Abstract

There are still some achievements of STAB Maitreyawira students that still need to be improved. The method in this educational research is a descriptive method. The place in this research is STAB Maitreyawira. The research time is September 2021. Then the population in this study is 38 students of STAB Maitreyawira Class of 2019. Because only 30 students filled out the questionnaire in this study, in this study only data from 30 students were used as subjects in this study. From the results of the calculations, it is found that the average value of student interest in learning for the 2019 batch of S1 Buddhist Religious Education Study Programs STAB Maitreyawira is 76.54. This provides an explanation of student interest in learning, namely the learning interest of STAB Maitreyawira students for the class of 2019 is relatively high (from the calculation (3100 4050) x 100% = 76.54%). The conclusion of this study is that the learning interest of students of the 2019 batch of S1 Buddhist Religious Education Study Program STAB Maitreyawira is relatively high, namely 76.54. Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the observation that there are not many studies that explain the role of school principals in improving the quality of education. Whereas research on the role of school principals in improving the quality of education is important. Based on these observations, research will be conducted on the role of school principals in improving the quality of education. This research method is using a qualitative method with the type of literature study. The role of the principal in improving the quality of education is that the principal acts as an educator, the principal acts as a manager, the principal acts as an administrator, the principal acts as a supervisor, and the principal acts as an entrepreneur.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the success of increasing student activity at SMB Viriya Dhamma through the Jātaka story. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model. The research was carried out at SMB Viriya Dhamma Wates, Semarang Regency. The research subjects are nine students and two teachers. The data collection techniques and instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The instrument used was student and teacher observation sheets. Data analysis in this study used descriptive quantitative analysis and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the Jātaka story was very effective in increasing the learning activity of SMB Viriya Dhamma students. The Jātaka stories told in this study are the Devadhamma Jātaka, Gāmani Jātaka, and Nalapāna Jātaka. Viriya Dhamma SMB students' active learning can be seen from the results of research which shows an increase in SMB students' learning activities from Pre-Cycle to Cycle II. In the Pre-Cycle, the learning activity of SMB students was 150 and Cycle I increased to 194. In Cycle I, the learning activity of SMB students from 67.36% increased by 94.44% in Cycle II. In Cycle I it got a value of 194 and in Cycle II it increased by 272. Abstract

ABSTRACT The study focuses on "The Role of Online Learning In New Normal at SMK Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru", Involved by principal, Head of MGMP Pekanbaru, the buddhist teacher and students of SMK metta maitreya. Data collection with observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The interactive data analysis technique (miles and huberman,1994: 12), through data reduction, data presentation, and deduction/verification. Data validity with the concept of validation of triangulation and a member of the check. The results of the study were revealed: First;The online learning of buddhist education in SMK metta maitreya has been well performed based on the potential of students, measured from online learning in New Normal, according to the achievement of academic year 2021-2022, accountancy and computer engineering students which are 195 people acquired an average of 92, above minimum minimum criteria (KKM) 75, Whereas the aspect of development based on a well-defined 3.6-3.7 numerical range (B), it means that students have understood the moral aspects of accuracy, moral feeling, and action. According to dictates no.22 to 2016 concerning the standards of primary and secondary education processes. Second; Implementation of online learning in the new normal (new habits) modeling altruism approaches, teachers motivate and facilitate learning, to find a practical model that consolidate the normal role of learning in the new normal during pandemic, it also strengthens the passion to learn Buddhist Education in SMK metta maitreya which has done with great level of effectiveness in the school.

Abstract

ABSTRACT By utilizing household waste which was usually useful as a substitute for industrial chemical products. Not only for environment, household waste could create economic value for Buddhists in PBSM Pekanbaru because besides being clean the environment also did not require expensive costs to obtain it. By introducing Eco Enzyme household waste management. This Community Service aims to provide Buddhist Eco Enzyme making training with Utilization of Household Waste at the PBSM Pekanbaru. So that Buddhists at PBSM know about the meaning and how to made Eco Enzyme and know the benefits of household waste and other types of household waste.There were several results that are considered as a result of the mentoring activities in the training of making Eco Enzyme with the use of household waste for Buddhists at PBSM Pekanbaru during this service. Among the results deemed to be the result of assistance are as follows: Showing the satisfaction of various parties and becomes an indicator of the success of this service program, Judging from the process during the mentoring activity, it was found that there was enthusiasm from the participants have better understanding in making Eco Enzyme, There were opinions, positive comments and good hoped from the PBSM Leader, and as training participants, they hope that similar activities will always be held for the following years

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Prajnamitra Maitreya Pekanbaru Foundation faces the challenge of increasing teacher job satisfaction through the application of a school organizational culture with characteristics of educational background, ethnicity, religion, and different character and mindset of teachers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of organizational culture on teachers’ job satisfaction. The number of samples in this study was the entire study population of 57 teachers at Prajnamitra Maitreya Foundation Pekanbaru. The Likert Scale is used for collecting survey data. This research using Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) for revealed that organizational culture has significant effect on job satisfaction

Abstract

Whereas research on the role of teachers in improving the quality of learning is important. Based on these observations, research will be conducted on the role of teachers in improving the quality of learning. This research method usesqualitative research methods with the type of literature study. The teacher's role in improving the quality of learning is to implement a learning system according to conditions, the knowledge provided is in accordance with the development of science and technology, quality learning resources for students, the language in learning resources can be understood, and to provide character education to students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship simultaneously and partially between online learning on interest, motivation and learning achievement of students in Buddhist subjects at SMP Maitreyawira Palembang. This study used a quantitative method. The samples taken in the study were 48 people using purposive sampling technique. This study used a questionnaire which was distributed to 48 students. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis of research data showed that the regression value of 0.914 indicated that there was a significant relationship between online learning and interest, motivation and learning achievement. Fvaluecalculated (74.543) was greater than Ftable(2.82), this meansthat there was a joint significant influence between online learning on interest, motivation and learning achievement. The value of the coefficient of determination showed that the percentage of the influence of online learning on interest, motivation andlearning achievement is 83.6% while the remaining 16.4% was influenced by other variables. And obtained the value of the ttest, the tvalueof (3.963), motivation was (3.022), and learning achievement was (2.893) with a ttableof (1.679). This shows that online learning partially has a significant relationship to students' interest, motivation and learning achievement.

Abstract

Fostering adolescent morale can apply the role of understanding Metta to adolescents, in that way it can teach teenagers to have metta traits, behave well, and have good manners. Metta is a sense of brotherhood, friendship, selfless help, having the will to do good, seeing other creatures as equal to oneself. Metta is also a desire to make others happy and get rid of hatred and evil desires that will hurt other people and other beings. Realizing the above, the writer tries to conduct a research that aims to describe the role of understanding metta to improve the morale of adolescents at SDS Cahaya Kasih Bengkayang with teaching based on love in a Buddhist perspective. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Educators of Buddhist Education Learning, Studentsand Parents of SDS Cahaya Kasih Bengkayang students. The object of this research is the role of understanding metta in the Buddhist perspective to improve the morale of adolescents at SDS Cahaya Kasih Bengkayang. The location of this research is at SDS Cahaya Kasih Bengkayang. Data collection techniques are the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. And the results of the study show that the role of understanding metta in students at SDS Cahaya Kasih Bengkayang can be seen from the increased morale of students such as caring attitudes between others, honesty, politeness when speaking, respecting educators, helping each other, developing from understanding the role of metta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of online games on the learning activitiesof thestudents of Dharma Mulia Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative type of descriptive research. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observations, and documentation based on the instruments that have been compiled. The data analysis uses data displays to make it easier for readers to understand the research results. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Class V teacher, parents, and the fifth grade Buddhist students at Dharma Mulia Elementary School. The results of this study indicate that the impactof online games for the fifth grade students of Dharma Mulia Elementary School is influenced by the pattern of student play, and the duration of online games which can have an impact of online games on student learning activities. The patterns of playing games are classified in several ways, namely when to play online games, places to play online games, and transactions in online games. The duration of online games played by Dharma Mulia Elementary School students is grouped into several phases, including durations of less than one hour, one to three hours, and more than three hours in one day. The impact of online games on student learning activities shows that there are two impacts, namely the negative impact and the positive impact. The negative impact on student learning activities, among others, on mental activities. and emotional activities. The negative impact on the mental activities is less responsive when learning, and solving problems or that learning achievement decreases. The impact of emotionalactivities on the fifth grade students of Dharma Mulia Elementary School is lack of interest in learning, feels bored, dares, and speaks harshly. The positive impact on the learning activities of Dharma Mulia Elementary School students. The positive impact of the online games on student learning activities, is the high socialization.The application of Visuddhimagga to overcometheonline games can be carried out with several alternative activities. The first activity that can be doneisby advocating or training the studentto practice atthasila andtotraining the studentto meditate either independently or by including the studentin the retreat.
