Abstract

The importance of education as the main foundation in developing human potential has a significant impact on the progress of a country. The future of a nation really depends on the quality of education implemented in the current era. High quality education can be realized if educational institutions are serious about paying attention to the quality of education itself. The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia occurs due to a greater focus on the input and process aspects of education. One of the contributing factors is the lack of quality, competence and professionalism of the majority of Madrasah Heads. Therefore, an important step to improve the quality of education is to empower the role of Madrasah Heads. Madrasah principals have a central role as drivers of productivity in managing resources in schools, especially for teachers and school staff. The success of school activities as a whole depends greatly on the quality of leadership of the Madrasah Principal. Therefore, it is necessary to implement educational leadership by the Madrasah Head. This research, which is qualitative in nature, aims to understand the role of Madrasah Heads in improving the quality of education at MA AL-AZHAR Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan. The research results show that the role of madrasa heads in improving the quality of education is carried out through several efforts, such as developing curriculum administration, facilities and infrastructure, human resources, and community participation. Supporting factors involve togetherness in managing the curriculum, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the success of professional teachers. While inhibiting factors involve differences in students' psychological abilities and souls, low community participation, lack of funding, and lack of teacher enthusiasm.

Abstract

Due to the high level of poverty in Indonesia, the government implemented a program called the "Family Hope Program" as a response to this problem. The program is targeted at low-income or low-income families with special components. One of the long-term goals of this program is to improve Human Resources (HR) in the education sector. This research uses field research methods with a qualitative approach. The data analyzed includes the maintenance of religious values among families who receive the Family Hope Program (PKH), the religious values instilled in families who receive PKH in Karangankidul Benjeng Gresik village, and the impact of PKH on beneficiaries. Participants in this research were PKH recipient families, caregivers, and PKH recipient children. Although the main aim of this program is to instill religious values, this research uses various methods, including observation, interviews, and documentation to collect information. The research results show that religious values are instilled in PKH recipient families through onboarding, role modeling and lecture methods. Apart from that, the religious values conveyed by the PKH coordinator include aspects such as the values of Faith and Taqwa, Gratitude, Devotion, Sincerity, Obedience, Qona'ah, Haya', and trust. Apart from that, Insaniyah values are also a focus, including Silaturahim, Al-Ukhuwah, Al Adl, Husnu-dzan, Al-Tawadlu, Al Wafa, Insyirah, Al-amanah, Qowamiyah, Al-Munfiqun, and Honesty. The impact of the Family Hope Program can be seen in increasing public awareness, especially in the field of education. This is reflected in their ability to remain in school, both in religious schools and public schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis dampak kedisiplinan guru mata pelajaran PABP dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini digunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner untuk variabel X yakni Kedisiplinan Guru sedangkan untuk variabel Y menggunakan hasil prestasi belajar siswa (raport). Kuesioner yang digunakan terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengujian validitas dan realibilitas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Bahrul Ulum Sekapuk ujungpangkah Gresik, dengan siswa sebagai responden. Populasi berjumlah 35 siswa, yang juga dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. teknik analisis data yakni analisis product moment dan korelasi dengan menggunkan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistic versi 25, dengan dasar melihat perbandingan nilai r hitung dan nilai r tabel untuk mengetahui tingkat pengaruh kedisiplinan guru dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian yakni kedisiplinan guru (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) yang dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan korelasi pearson product moment, diperoleh nilai r (pearson correlation) 0,689 dengan nilai sig 0,000. Dengan demikian, nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, pada taraf sig 5% (0,689 > 0,344 ) dan taraf sig 1% ( 0,689 > 0,442 ). Sehingga dapat dikatakan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yang berarti nilai koefisien regresi sangat signifikan/ kedisiplinan guru (X) yang nyata berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajr siswa (Y).

Abstract

Religion is a source of religious values ​​and has a very close connection to enter a person's soul. To form people who are religious and have religious values ​​within themselves, targeted education is needed. In this way, teachers in general and Islamic religious education teachers in particular strive to create a religious culture and increase religious potential in order to shape students' personalities into people who are faithful, devout and have morals. The question and aim of this research is to determine the process of implementing Islamic religious education in building religious values ​​in the UPT SMP Negeri 32 Gresik school environment and intracurricular learning. This research is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used were selected purposively and were snowball sampling. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that: The implementation of Islamic religious education in building religious values ​​in the UPT SMP Negeri 32 Gresik environment was carried out well and effectively. Then related to programs in a special curriculum regarding religion, also memorizing selected letters in the Koran, then the example and discipline provided by all school members. Abstract

In facing the phenomenon of increasingly rapid development and increasing competition between schools, schools need to implement various good strategies. Strategic management is the right choice to overcome this challenge because it focuses on future planning and is based on analysis of the internal and external environment. By following the process of strategic management stages, schools can carefully consider appropriate decisions, follow-up actions and strategic choices to respond to the dynamics of development and changes in the educational context. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results concluded that the strategic management of MA Darul Ulum Ngabar was effective in improving the quality of education. Strategic planning includes steps such as developing a vision, mission and goals, identifying internal and external factors through SWOT analysis, short-term, medium-term and long-term planning, and determining a good strategy. This process requires the cooperation of all stakeholders, including the seminary principal, assistant director of communications, assistant director of curriculum, assistant dean of students, teachers, and the seminary committee. The implementation of strategic management includes madrasa policies, motivation of educators and education staff, mobilization of human resources, and development of madrasa culture. The results include improved staff performance, effective learning processes, improved student performance, higher competency standards, and higher attractiveness in the eyes of society.

Abstract

With the flow of rational-religious philosophy, of course, thinkers in conceptualizing an education cannot escape the role of religion and reason. The leaders of the adherents of this school are Ibn Miskawaih and Ibn Sina, this research is certainly made as a starting point to see the differences between the two. This research is library . The primary data in this study is a journal about the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih and Ibn Shina. In this study, the researcher used content analysis in a descriptive form. The results of this study are: In terms of goals, the two figures proclaimed character-based goals. Ibn Miskawaih proclaimed character-based cognitive goals, then Ibn Sina proclaimed character-based Psychomotor goals. In terms of material, both provide religious material and worldly material, but Ibn Sina is more adapting the material to be given to the psychology of students. From the aspect of the method, the two figures have similarities in providing methods, namely in providing role models and providing a good environment from an early age, but the method used by Ibn Sina focuses more on student/psychomotor skills that does not leave affective, while Ibn Miskawaih focuses on affective. which does not leave cognitive. In terms of evaluation, Ibn Miskawaih's standard provides more detailed standards for student achievement than Ibn Sina's

Abstract

The managerial ability of the principal in the implementation of learning is very important in the school. The role of the principal in the school is to be a managerial, supervisor, and evaluator. In the implementation of learning, the principal must be able to encourage learners, including the implementation of tahfiz learning. In the current era, Qur'anic learning education is also very necessary in producing a generation with Qur'anic morals. Therefore, school principals need to have good skills in managing the implementation of tahfiz learning. The objectives of this study are (1) To determine the managerial capabilities of female principals in tahfiz learning at Assa'adah High School. (2) To know the implementation of tahfiz learning at Assa'adah High School. (3) To find out the principal's leadership strategy in managing tahfiz learning at Assa'adah High School. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The data sources used in this study were in-depth interview methods, observation and documentation. In-depth interviews are used to search for data by conducting a structured dialogue. Observations are made to find data by looking directly at what is happening in the field. The documentation is used to find data by taking pictures of the actual situation that occurred. The results of this study show that: (1) the managerial capabilities of female school principals are to manage, supervisor, and evaluator. (2) the implementation of class X tahfiz learning is very good. In one week there are already their own methods every day, ranging from moroja'ah, addition, and deepening of knowledge. (3) The strategy carried out by the principal in the implementation of tahfiz learning is in the form of motivation and supervision of students, both at home and at home.

Abstract

It needs to be emphasized that students are experiencing a phase of development and growth in accordance with their nature. Therefore, they need consistent guidance and direction to achieve their natural potential optimally. The task of guiding and directing is the responsibility of teachers in an educational institution, especially in managing students in their institution. Student management is an integral part of the world of education. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, especially field survey research. The analysis was carried out descriptively to provide a quick and precise picture of the implementation of guidance and counseling management in improving student discipline at Sunan Drajat Lamongan Vocational School. The results of the research show that the implementation of guidance and counseling management at Sunan Drajat Lamongan Vocational School to improve student discipline is quite good, involving preventive and control measures. BK teachers actively guide, direct and provide solutions to student problems to prevent violations of school rules.

Abstract

The emergence of new Islamic educational institutions has created a new phenomenon in the world of education. That way, of course Madrasas are competing to create new programs that are different from other Madrasas. So quite a few people find it difficult to make choices so that their children can go to good schools and can develop their children's skills. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. One of the superior programs that is in great demand in the current era is Islamic boarding schools and tahfidzul Quran. Not a few Madrasas include a superior program in their school curriculum. With this superior program, it will certainly attract a lot of parents of students and even the students themselves to support and develop their skills. One of the schools that uses this superior program is Sabilur Rosyad Islamic Middle School. The curriculum model used at this school is the 2013 curriculum which is integrated with Islamic boarding schools with a full day school learning system. Not a few schools implement the full day school model, but of course this type of curriculum model is very much in demand by modern society, and is very in line with the output of the K13 curriculum, namely by prioritizing character but also not neglecting students' abilities and skills. The superior programs owned by Sabilur Rosyad Islamic Middle School are: Islamic boarding school, Tahsin Al-Quran and Tahfidh Al-Quran, as well as language programs.

Abstract

In analyzing an issue, Islamic philosophy of education consistently emerges to provide insights into education and the Islamic process, with the aim and objective of achieving an ideal condition. In reality, Islamic philosophy of education moves in two directions: firstly, towards the expansion of philosophical concepts in Islamic education that automatically generates new theories in the education of Islamic sciences, and secondly, towards improvement and innovation in the practices of implementing Islamic education. This research takes the form of a literature review. The primary data used by the researcher includes journals and books on Islamic Philosophy of Education and Islamic Education. The researcher employs the Content Analysis technique by recording factual information and providing detailed and accurate descriptions of various dimensions related to all aspects under investigation. The results of this research indicate that the philosophy of education, especially in the Islamic context, is not only analytical but also provides direction, norms, criticism, and theoretical foundations for educational practices. Islamic philosophy of education, in particular, plays a crucial role in directing education in accordance with the values of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
