous advancement of ICT necessitates its adoption in education to ensure that learning processes remain relevant and effective. This research contributes to ongoing discussions about the integration of technology in education, emphasizing its critical role in enhancing Islamic religious education while addressing potential barriers to its effective implementation.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of the Student Council (OSIS) in supporting school activities and developing relevant programs to enhance student achievement at SMA Islam Progresif Daarussalaam. It aims to illustrate how optimizing OSIS's role can improve academic performance and develop school programs. The qualitative research employs a case study approach involving in-depth interviews with OSIS members, teachers, and school staff, and thematic data analysis. The research design includes data collection from various OSIS activities, such as routine programs, Islamic and National holiday commemorations, and both external and internal events. Key findings indicate that OSIS significantly bridges students with school administration, facilitating effective communication, and developing programs that meet student needs, thereby enhancing academic performance and fostering leadership skills, responsibility, and discipline. The findings underscore the importance of good coordination between OSIS and school administration for program success, reinforcing student engagement theory and highlighting the importance of institutional support. This research contributes to the literature and knowledge in educational management and student organization development, providing insights into how active student involvement and institutional support can enhance student achievement and character development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Aqidah Akhlak curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah using philosophical, theological, psychological, and sociocultural foundations. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a thematic approach in teaching moral and faith values. This study employs content analysis methodology and interviews with teachers as the research design. The findings indicate that the thematic approach aids students in understanding and recalling moral principles, but there are shortcomings in practical application and comprehensive evaluation. Key findings suggest that improvements in teacher training and the use of information technology can enhance the effectiveness of this curriculum. The implications of this study contribute to Islamic education literature by highlighting the importance of a more integrated and adaptive approach in teaching religious values at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of learning theories within the perspective of Islamic teachings, emphasizing the convergence between religious values and modern teaching methods. In the current educational context, integrating religious approaches with contemporary learning strategies is increasingly important for building a moral and spiritual foundation in students. This research employs a qualitative methodology with an in-depth library research approach. The analyzed literature includes relevant journals, books, and official documents. The key findings reveal that Islamic teaching methods, such as hiwar (dialogue), qishah (stories), and amtsal (analogies), are effective in enhancing student understanding and engagement while reinforcing moral values. The implications of this study highlight the need for adaptation and implementation of Islamic teaching methods in modern educational contexts to create a more holistic and integrated approach. This research also opens opportunities for further studies focusing on the development of curriculum based on religious values that are relevant and effective in addressing the challenges of education in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the strategic management implemented by the Head of Madrasah at MA Al-Istiqomah, Sukabumi, can improve the quality of education in private madrasas. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving interviews, observations, and documentation from the head of the madrasa, teachers, and several students. The strategic management practices investigated include the formulation of vision and mission, development of strategic plans, transformational leadership, and effective resource management. The results of the study indicate that improvement in education quality at this institution can be achieved through fostering good relationships between teachers and staff, creating a conducive school environment, and enhancing overall performance. Key findings highlight that the strategic initiatives led by the head of the madrasa, such as regular monitoring and evaluation, and the inclusion of all stakeholders in the planning process, play a critical role in achieving educational objectives. These findings suggest that effective strategic management can have a significantly positive impact on the quality of education in private madrasas. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing transformational leadership, efficient resource management, and continuous evaluation to achieve higher educational goals and create a sustainable impact on educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low classroom management skills among teachers at MTs Azzainiyyah Sukabumi West Java, where classroom management is often viewed as a mere routine without optimal efforts to create a conducive learning environment. The primary objective of this research is to enhance teachers' classroom management skills through a structured clinical supervision approach. The research employs a School Action Research (SAR) method with a qualitative approach. The research design involves two cycles consisting of observation, reflection, and corrective actions on the teachers' teaching practices in the classroom. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using a qualitative analysis model. The results indicate a significant improvement in classroom management skills, from 65% in the first cycle to 80% in the second cycle. This improvement includes better emotional management of students, more effective time management, and improved control of student behavior. The implications of this study suggest that clinical supervision can be an effective tool in enhancing teachers' skills in creating a more positive and productive learning environment, particularly in Islamic-based educational settings. This research also contributes to the development of clinical supervision models in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of human resource management (HRM) in enhancing the quality of education at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman, focusing on integrating Islamic values into the management system. The objective is to evaluate how effectively HRM practices are aligned with educational goals and the community's expectations. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research gathered data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research design centered on understanding the impact of HRM practices on educational quality and spiritual development within a madrasah setting. Key findings reveal that HRM at MTs YLPI Ibaadurrahman has successfully improved the educational environment by promoting both academic and spiritual growth among staff and students. However, challenges remain in fully integrating Islamic values into HR management, particularly in performance evaluation and professional development. These findings contribute to the literature by highlighting the importance of contextualizing HRM in religious-based educational institutions. The study suggests that future research could explore mixed-method approaches to quantitatively assess the impact of HRM on educational outcomes. Limitations include the scope of the study, which was confined to one institution, and the reliance on qualitative data, which may limit generalizability. The implications of this research extend to broader educational management practices in Islamic institutions globally.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Erik Erikson's theory of social and personality development within the educational context, which is highly relevant in supporting students' holistic development. The research background is based on the importance of understanding the psychosocial development stages that individuals face throughout their lives, particularly within educational settings. The main objective of this study is to analyze how Erikson's theory can be applied by educators to support students' social, emotional, and intellectual growth. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature reviews and secondary data analysis from various scientific sources. This study is designed to deeply investigate key aspects of Erikson's theory, such as identity, collaboration, and conflict resolution, as well as how cultural values can influence individual development. The findings indicate that the application of Erikson's theory in education can help educators create learning environments that foster students' identity development, encourage collaboration, and facilitate conflict resolution. The implications of this research are significant for educators in designing a more inclusive curriculum that is responsive to students' psychosocial developmental stages while respecting their cultural diversity and social context.
