Abstract

Pregnancy as a physiological process is often an obstacle to maintaining optimal health due to the discomfort that occurs during this period. Various obstacles due to discomfort can prevent pregnant women from being physically active, implementing a healthy diet. In addition, in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, most pregnant women experience the discomfort of back pain, and many are not aware of the management that can be done. This condition causes pregnant women to be unfit during the pregnancy process. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women related to physical activity, nutrition and body mechanics so that the pregnancy is a quality process. This community service was conducted in Noyontaansari sub-district, the working area of Pekalongan City Noyontaan Health Center, which 29 pregnant women attended. The activity was carried out through education in pregnant women's class activities. There was an increase in the knowledge level of pregnant women before and after the education. The knowledge tested included knowledge about physical activity (exercise), nutrition, and body mechanics for pregnant women. The pre-test results showed that most (62%) had a moderate level of knowledge, 7% had less knowledge and only 31% had good knowledge. After the training, the post-test results showed that all pregnant women had a good level of knowledge. This is an indication of the success of the PkM activities in improving knowledge.

Abstract

The household environment is vulnerable to domestic accidents, underscoring the necessity of possessing fundamental expertise in first aid as the primary approach to addressing such incidents before subsequent medical interventions. Insufficient attention to this primary measure can result in more severe injuries. Notably, a deficiency exists in targeted interventions that aim to enhance the elderly population's comprehension of strategies to prevent and treat domestic accidents. Two approaches have been implemented to tackle this issue and augment the elderly population's understanding. These methods encompass educational lectures and practical demonstrations tailored to seniors, specifically focusing on preventing and treating domestic accidents. As a result, there is observable enhancement in knowledge after the provision of information through community health education initiatives. Preceding the dissemination of insights into injury prevention and treatment among the elderly, knowledge distribution is categorized: 11% categorized as 'good,' reflecting a high level of knowledge; 33% as ‘moderate,' indicating a sufficient level; and 56% as 'poor,' representing a lower level of knowledge. A noticeable increase is observed upon sharing the information, with 61% rise in 'good' categories, a corresponding 39% increase of 'moderate' categories, while the 'poor' category remains unchanged. The findings indicate increased understanding among the elderly concerning injury prevention and treatment of domestic accidents.

Abstract

DZN Farm is a sheep farming group located in the village of Senden RT 10/04, Ngawen, Klaten which has potential in the agricultural sector, especially in the livestock sector. There are 10 breeders with a total of 150 sheep, which have been kept since 2020. One of the potential commodities of Senden village is sheep which are kept as additional income. The DZN Farm livestock group was formed with the aim of ensuring that sheep farmers who are members of the livestock group are able to collaborate with each other, and become a dynamic and growing group. Priority problems faced by partners include: 1) Production aspects including: Quality and availability of feed, namely the decreasing availability of natural animal feed in nature and lack of knowledge of utilizing agricultural waste, Utilization of livestock waste, namely the livestock waste produced has not been utilized optimally; 2) Management and Marketing Aspects, namely Marketing is still semi-conventional, livestock marketing is done by word of mouth between communities and via social media Facebook. The solution for implementing the PKM program is 1) increasing the economic income of livestock groups through engineering complete feed and adding value to livestock waste which is processed into fertilizer. 2) entrepreneurship development which can be achieved through digital-based marketing planning via websites, social media and marketplaces. Meanwhile, the PKM Program's output target is to create an environmentally friendly livestock model to improve the economy.

Abstract

Circumcision is an obligation for Muslims. declared an obligation because it has been exemplified in the sunnah of the Prophet. It is stated in Siroh Nabawiyah that Rasulullah SAW performed circumcision when he was 7 days old. However, socialisation of the sunnah of Rasulullah Muhammad SAW in Indonesian society is mostly carried out when children are 5 years old or older. Currently, circumcision, or what is more commonly referred to ascircumcision," can be done in various ways. The choice of a variety of ways and the effects that arise are also very influential on the costs incurred. The obstacle in general is that the cost of circumcision under the care of a doctor is not affordable for the poor, who are being squeezed by economic problems. Based on this, we intend to organise a mass circumcision social service for poor children. As a medical tertiary institution engaged in the world of medical surgical nursing, the Community Service Team for the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gombong, is motivated to participate in creating a healthy young generation. This small step is very important for us, especially if the circumcision process brings social values towards a better social life. This mass circumcision programme was carried out at the Tathmainnul Qulub Islamic Boarding School, Taman Winangun, Kebumen, and was attended by 22 participants. With the mass circumcision program, we are sure that we can fully obtain these positive values. Therefore, we are ready and able to be part of this noble step and invite benefactors to participate in it.

Abstract

This activity aims to overcome the problems faced by partners where these problems make it difficult for partners to develop. The culinary chip industry is one of the businesses owned by the residents of Wonogiri Lor Hamlet, Kapuhan Village, Sawangan District, the majority of the population of Wonogiri Lor Village are farmers. As for the business partner sector itself, it is a culinary industry in the form of various chips which usually consist of mushroom, intestine, bitter melon, spinach, melinjo chips, and so on. Based on information extracted from business owners, there are at least four problems faced by partners, namely: lack of knowledge about management, especially marketing management, product packaging that usually only uses ordinary plastic, no business licensing, and efforts to increase revenue. The aspect of capital which has been an important problem for a business entity, in this case partners, is also constrained regarding capital because the capital used by partners is their own capital so they have not received capital support from the village or from the district government. In overcoming these problems, we try to provide solutions by targeting the Human Resources (HR) aspect. HR is one of the important aspects in an organization because it is HR that runs other aspects of an organization. We are trying to strengthen the human resources of partner organizations by providing several programs such as providing business management training, marketing training for chips culinary business partners to strengthen human resources and marketing chips for Mrs. Ana's industrial business.
