Abstract

Many teachers of special schools (SLB) experience stress whether they realize it or not. Teachers who are under pressure can experience discomfort which can lead to depression, lack of motivation and frustration. The stress experienced by teachers of special schools has a negative impact on teachers of special schools and children with special needs (ABK), both physically, mentally, emotionally and behaviorally. Therefore, this problem must be addressed so that it does not have a negative impact on special needs school teachers and children with special needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of stress management strategies in overcoming these problems. This descriptive qualitative research was conducted using data collection techniques in the form of literature review. This study shows that coping with stress is an effort that consists of changes in cognitive and attitude in managing and overcoming pressure from within the individual and from outside the individual. The stress management strategy for Special School teachers consists of problem-oriented and emotional coping. Overcoming focus is a stress management strategy can be influenced by some cultural background, experience in solving problems, environmental factors, personality, self-image and social factors. It is believed that this research will greatly assist Special School teachers to improve the quality of education and training for Children with Special Needs, and through stress management can make people aware of the problems they face and make them more careful in their actions and take ways to solve problems.

Abstract

Adolescence is an important phase in human development in which individuals experience significant physical, emotional, and social changes. The parenting style applied to teenagers has a crucial role in shaping their independence. This research aims to explore the parenting styles needed to support adolescent development. Adolescent development involves the search for self-identity, exploration of values, and the formation of more complex social relationships. The right parenting style can provide a strong foundation for teenagers in facing these challenges. The required parenting style includes several important aspects. The parenting style needed to support the development of adolescent independence includes clear boundaries, emotional support, opportunities to develop independence, and open communication. A parenting style that pays attention to these aspects will help teenagers build independence, self-confidence and the ability to face the future well.

Abstract

Casual sex is a relationship driven by sexual desire, both with the opposite sex and the same sex, without any marriage ties, and can be carried out freely with many people. Adolescent problems are very complex problems, one of which is free sex. The problem of free sex is the most prohibited thing in Indonesia. In European countries this is normal or legal, but in Indonesia it is strictly prohibited. Even though there is no public law that regulates adultery between two single people. However, there are still customary laws that apply in Indonesia, so free sex is prohibited.

Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan anak, yang bertujuan untuk membantu mereka mengembangkan kemampuan melalui pembelajaran di kelas. Motivasi adalah faktor kunci dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan, yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja siswa, termasuk mereka yang berkebutuhan khusus dalam pendidikan inklusif. Di Indonesia, kebijakan pendidikan inklusif memastikan kesempatan pendidikan yang setara bagi semua, termasuk anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana keterampilan kreatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB Negeri 1 Pagaruyung. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini mengamati interaksi kelas dan mewawancarai guru untuk memahami metode dan tantangan pengajaran yang efektif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kreatif, seperti kerajinan tangan dan puisi, secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Guru memainkan peran penting dalam mengidentifikasi dan memelihara bakat siswa melalui dukungan berkelanjutan dan penguatan positif. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan pengajaran yang inovatif dan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dalam menumbuhkan motivasi dan pertumbuhan pribadi di antara anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Wawasan ini berkontribusi untuk mengembangkan strategi yang efektif untuk pendidikan inklusif, memastikan semua anak dapat mencapai potensi penuh mereka.

Abstract

This research demonstrates the importance of sign language as an effective communication tool for the deaf, particularly in the educational context at SLB Negeri 1 Pagaruyuang. It also emphasizes the significance of developing communication methods that enhance better accessibility for students with special needs to comprehend lesson materials and actively participate in the learning process. Utilizing a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to describe the communication patterns developed by these deaf teachers. Teachers teaching these students need to integrate spoken language with body language, face challenges in understanding deaf students in particular, and often receive assistance from fellow teachers to facilitate better understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of formal and informal education in the development of Islamic Psychology to improve community welfare, especially among Muslim communities in Yogyakarta City. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, this study involved 300 respondents selected through a stratified random sampling method, including those who had experience in formal and informal faith-based education. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire that measured participants' perceptions of the impact of such education as well as their psychological well-being. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between formal and informal education in Islamic Psychology and psychological well-being. Formal education makes a strong contribution to the development of knowledge, while informal education, such as recitation and pesantren, plays a role in the formation of spiritual values that support individual well-being. The findings confirm the importance of integrating formal and informal education in the context of developing Islamic psychology to achieve better community well-being. This study also provides recommendations for educational institutions to further optimize the synergy between these two types of education.
