Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has significantly altered the ways adolescents interact and establish social relationships, particularly through social media. This study aims to examine the impact of human relations on adolescents' interactions and behaviors on social media platforms, taking into account psychological, sociological, and cultural dimensions. Employing a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this research explores interaction patterns among adolescents on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. The findings reveal that social media creates virtual spaces that enhance social networks but also pose risks such as reduced quality of face-to-face interactions, social anxiety, and mental health issues. This study emphasizes how the intense use of social media reshapes traditional communication patterns and influences adolescents' behavior and self-concept. Based on these findings, strategic recommendations are proposed for parents, educators, and policymakers to guide healthy social media use, balance its benefits and drawbacks, and foster the development of more meaningful social relationships among adolescents.

Abstract

This research is a normative judicial research supported by a conceptual juridical approach and a statutory approach using primary legal materials and secondary legal materials collected through interviews, observations and literature studies and processed using editing and classification techniques and analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study show that the Position and Function of the Acting Regent in the Implementation of Regional Government in Lembata Regency has not run optimally, not all Regional Officials have good ability in organizing government affairs and community interests both in the village and at the sub-district level, as well as carrying out balanced development between physical development and non-physical development.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the social constructs that affect the use of makeup in Open University students. The factors discussed include the influence of social media, social factors, culture, and their impact on confidence in meeting existing beauty standards. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores social norms that contribute to the perception of beauty and the practice of using makeup. The results of the study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the perception of beauty among female students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of Korpri in providing legal protection for civil servants. Philipus M. Hadjon stated that legal protection for the community is a government action that has a preventive and responsive nature, the preventive nature has the aim of preventing disputes which directs government action to be careful in making decisions based on discretion and protection, while The responsive nature aims to prevent disputes from occurring, including handling them in judicial institutions. This research is a type of normative research with literature study. The results of the research show that Korpri's role in providing legal assistance to civil servants is carried out through LKBH KORPRI. This is in accordance with the ASN Law which states that in Article 21 Letter d and Article 22 Letter c of Law no. 5 of 2014 civil servants have the right to obtain protection and in Article 92 paragraph (1) Letter d and Article 106 paragraph (1) Letter e it is explained that the government also has an obligation to provide legal protection in the form of legal assistance.

Abstract

The participatory oversight program includes the establishment of oversight villages in Central Kalimantan to involve the community in overseeing the Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in 2024.The urgency of establishing oversight villages for community participatory oversight is to increase participation, strengthen the oversight function of Bawaslu, prevent violations, and enhance transparency and accountability.The challenges in the implementation of oversight villages include limited human resources, lack of public understanding, geographical and infrastructural challenges, budget constraints, as well as practical politics and local interests.Strategic steps to address these challenges include stakeholder collaboration, intensification of training, infrastructure improvement, and the utilization of technology.Through oversight villages, the community is expected to actively participate in monitoring the regional elections to achieve clean, transparent, and accountable elections.

Abstract

In the journey of life, especially in the world of higher education, students are faced with various challenges that not only test their intellectual abilities, but also their personalities. Among the values that are essential to forming individual character, unity is an element that is often overlooked, but has a profound impact on the formation of character and self-confidence for college students. Unity is not just a figment of the imagination, but an important foundation in living life with full strength and emotional balance. National unity is a solid foundation for the younger generation to achieve a bright future. In the era of globalization that is full of dynamics, unity becomes increasingly crucial. Without unity, various challenges such as division, radicalism, and instability will threaten the sustainability of the nation. The younger generation as agents of change has a central role in maintaining and strengthening unity. By uniting, the younger generation can create strong synergy to overcome various problems and advance the nation.

Abstract

Higher education plays an important role in creating quality human resources in the future. As university students, our main task is not only to achieve academic achievements, but also to form strong, competent characters and be ready to face global challenges. Building a generation that is intelligent, characterized and competent as well as a process of self-maturation is an important step to prepare individuals who excel in science with integrity, leadership and good social skills. The intelligent generation has knowledge and skills according to the times, while the generation with character is able to integrate moral values, ethics and empathy in everyday life. In the context of higher education, this process is not only related to the formal curriculum, but also non-academic experiences that play a role in the personal growth of each student. The process of self-maturation in higher education trains students to be more independent, critical, and have a broad outlook on life and be responsive to various social problems. The formation of balanced character and competence will prepare students to contribute optimally in various aspects of life, including in the world of work, society and as responsible citizens. Therefore, it is important for every student to understand the essence of this process and commit to continuing to develop, both academically and personally, so that they can become a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has noble values ​​that can benefit the nation. and the world. Abstract

With the existence of social media, the distribution of public service advertisement videos has become easier. However, the rampant cases of phishing in society lately have the potential to harm users of online banking services. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of exposure to public service advertisements on the attitudes of Twitter / X users. This study uses a quantitative approach. The choice of research method that will be used is the quantitative causality method. This study will use X / Twitter users who have watched the public service advertisement video "Don't Know? Kasih No!" by Bank Central Indonesia. The results of this study are that the variables product / message thoughts, source oriented thoughts, and ad execution thoughts simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the formation of attitudes of Twitter / X users. It can be concluded that these three variables help in the process of receiving messages and forming audience attitudes when watching the public service advertisement video "Don't Know? Kasih No!"

Abstract

This research analyzes the public relations communication strategy implemented by Pratama Bina Medika Clinic in building brand awareness as a new health facility. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with data collection techniques using interviews and literature studies to determine the effectiveness of direct marketing strategies (direct selling), word of mouth communication (WOM), and digital marketing in introducing health services (clinics) to the public. The research results show that the direct selling strategy through visits to posyandu is effective in building personal relationships with the community, increasing trust, and expanding brand awareness. WOM communication, both directly and via social media, supports the dissemination of wider and more reliable information. The use of digital marketing through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram expands the reach of information and facilitates interaction with the public. This holistic approach has succeeded in creating a positive image of the clinic as a provider of quality and affordable health services, while increasing public trust in the services offered.

Abstract

This study discusses the legal protection for contract workers in Indonesia, which has become increasingly important as the use of contract work systems grows. Although various regulations have been implemented, such as Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower and Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021, practice in the field shows gaps in the application of contract workers' rights. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by gathering data from various literature studies. The results indicate that contract workers often do not receive their full rights, including fair wages, social benefits, and health insurance, due to weak oversight, a lack of understanding among workers about their rights, and non-compliance by companies with applicable regulations. This article identifies several key challenges, such as discrepancies in the interpretation of regulations between central and regional authorities, as well as companies' practices that violate legal provisions. Therefore, there is a need for enhanced supervision, increased worker awareness, and stricter law enforcement to ensure more effective protection for contract workers. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of labor policies in Indonesia that are more supportive of the welfare of contract workers.
