Abstract

In an increasingly connected modern era, the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology has opened new doors in social education. The researcher conducted a literature analysis of AR applications in the context of social education and identified the main benefits generated using a qualitative descriptive method through literature study.  The analysis revealed that AR enables more interactive and immersive social learning by providing realistic and interactive simulations of social situations. The benefits of AR in social education include increased student understanding of social issues, increased student engagement, and active participation in social problem solving. However, challenges such as the cost of AR application development and teacher training need to be overcome to maximize the potential of this technology. This research underscores important implications, including the development of more effective learning models, close collaboration with technology developers, and integrated curriculum planning. With a deep understanding of AR applications and their benefits, social education can face a more innovative and effective future, preparing students to play an active role in social change and solving pressing social issues

Abstract

The development of ArcGIS StoryMaps as a Digital-based Innovative Learning Media is a study that explores the potential of utilizing this digital narrative platform in improving the quality of education. In the increasingly connected and technology-based context of modern education, ArcGIS StoryMaps provides a powerful tool for visualizing and explaining information through the incorporation of maps, images, text, video and audio in the form of interactive narratives. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research used is a literature study which is research that has been done before by collecting journal books, magazines, and scientific papers that are interrelated with the problems and research objectives. The results of this study discuss the basic concepts of ArcGIS StoryMaps, the development of learning materials, implementation in learning, challenges that may be faced, as well as recommendations and guidelines for further development. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a deep insight into how the use of StoryMaps can enrich students' learning experience and improve their preparation for an increasingly connected and digital future.

Abstract

This research is development research (R&D) which aims to develop learning modules in integrated learning courses. From the practical validity test carried out, it was found that this module was categorized as good and suitable for use. And after implementation and evaluation tests, the results were obtained in the form of effective teaching modules in improving the learning outcomes of Musamus University PGPAUD students. The data collected was obtained from assessments by material experts, media experts, student response questionnaires and posttest student learning outcomes. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative and qualitative. So the conclusion is that the learning module developed has met the valid and practical criteria and has been implemented and is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the PGPAUD department at Musamus University

Abstract

This research describes the utilization of the Bing Image Creator platform in designing learning media with the theme of natural disasters in the form of animations supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Increasingly sophisticated AI technology has brought significant innovation in education, and in the context of natural disaster learning, it opens the door for educators to create more engaging, informative and adaptive learning experiences. Bing Image Creator provides access to a variety of high-quality images and illustrations that allow curriculum creators to depict in detail the phenomenon of natural disasters.  This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research uses the Bing Image Creator platform to design learning media with the theme of natural disasters in the form of animation. The results showed that the integration of AI Bing Image Creator really helped the teacher to design learning media with the theme of natural disasters in the form of animations which included floods, landslides, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, putting winds, tsunamis and earthquakes to help in the teaching and learning process. Another result is a learning media that allows students to better understand the causes, impacts and coping tactics of natural disasters, as well as increase awareness and preparedness in facing disaster threats. This article discusses the concepts and implications of using Bing Image Creator and AI in the context of natural disaster education and its impact on learning effectiveness and student understanding.

Abstract

The transfer of the capital of the country (IKN) is also a moment for Indonesia to pay more attention to the quality of education in the areas, especially the 3T areas (Front, Remote, and Abandoned), and not let the transfer of IKNs cause educational inequality in the area 3T, just because of too much focus on the development of infrastructure for economic fulfillment. Education plays an important role in producing quality human resources. On that basis, it is vital to reconstruct and reformulate the design of education, especially in the infrastructure aspects, to help realize the golden generation of this nation. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview related to the fulfillment of the educational infrastructure that must be fulfilled in the new IKN. The data collection method used is qualitative-descriptive, with literature studies to describe the meaning and conditions that occur. The results of the study describe the general fluid improvement in the quality of education in Indonesia, which is among the fastest. However, it has not been accompanied by the corruption of education in the territory of Indonesia. To consolidate the educational infrastructure, the government must be able to commit itself to solving the education problem in Indonesia because the government has a primary responsibility for advancing education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Power Point learning media on low voltage network material (Jtr) on the learning outcomes of Class XI Science students at MAN 1 Sipirok for the 2019/2020 academic year. The type of quantitative research uses quasi-experimental research methods. The population of this study was all students at MAN 1 Siprirok consisting of 9 classes with 30 students in each class. The sample for this research was class XI MAN 1 Sipirok students with a sample size of 30 people. The sampling technique uses cluster radom sampling. The instrument uses pretest and posttest. The results of this research are that student learning outcomes using power point learning media on low voltage network material in class XI IPA MAN 1 Sipirok can be categorized as successful in improving student learning outcomes. It can be seen that the learning outcomes using Power Point learning media are better than learning media where teachers only use printed books in learning activities on low voltage network material. This research has the benefit of providing a benefit by using JTR, it will increase students' creativity and learning motivation, besides that, if the next research is carried out with a different sample, the results shown will also be different. This can be seen from the various characteristics of different students which greatly influence interest and learning outcomes.

This study aims to describe articles which related to the development of learning design. It uses a meta-analysis method by using sample of 30 international articles. This meta-analysis research shows the importance of developing learning design such a developing online-offline learning media. While, the learning media which are used related to the students and learning materials’ problems. Based on the data analysis results, they are showed 80% of problems are related to the lack of students’ interest in learning, low of students’ learning outcomes and techniques used by teachers are not adequate for teaching and learning process. The results show that researchers used online media such as e-learning, e-comic, internet-based economics, and 3D animation. The using offline media like applying jigsaw and whole brain techniques. The advantages of using learning media are increasing learning outcomes, learning motivation and students’ understanding.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of understanding of the material presented by the teacher in learning. This is why the teacher took the initiative to use the contextual teaching and learning model. Contextual teaching and learning is a learning model that encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and its application in everyday life. This research shows character development based on Islamic education values based on Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah (aswaja). The purpose of this research is to find out how teachers apply and know the impact of the contextual teaching and learning model in building aswaja characteristics through Islamic religious education and ethics subjects. The research approach uses descriptive research. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the application of the contextual teaching and learning model has five steps including the following: the teacher provides a stimulus to students, students pay attention to the pictures given by the teacher, conduct exploration, namely by students discussing a problem contained in the picture, drawing conclusions from discussions that have been carried out by students, presenting the results of group discussions. The impact received is positive, because students become more active, do not feel bored, and more easily understand the material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

Learning media planning requires a deep understanding of the learning objectives to be achieved. The aim of this research is to look at and analyze the application of learning media planning to the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in State High School 2 Jakarta. The researchers used a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Data collection techniques included observations in the classroom, interviews with PAI teachers, and analysis of documentation on the use of learning media. Research results showed that learning media planning at Jakarta State High School 2 was successful in increasing student participation during learning. Taking advantage of a variety of learning methods, such as multimedia presentations, video learning, and interactive digital resources, makes the class dynamic and exciting. Students are more involved in discussions, media-based projects, and other learning activities. The use of learning media helps diversify learning approaches. To adapt to the different learning styles of students at Jakarta State High School 2, PAI teachers use kinesthetic, visual, and auditorium media. This method provides variation in the delivery of PAI material and supports students' deeper understanding of religious concepts. One of the positive results of the application of learning media planning is the improved understanding of the PAI materials by students. Hearing methods, such as discussions and presentations, and visual media help visualize the concepts of religion. Kinesthetic activities, like role-playing or simulation, add practical dimensions and hands-on experiences, enhancing a comprehensive understanding of the concept of religion.
