Abstract

Entrepreneurship Training in making Thai Tea and calculation of the cost of production is one of the efforts to provide knowledge for PKK mothers to improve nutrition or endurance as well as increase income for PKK mothers in Muara Sarana Indah housing Mulyoagung Dau Malang. This effort to improve nutrition is the responsibility of universities, especially Malang State Polytechnic in order to increase endurance by making their own processed food at a lower cost. This PKM was carried out on August 14 and 15, 2021.

Abstract

Dusun Petungsewu is one of the hamlets producing quality corn gerit. The product diversification that has been carried out is in the form of tortilla chips, which are named Dupitos (Duwet Polinema Tortilla Chips). The production is carried out by the people of Dusun Petungsewu. The potential possessed by Dusun Petungsewu by processing Dupitos is quite large. This is because Dupitos products are healthy snacks that are suitable for consumption by all ages. Currently, Dupitos' production process still uses inadequate equipment. Therefore, this service aims to donate the equipment needed in the Dupitos production process so that the production process can run smoothly. The implementation of community service programs is carried out in the form of production equipment grants, knowledge transfer, questions and answers and evaluations. The results of the service show that the procurement of production equipment in the form of a dough rolling machine and dough thinning machine facilitates the Dupitos production process. Thus, partners can work more efficiently and effectively. This service provides several benefits both in terms of quality and quantity. It is hoped that the implementation of the service can provide benefits and help both partners to improve the quality and quantity of production. Abstract

Musholla menurut arti bahasa adalah tempat shalat. Musholla adalah untuk bangunan kecil yang dipergunakan sebagai tempat sujud, tempat shalat yang dapat memberikan sedikit pernaungan dari terik panas matahari. Istilah kedua yang digunakan sebagai tempat sholat adalah masjid. Secara bahasa, masjid berasal dari kata sajada-yasjudu-sujudan, yang berarti tempat sujud dalam rangka beribadah kepada Allah Swt. atau tempat untuk mengerjakan shalat. Secara istilah, masjid mengandung makna sebagai pusat segala kebajikan kepada Allah Swt., di dalamnya terdapat dua bentuk kebajikan, yaitu kebajikan yang dikemas dalam bentuk ibadah khusus kepada Allah Swt. dan kebajikan yang dikemas dalam bentuk amaliyah sehari-hari dalam berkomunikasi dengan sesama jamaah. Abstract

This service aims to provide knowledge and skills to elementary school teachers about efforts to improve the professionalism of elementary school teachers through classroom action research. Classroom action research was chosen because the research is considered simple and very easy to implement for elementary school teachers. This service provides knowledge to participants about the basic concepts of classroom action research and research methods, as well as preparing CAR reports. The methods used in this service are lectures and demonstrations. Based on the results of this service, it was concluded that elementary school teachers were very enthusiastic and interested in classroom action research. This is evidenced by the many questions to the informants. In addition, the number of participants who attended was 35 people, indicating that elementary school teachers were very interested in this training. Participants become more aware of the basic concepts of classroom action research and the systematics of preparing reports, because so far elementary school teachers consider CAR as a difficult research.

Abstract

The use of interactive learning media in the pandemic period is deemed necessary to be developed better, besides being able to increase the desire to learn from students who already feel bored just doing learning at home, interactive modules are considered more effective in delivering material. However, there are still many kindergarten teachers who are not optimal in applying interactive modules. This is because there is still rarely counseling or training in making interactive modules. So, it is necessary for counseling to be carried out by lecturers from Electronic Engineering who in the process will be assisted by students to introduce and teach the process of making to the application of augmented reality modules that can be used as interactive learning media for early childhood. It is hoped that after the counseling is held, learning media using augmented reality can be applied to subjects that require 3D visuals in delivering material.

Abstract

This community service is intended to accommodate the needs of the hotel in improving English language skills in the hospitality sector for its employees, especially for waiters and waitresses, through English language training. The participants of this training were waiters and waitresses from The Shalimar Boutique Hotel, Malang. This activity is expected to be able to improve the quality of human resources at the Shalimar Hotel by enhancing the English skills of the waiters and waitresses, which will then be implemented to provide services and assist restaurant visitors and hotel guests from outside Indonesia. This activity was carried out in five stages, namely planning (to determine the number of participants who were involved and the materials needed in training), coordination with the hotel (to ensure that the plans made are in accordance with their needs), preparation of teaching materials/materials, implementation of training, and evaluation (providing questionnaires to training participants regarding the implementation and training materials).

Abstract

Ngrejo Hamlet, Kluwut Village, Wonosari District is located at the foot of Gunung Kawi, Malang Regency, which has relatively cold temperatures ranging from 250-350 with an area of 4331.55 km2. Kluwut Village has ethnic, racial and religious diversity. St. Joseph's Church is a place of worship for Catholics which has a very large congregation. Each service the pastor will guide the congregation to sing the songs in the worship book. With a large number of songs, the order of the songs sung will usually change at every service, so that it will be easier for the congregation to find the song page. With this problem in mind, the plan of the PPM busting team is in the form of: (1) Training on making 7 segment displays as song numbers (pages of worship books), (2) training on installation of 7 segment display devices that can be controlled remotely. It is hoped that this training can be useful for the management and congregation of the St. Joseph church. With this 7 segment display as song number information, it will be easier for the congregation to find the song page by looking at the information on the display.

Abstract

Kaum perempuan dalam masyarakat bisa menjadi satu indikator untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan PKK adalah suatu wadah organisasi perempuan. Ibu-ibu PKK Kecamatan Ampelgading mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan yang sangat bervariasi dengan perekonomian keluarga menengah ke bawah. Dewasa ini, perkembangan teknologi menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi ibu-ibu. Jika ibu-ibu mampu mengoptimalkan perkembangan teknologi yang dimiliki maka bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga mereka. Keterampilan yang dimiliki bisa dikolaborasikan dengan kemandirian mereka untuk dapat mengembangkan berbagai macam peluang usaha. Oleh karena itu, dengan masalah dan potensi yang dimiliki oleh ibu-ibu PKK Ampelgading, pelatihan kewirausahaan produksi kerajinan tangan home décor serta optimalisasi pemasaran produk melalui sosial media dan market place pada ibu-ibu PKK Kecamatan Ampelgading, Kabupaten Malang diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf kesejahteraan ibu-ibu PKK tersebut.

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) di Kelurahan Tlogowaru Kedungkandang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kelompok petani peternak memanfaatkan limbah pertanian menjadi bahan pakan ternak ruminansia yang memiliki nutrisi dan daya cerna yang tinggi, sehingga pada saat musim kemarau, tidak mengalami kesulitan mencari pakan ternak. Target khusus pelaksanaan program yaitu transfer ilmu dan teknologi pembuatan pakan ternak berbasis limbah pertanian. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penyuluhan ini adalah sosialisasi, penyadaran, pelatihan/demplot, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi serta keberlanjutan program. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta penguasaan teknik tentang introduksi teknologi pengolahan pakan silase dan amoniasi pada mitra kegiatan. Mitra mampu melaksanakan dan mempraktekkan sendiri seperti yang dicontohkan oleh tim pengabdi dengan benar. Kegiatan program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dapat mendorong dan mendukung mitra untuk menciptakan dampak yang positip bagi kesejahteraan, kemandirian dan peningkatan produktivitas usaha peternakan.
