Akhlak: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Filsafat, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia. Jurnal ini merupakan wadah akademik yang menggali konsep-konsep dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam dan filsafat dengan fokus pada aspek akhlak (moralitas dan etika). Dengan menggabungkan perspektif keagamaan dan filsafat, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan pemikiran-pemikiran mendalam tentang bagaimana agama Islam dan filsafat dapat membentuk karakter dan perilaku manusia. Artikel-artikel dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai topik, mulai dari teori-teori akhlak dalam Islam hingga penerapan praktisnya dalam pendidikan dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penulis dalam jurnal ini mungkin membahas tentang konsep-konsep seperti akhlak al-Quran, akhlak Rasulullah, nilai-nilai moral dalam filsafat Islam, serta metode-metode pendidikan agama Islam yang bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter yang baik pada individu. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober).

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the use of muqabalah as a language style in Surah Al-Mulk and its impact on conveying moral and spiritual messages in the Al-Qur'an. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes verses containing muqabalah and discusses various contrasts that arise, such as life and death, courage and fear, and luck and loss. The methodology used includes literature study, tafsir, and rhetorical analysis to explore how muqabalah enriches the meaning of the text and increases reader understanding. The results of this research show that there is Muqabalah Khilafi in verse 3, Muqabalah Naziri in verse 15, and Muqabalah Naqidhi in verses 20, 21, and 22. These findings confirm that the use of muqabalah in Surah Al-Mulk not only clarifies the meaning, but also has a psychological impact profound for readers. The contrasts displayed serve to increase moral awareness and spiritual responsibility, as well as provide relevance to these messages in modern life. The uniqueness of this research lies in its emphasis on how muqabalah can be applied in learning the Koran in the contemporary era, as well as providing suggestions for increasing spiritual awareness through creative and relevant approaches. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to a better understanding and application of the teachings of the Qur'an among Muslims.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the government in promoting Islamic moderation in North Sumatra. Through qualitative and quantitative data analysis from 15 academic sources, the author concludes that the government’s main strategy is to make education an effective tool to preserve moderate values. Interfaith dialogue forums are an important platform for local residents to understand and appreciate differences. The results of the study indicate that government efforts have succeeded in reducing indicators of radicalism and increasing the level of social tolerance among the community. However, there are still several active obstacles such as economic instability and ignoring the participation of non-Muslim communities that must be further addressed by the government so that the implementation of Islamic moderation remains stable and develops positively. Integration of moderate values ​​in the context of local culture is a strategic step towards a harmonious and prosperous society.

Abstract

This article examines the history and development of the Islamization of education in Indonesia. This study aims to analyse Islamisation of education through Islamic education by looking at historical data that shape the patterns and characteristics of Islamic education in Indonesia, as well as identifying critical points that influence the direction of its development. The research uses the theory of historical institutionalism. Through a literature study with a qualitative approach, the research reveals that the development of Islamic education in Indonesia followed a strong path dependence pattern, where decisions in the colonial and early independence periods shaped a relatively stable institutional path. The findings show that the process of educational Islamization underwent institutional layering, where new elements were added without completely erasing the old structure. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of the dynamics of institutional change in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Role of Islamic Education-Based Schools in the Formation of Religious Character in Nadwah Kindergarten focusing on the current large population in Indonesia and the rampant criminal acts and government programs through laws with the aim of research 1). describe the formation of religious character in Nadwah Kindergarten, 2). To describe the role of Islamic Education-Based Schools in the Formation of Religious Character in Nadwah Kindergarten 3). To describe the driving and inhibiting factors in the Formation of Religious Character in Nadwah Kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, qualitative research methods are also called naturalistic research methods because the research is conducted in very natural conditions (natural settings). Data collection through participatory observation, structured and unstructured interviews. documentation study using tools: observation guides, interview guidelines, data validation using Triangulation (sources), confirmability and dependability and analysis using reduction, data presentation and Drawing Conclusions The informants in this study were one Principal and two class teachers. The results of this study show 1). The formation of religious character in Nadwah Kindergarten has so far been running but has not been optimal through several habits that have been carried out, this is due to the different backgrounds of each family. Through the habit of saying hello to parents and teachers when saying goodbye and coming, then when entering the class, so far it has been going well. Dhuha prayer is performed once a month, but for memorizing the readings of obligatory prayers and ablution there is and memorizing short letters An-nas to At-takasur. 2). The role of Islamic education-based schools in the formation of religious character in kindergarten is very important because at this stage children are in a period of character formation that is very vulnerable and has a major influence on their development in the future. 3). these supporting and inhibiting factors and taking the necessary steps to strengthen children's character education. Collaboration between all stakeholders, including teachers, school staff, parents, and the community, is also important in building an environment that supports the formation of positive character for children in kindergarten.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive era of education, student engagement in the learning process is very important. Active learning methods, which prioritize active student participation, have been proven to improve motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to explore various active learning methods in the context of Islamic education and their impact on student engagement. Through data analysis from various case studies, this study found that the application of active learning methods can significantly increase student engagement.

Abstract

In the 21st century, education is required to produce students who are creative, critical, collaborative, and communicative to face the challenges of the times. Therefore, the implementation of the STEAM learning model is one innovative solution to improve the quality of learning and student outcomes, especially in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that adopts the Kemmis and McTaggart model with two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the STEAM learning model. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In the cognitive domain, the average student score increased from 76% in cycle I to 88% in cycle II. In the psychomotor domain, there was an increase from 71% in cycle I to 91% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in the affective domain, student activities increased from 78% in cycle I to 92% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of the STEAM learning model can be declared effective in improving student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects for grade III students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Munawwarah, Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' environmental awareness through the implementation of poster media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Munawwarah Kota Jambi. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles. The subjects of this study were sixth-grade students. The results indicate an improvement in students' environmental awareness after implementing poster media. In the pre-cycle stage, students’ environmental awareness was only 12%. After implementing poster media, the percentage increased to 60% in the first cycle and reached 96% in the second cycle. Furthermore, teacher activity in the learning process improved from 73.8% in cycle I to 92.6% in cycle II, while student activity increased from 71.5% to 92.1%. These findings demonstrate that poster media can be an effective learning tool in fostering students’ awareness and concern for their school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using visual media in the form of power points in islamic religious education learning in class IV SD N 54/IV Danau Teluk Jambi City. This type of search is claccroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles with the stages of planning, observation, evalution, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade IV students at SD N 54/IV Danau Teluk, Jambi City, totaling 20 students.while the object of this research is the use of visual media in the form of power points to improve student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase instudent learning outcomes with a percentage of the average value of the student learning outcomes in the pree-cycle of 25%, cycle I of 50%, and cycle II of 95% with a very good learning outcome category. In addition, there are results of the percentage of succes of student observations in cycle I of 62% and in cycle II of 94% with very good categories and an increase in teacher activities in cycle I of 74% and cycle II of 97% with very good categories.

Abstract

Physical punishment of children, such as hitting, remains a common practice in education. This study examines the negative impact of physical punishment on learning effectiveness, psychological aspects, and students' academic performance. Research indicates that children who experience physical violence tend to suffer from anxiety, stress, and low motivation to learn, resulting in lower academic achievement. Additionally, physical punishment can lead to emotional disturbances, the development of aggressive behavior, and a decline in social skills. To reduce the practice of physical violence in schools, strategies such as implementing positive discipline, strengthening character education, and increasing awareness among educators and parents about the harmful effects of physical punishment are necessary.

Abstract

This articel discusses improving the ability to memorize the mufrodat of class IV students in the Arabic language subject material My Aspirations by applying flash card learning media in the private Ibtidaiyah Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiyah Jelutung, Jambi City. This research uses the classroom action method which refers to the Kemmis and MC models. Taggart went through four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. This research consisted of initial observations and 2 cycles. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The research sample was class IV students at MIS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Jelutung, Jambi City in 2024/2025, totaling 14 people. The aim of this research is (1) by applying flash card media, it can improve class IV students' memorization of mufrodat in Arabic language subjects about my dreams. (2) the ability to memorize mufrodat in Arabic language lessons regarding ideals can be increased through the application of learning media flash cards. Data collection techniques in this research use observation sheets, tests and documentation. The results of this study stated that there was an increase in the ability to memorize mufrodat, this was proven by the pre-cycle percentage which was 37%, then the percentage of cycle I meeting I showed 43% of students who completed it, then cycle I meeting II was at 50%, cycle I experienced an increase but did not increase rapidly and had not yet reached the percentage of completeness, then cycle II, meeting I was 64%, had not yet reached the percentage of completeness, then continued in cycle II, meeting II showed 78% of students had completed. The findings of this research are that by applying flash card media you can improve your ability to memorize Arabic language subjects with my dream material.
