Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and social environment on technology-based entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurial self-efficacy in vocational high school students in Mojokerto Regency. The low level of technology-based entrepreneurship among students is caused by a lack of understanding, social environmental support, and effective entrepreneurial skills development. The approach used is quantitative with a survey method, using a questionnaire distributed to 198 respondents from four schools. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics with the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique through SmartPLS software to test the relationship between variables. The results show that entrepreneurship education, social environment, and self-efficacy significantly and positively influence technology-based entrepreneurial intentions, and self-efficacy acts as a mediating variable. It is recommended that educators increase innovation in entrepreneurship learning and strengthen students' social support and digital competence to increase their interest and readiness in technology-based entrepreneurship

Abstract

This study aims to describe the digital literacy levels of Phase D students (Grades VIII and IX) in three junior high schools classified as severely underdeveloped in Lembang District, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that most students have acquired basic digital skills, such as operating computers, using word and data processing software, and understanding the use of the internet and email. However, awareness of digital security remains very low. Major challenges include limited infrastructure, such as the small number of available computer devices, unstable electricity, and restricted internet access. Despite these constraints, students demonstrate strong enthusiasm, and teachers show initiative in maximizing available resources to support digital learning. This study recommends improving infrastructure, providing continuous teacher training, and implementing contextual learning strategies to strengthen digital literacy development in 3T (frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged) regions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usability level of the learning tool monitoring system developed to support the digitalization of learning administration management in the educational environment. Usability is a crucial aspect in the successful implementation of the system, because it is directly related to the convenience, comfort, and effectiveness of use by teachers, supervisors, and education staff. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with evaluation instruments that refer to six usability characteristics, namely appropriateness recognizability, learnability, operability, user error protection, user interface aesthetics, and accessibility. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents of the users of the system, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that the system has an average usability value of 4.50 or 90.04%, which is classified as very good. The characteristics with the highest scores were accessibility (90.64%) and user interface aesthetics (90.42%), while the lowest scores were appropriateness recognizability (89.57%). These findings indicate that the system has met most of the users' expectations, especially in terms of the interface appearance, ease of access, and learning process of using the system. However, the aspects of function recognition and navigation still need to be slightly improved to be more optimal.

Abstract

This study presents the development of an automated Smart Waste Sorting, Shredding, and Compressing System to improve waste management efficiency. The system integrates capacitive and proximity sensors to classify waste into organic (leaves) and plastic categories with 100% accuracy in testing (20 plastic samples and 9 liters of organic waste accurately sorted). The shredded waste is reduced to 3 cm fragments, and subsequent compression achieves a 60% volume reduction, significantly optimizing storage and transport. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller for real-time control, supported by ultrasonic sensors and servo motors for precision. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the integrated design, highlighting its potential for sustainable waste management in communities and institutions. This innovation offers a practical solution to enhance recycling processes and reduce environmental impact through automation.

Abstract

The effectiveness of technical training in the agricultural sector is highly dependent on the success of the overall evaluation of participants' skills. This research aims to develop a competency-based training evaluation model that can measure participants' knowledge, skills, and attitudes systematically and objectively. The study was conducted on the training of two-wheeled tractor operators at the Batangkaluku Agricultural Training Center (BBPP). With a Research and Development (R&D) approach that integrates the Borg & Gall, ADDIE, CIPP, and Logic Model models, an evaluation model called TERAPAN (Evaluative Transformation for Agricultural Training Response and Action) was produced. The model is validated through expert tests and field implementation that demonstrate high validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results show that the TERAPAN model is able to improve the accuracy of skill measurement and provide concrete feedback to the training design. This model makes a significant contribution to strengthening the vocational agricultural training system in Indonesia, and is recommended for national adoption.

Abstract

Bullying behaviour has remained a global issue with far-reaching consequences on their psychological well-being, social relationships, and academic performance among victims. Studies linking personality traits and self-esteem on bullying behavior within specific cultural contexts are lacking. Therefore, this study examined the predictive ability of personality traits and self-esteem on bullying behaviour among in-school adolescents in Ibadan North Local Government Area. Cross sectional survey design was adopted while purposive sampling technique was used to select the study location. Data were collected from 387 participants using validated scales and analyzed using multiple regression analysis and independent samples t-test to test two hypotheses that were accepted at p < 0.01 level of significance. The result demonstrated that personality traits and self-esteem jointly predicted bullying behavior among study participants [R² = .082, F(6, 380) = 5.66, p < .01]. In addition, the results revealed that agreeableness (β = .24, t = 4.58, p < .01) and conscientiousness (β = -0.12, t = -2.37, p < .01) independently predicted bullying behavior among study participants. However, self-esteem, extraversion, openness to experience and neuroticism did not independently predict bullying behavior among study participants. The novelty of the study is that it is the first time bullying behaviour is studied in a specific cultural milieu in Ibadan. It is recommended that a comprehensive, personality-focused anti-bullying programs be designed and implemented to reflect the cultural and educational contexts among in-school adolescents.
