Abstract

The provision of quality nursing services is determined by the performance of nurses in providing nursing care. The delivery of nursing care has hazards, one of which is ergonomic hazards. Good knowledge of ergonomic principles is essential for nurses therefore nurses have self-awareness, can improve work behavior, and avoid the negative impacts of ergonomic hazards, namely musculoskeletal diseases. This community service activity was carried out on nurses in the intensive care unit at a hospital in Pekanbaru City, which began with a pre-test, education, and post-test. Education was carried out using media as an Education Module consisting of working in a neutral/non-awkward position and posture, reducing excessive loads, reducing excessive repetitive movements, minimizing static positions, minimizing pressure at certain points, and stretching at work. The evaluation results showed an increase in nurses' knowledge after being given education. This activity is known to be effective as an initial solution in improving nurses' understanding of ergonomic principles in providing nursing care which is still lack. It is expected that this educational activity can be carried out on nurses in other clinical settings with more varied methods and media and reinforced with reminders.

Abstract

Perempuan memiliki peranan penting dalam mewujudkan kesehatan keluarganya khususnya dalam bidang ketahanan pangan, gizi dan kesehatan keluarga. Pengolahan makanan yang baik dalam keluarga memiliki syarat-syarat seperti memenuhi zat gizi, bahan pangan yang disajikan mudah didapat dan murah, mengandung gizi yang cukup dalam jumlah dan mutu, disajikan bervariasi. Melimpahnya sumber pangan lokal berupa ikan patin yang dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat telah diolah menjadi beberapa produk. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Ibu dalam pengolahan berbagai menu atau olahan makanan sumber bahan pangan protein hewani (Ikan Patin). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari-Agustus 2023 di Desa Ranah Singkuang Kabupaten Kampar. Peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah para ibu kader di desa Ranah Singkuang dengan menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test, penyuluhan, praktik pengolahan menu dan advokasi. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu mengalami peningkatan pada saat post-test yaitu dari 67,25% menjadi 78,83%. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan dimulai dari pengenalan jenis pangan hewani, cara memilihnya dan bagaimana cara pengolahan yang baik. Kemudian juga dilakukan pemutaran video tentang pengolahan berbagai jenis olahan ikan patin seperti dendeng ikan patin, abon,nugget dan kerupuk, Dapat disimpulkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampulan ibu kader tentang pengolahan pangan hewani khususnya ikan yang secara umum dapat meningkatnya peranan wanita menuju keluarga sehat.

Abstract

Generasi penerus bangsa merujuk pada kelompok anak dan remaja yang menjadi calon pemimpin dan membuat perubahan di masa depan. Generasi penerus bangsa kelompok anak – anak yang berusia 6 – 12 periode menggambarkan atau membangun perkembangan kognitif mereka. Perilaku Hidup Bersih Sehat (PHBS) merupakan upaya untuk menularkan perilaku hidup sehat melalui individu, kelompok, atau pun Masyarakat luas dengan jalur – jalur komunikasi sebagai media berbagi informasi. Memberikan demonstrasi cuci tangan pakai sabun dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dibidang Kesehatan terhadap siswa/i SDN 005 Km 2 Rengat Barat di Desa Pekan Heran. Metode yang digunakan dimulai dengan pemberian pre-test, pemaparan materi, dilanjutkan dengan permaianan mengoper handsinitizer dan diakhiri dengan post-test. Jawaban yang diberikan siswi pada pre-tes dan pos-test menjadi tolak ukur dari tingkat pemahaman terhadap materi yang disampaikan sebelumnya.Sedangkan untuk menilai keberhasilan dari permainan mengoper handsinitizer kami menilai pemahaman setiap kelompok mengenai permaianan. Siswa/i kelas 3 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Rata – rata berumur 9 sampai 10 tahun. Pada SDN 005 Km 2 Rengat Barat di desa Pekan Heran untuk fasilitas mencuci tangan telah tersedia tepatnya berada didepan kelas 3 dengan jumlah 4 kran air. Setelah tim PKM melakukan kegiatan maka didapatkan hasil signifikan dengan melakukan pre-test 33% dan post-test 100%. Maka didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan siswa/i SDN 005 Km 2 Rengat Barat di desa Pekan Heran meningkat sebanyak 67% Dengan memberikan permainan mengoper hand sanitizer dan praktik cuci tangan.

Abstract

Remaja Indonesia mengalami masalah gizi yaitu stunting, obesitas dan anemia. Upaya pembentukan sadar gizi pada usia sekolah menengah pertama penting karena pada usia ini anak sudah dapat mengolah informasi dan dapat membuat keputusan terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membentuk sikap dan perilaku sadar gizi remaja melalui edukasi pedoman gizi seimbang. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 01 Kampar dengan 27 siswa kelas VIII sebagai sasaran. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah menggunakan media booklet dan cakram gizi yang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi. Evaluasi hasil edukasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post test menggunakan kuesioner. Lomba foto isi piringku juga dilakukan untuk monitoring sikap dan perilaku setelah edukasi. Hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa 63% remaja memiliki pengetahuan gizi baik, 48,1% memiliki sikap baik terhadap gizi, dan 59,3% memiliki perilaku yang baik terhadap gizi. Disimpulkan bahwa edukasi dengan metode ceramah dengan media booklet dan cakram gizi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang gizi seimbang.

Abstract

Anemia dalam kehamilan ialah kondisi ibu dengan kadar hemoglobin dibawah 11 gr% pada trimester 1 dan 3 atau kadar< 10,5 gr% pada trimester 2.Anemia dalam kehamilan dapat mengakibatkan dampak yang membahayakan bagiibu dan janin (Rini Mayasari 2020). Anemia pada ibu hamil memiliki dampak kesehatan terhadap ibu dan anakdalam kandungan, antara lain meningkatkan risiko bayi dengan berat lahir rendah, keguguran, kelahiranprematur dan kematian pada ibu dan bayi baru lahir. Ibu hamil dengan kadar Hb <10 g/dl mempunyai risiko 2,25kali lebih tinggi untuk melahirkan bayi BBLR, sedangkan ibu hamil dengan anemia berat mempunyai resikomelahirkan bayi BBLR 4,2 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ibu yang tidak anemia berat. Resiko kematianibu meningkat 3,5 kali pada ibu hamil yang menderita anemia (Yanti, Dewi, and Sari 2023). Tujuan dari kegiatanpengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang pentingnya mencegah terjadinyaanemia dalam kehamilan karena merupakan deteksi dini terjadinya resiko tinggi kehamilan. Kegiatan inidilaksanakan di Praktik Mandiri Bidan Rosita Kota Pekanbaru pada tanggal 9 Januari 2025. Pelaksanaankegiatan pengabdian ini diawali dengan melakukan edukasi mengenai Pencegahan anemia dalam kehamilan dandilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab.

Abstract

Stunting in children can occur due to the lack of special attention in the first 1000 days after birth, because this period determines the level of physical growth, intelligence, and productivity of a child in the future (Ni'mah & Lailatul, 2015). Adolescent behavior The low public knowledge of the factors that cause stunting and its prevention has resulted in people becoming very vulnerable to having a stunted generation. From the academic side, the community service team views that health training, especially regarding stunting in adolescent groups, needs to be carried out as an early anticipation and optimization of the role of the community in this program. Adolescents are members of society who are able to become agents of change. Activities to Improve Adolescent Behavior Through the Formation of the Youth Movement to Prevent Stunting (GEMAR CETING) group with the game Se Tatak at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Lama, West Rengan District, which is the working area of the Pekan Heran Health Center, is expected to be able to change adolescent behavior and increase adolescent knowledge and share knowledge with peers.

Abstract

The planting of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) in RW 5 Pebatuan Subdistrict Pekanbaru was conducted as part of the Community Service program of Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau students on May 9, 2025. This activity is a collaboration among lecturers, students, and local residents in empowering the community to provide and manage the TOGA garden. The method involved active community participation under the guidance of students and lecturers, resulting in the establishment of a medicinal plant garden that can be used for family health needs and community education. The results showed the success of the TOGA garden establishment with various medicinal plants beneficial for health and economic potential. This program is expected to be a model for community empowerment and the development of medicinal plants based on local wisdom.

Abstract

The Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on children's growth and development, as well as the quality of human resources. One of the main strategies in the effort to prevent stunting is to provide education to vulnerable groups, especially pregnant women. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of pregnant women in RW 13 Pebatuan Village, Pekanbaru City, about stunting prevention through balanced nutrition education and early understanding of stunting. The methods of implementation include counseling, interactive discussions, and the distribution of educational media. This activity was carried out as part of the work program of the Community Service Practice of students from Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau. The results of the activity show an increase in pregnant women's understanding of the importance of nutritional intake during pregnancy and steps to prevent stunting. This activity is expected to become a sustainable promotive-preventive effort in supporting the acceleration of reducing stunting rates in the region.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent reproductive health is increasingly becoming a major concern in education and public health. Especially in elementary school environment, where there is not enough information about clean and healthy lifestyle, it may affect their health in the future. Objective: To improve the understanding of students at SDN 010 Batam on the importance of reproductive health care through interactive counseling. Method: counseling that involves interaction, group discussion, and appropriate educational materials, materials include knowledge about the structure of body organs both inside and outside, growth, hygiene, and reproduction, as well as daily healthy lifestyle. Results: increased student understanding of hygiene and healthy living and its effect on reproductive health. Students showed a high level of enthusiasm and the ability to use the knowledge gained in daily life. These findings demonstrate the urgency of the need for structured and continuous reproductive health education in educational settings. Similarly, the community service program has been successful in raising awareness and shaping a continuous healthy lifestyle among adolescents. Conclusion: this step is very important in shaping a healthy generation that cares about reproductive health issues.

Abstract

Overweight among adolescents, including university students, continues to rise and poses long-term health risks. One preventive approach is through education and healthy food processing using local ingredients. This community service program aimed to improve students' knowledge and skills in preparing healthy steak made from tiwul (cassava granules) and tofu dregs. The activity was conducted in April–May 2025 and involved 15 students from Aisyah University of Pringsewu. The methods included nutrition education, product demonstration, and sensory evaluation. Results showed high enthusiasm from participants, who actively engaged in all stages of the activity. The developed product had acceptable taste and texture, and was high in dietary fiber, supporting weight management goals. This program proved that healthy, affordable food can be made from local resources and food by-products using simple techniques. Students are expected to apply this knowledge at home and serve as role models in promoting healthy eating habits among their peers.
