Abstract

The purpose of the study was to further see the fatwa position of the National Sharia’ah Council in the development of Islamic economic and business fiqh in Indonesia as well as the implementation of duties and functions of the National Sharia’ah Council. Under the applicable statutory regulations, particularly Act No. 21 Year 2008 on Sharia Banking, there is a duty for regulators in this case the Bank of Indonesia to have the charge material contained in the Fatwa MUI absorbable and transformed in formulating Sharia’ah principles in the economic and financial fields of Shariaa into payload material of the Legislation Regulations which have legal and binding powers in general. Fatwa with classical definitions undergoes development and strengthening of positions in institutionalized and collective contemporary fatwa in Indonesia. Both issued by the MUI Fatwa Commission on religious and societal matters in general, as well as those issued by the DSN-MUI or fatwa on Sharia economic issues, particularly the Sharia Economic Institution. The fatwa issued by the MUI Fatwa Commission became a generally applicable referral as well as binding to the ummah of Islam in Indonesia, particularly morally. The DSN fatwa is becoming a binding reference to the existing Shariaa’ah financial institutions (LKS) in the homeland, as well as binding to communities interacting with the LKS.

Abstract

Entering the digital era, industry players are increasingly aggressively developing digital technology. One of the technological developments that has become the subject of recent studies in Indonesia is financial technology (fintech). There are women micro- entrepreneurs who need support in development, especially capital support to improve their businesses. PT Amaan Indonesia Sejahtera (Amaan) is an integrated solution that can be accessed by women micro-entrepreneurs in the form of financial or business capital financing. Because Amaan is one of the digital-based microfinance services with an easier mechanism and has a clear commitment to empowering women in the business sector. The study aims to test the UTAUT model with moderated prior experience. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data used is a questionnaire distributed to 250 respondents via google form. The data analysis method uses descriptive statistical analysis, multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA) using the SmartPLS (v3.0) analysis tool. The results show that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions have a significant effect on the decision to use Amaan Islamic fintech financing. Prior experience as a moderating variable weakens the effect of performance expectancy and effort expectancy. Meanwhile, prior experience strengthens the influence of social influence and facilitating conditions on the decision to use Amaan Islamic fintech financing. RSquare shows that the user decision variable has a value of 0.539. This means that the ability of variable X to explain Y is 53.9% (medium), so it is said that the ability of the user decision variable to be influenced by the variables of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and prior experience is quite strong. While the remaining 46.1% is influenced by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Shopee is an application that has been available in Indonesia since 2015, providing a variety of features for its users. These include the Shopee Mall, the introduction of ShopeePay, and the launch of Shopee Live, along with rewards in the form of Shopee Coins for loyal customers. These coins can be used as discounts when purchasing products through the Shopee app. However, from the perspective of Islamic legal theory, these features are considered new and require an examination of their validity, including an analysis of the terms and conditions and the identification of the underlying mechanisms. This article focuses on exploring and describing the legal aspects of acquiring and using Shopee Coins. The research conducted for this article is based on library research methods. The author carefully examines and analyzes the information to achieve objective conclusions. The findings indicate that, firstly, the transactions involving Shopee Coin services are permissible and valid, as they meet the necessary terms and conditions. In muamalah jurisprudence, the acquisition of Shopee Coins falls under the Ju'alah contract. Secondly, the expiration period for using Shopee Coins does not impact the validity of obtaining them, since it lacks elements that could invalidate the Ju'alah contract. Nonetheless, Shopee should communicate the expiration provisions for these coins on its application page, ensuring that users are informed and do not feel disadvantaged by the policy.

Abstract

Technological developments have encouraged the rise of online thrift buying and selling practices, which are considered economical and environmentally friendly. However, this phenomenon raises ethical issues, especially related to transparency and honesty in transactions. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of the buying and selling practices carried out by the Fuka Project Store through the Shopee platform with the principles of Islamic business ethics based on the book Fiqhul Islam wa Adillatuhu by Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach and field research through observation and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the buying and selling practices in the store have reflected several principles of Islamic ethics, such as honesty, fairness, and the use of original product photos. However, there are still shortcomings in terms of product information that is not detailed enough, and the application of the principles of responsibility and transparency is not optimal. An increase in understanding and application of Islamic business ethics values is needed so that online buying and selling practices are not only valid according to sharia but also bring blessings and public trust.

Abstract

From an Islamic point of view, the murabaha financing collateral confiscation mechanism is problematic. One of the main products of Islamic banking is murabaha capital, which involves a transaction agreement with a profit agreement between the bank and the client. However, payment problems often occur in practice, which requires banks to consider collateral seizure. This study examines the Shariah principles in collateral foreclosure by relying on the Qur'an, Hadith, and fatwa appeals from the National Shariah Council (DSN). The results show that Islamic foreclosure mechanisms should be based on the principles of justice, avoiding unjust actions, and prioritizing the process of mediation and peaceful conflict resolution before resorting to the law. Forfeiture is only permitted if the customer does not show good faith in fulfilling its obligations, and must be proportional to prevent harm to either party. This study found that collateral confiscation can be applied in Shariah-compliant murabaha financing and ensures the proces  is fair and ethical according to Islamic principles.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of digitalization on management accounting transformation in manufacturing and service industries in Indonesian context. Based on qualitative-descriptive analysis, the study involves three companies from the manufacturing, financial services and digital retail sectors. From companies that have adopted digital technologies (including Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP], Artificial Intelligence [AI], the Internet of Things [IoT] and big data analytics), data were gathered through interviews, observations and analysis of documents. The results indicate that digitalization has had a radical impact on the role of management accounting in planning, forecasting, and controlling. In addition, the digitalization of systems also leads to an improvement in efficiency, transparency, and timeliness of management reporting for data-based decisions. The findings highlight the fact that digital transformation is not only relevant from the technological viewpoint, but also from the strategic one, where management accounting is positioned as a decision- making partner within the industry 4.0 paradigm.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has driven the banking sector, including BSI, to offer technology-based services such as the BYOND by BSI application. Generation Z is the main target due to their high digital engagement. However, their interest and understanding of Islamic banking remain varied, especially in Tegal City, where participation is still low despite a Muslim majority. This study analyzes the influence of digital marketing, brand image, and service quality on Generation Z’s decision to use BSI services in Tegal City. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method and associative causal type. The population comprised Generation Z aged 18–28 years, with a sample of 96 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale and analyzed through validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing with SPSS. The results indicate that digital marketing and service quality have a positive and significant effect on Generation Z’s decision to use BSI services, while brand image does not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables have a positive and significant influence. These findings suggest that strengthening digital marketing strategies and improving service quality are dominant factors in influencing young customers’ decisions.
