Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management in educational programs as a strategy for improving school quality. A qualitative descriptive approach was used through a literature review and analysis of risk management practices in educational institutions. The results indicate that the implementation of risk management plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of educational programs. Schools that systematically implement risk identification, analysis, and mitigation processes are able to prevent program failure, optimize resources, and increase public trust in school quality. Effective mitigation strategies include teacher training, funding diversification, and ongoing evaluation of school activities. Thus, risk management is not only a control tool but also a strategic instrument for achieving sustainable educational quality.

Abstract

Risk management is a systematic process essential for helping organizations identify, analyze, and control risks that can disrupt the achievement of their objectives. This article discusses the history of risk management, its basic concepts, objectives, and its role in organizational management. Using a literature review method, this article outlines various approaches and processes for effective risk management, such as risk identification, analysis, evaluation, and handling, as well as the importance of communication and monitoring in their implementation. Risk management is not only beneficial for minimizing losses but also for supporting better decision-making and improving corporate governance. With proper risk management implementation, organizations can be better prepared to face uncertainty and turn risk into an opportunity for sustainable growth.

Abstract

This study explores the role of risk management in improving school quality through a qualitative literature approach. Risk management in education serves as a structured process to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that may hinder the achievement of educational objectives. Schools are increasingly required to adopt proactive risk management strategies to address operational, financial, and reputational challenges. The study finds that effective risk management practices enhance institutional resilience, support continuous improvement, and foster a culture of accountability. By integrating risk management into school governance, educational institutions can improve decision-making, strengthen resource management, and ensure sustainable quality enhancement. This paper highlights the importance of risk management awareness among educators and policymakers in order to maintain the stability and integrity of educational organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze risk management strategies to improve organizational performance through a qualitative approach with case study methods. Organizations face various risks that can hinder the achievement of strategic goals and objectives. Effective risk management is essential to identify, assess, manage, and control potential events that may disrupt organizational  objectives.  This  research  examines  the  relationship  between  strategic  planning,  risk  management effectiveness, and organizational performance. The findings indicate that effective risk management can strengthen the relationship between strategy formulation and organizational performance. Organizations implementing systematic risk management  processes—including  context  establishment,  risk  identification,  risk  analysis,  risk  evaluation,  and  risk treatment—demonstrate better performance in achieving their objectives. Strategic planning combined with effective risk management enables organizations to be more systematic in management, focus on goal achievement efforts, and improve decision-making quality. This study concludes that integrating risk management into strategic planning is crucial for enhancing organizational competitiveness and sustainability in facing business uncertainties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum policy in Senior High Schools (SMA), with a particular focus on its relevance to the educational transformation following the Covid-19 pandemic. The Merdeka Curriculum was introduced as a strategic response by the Indonesian government to address the significant learning loss experienced during the pandemic through flexible, differentiated, and student-centered learning approaches. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, relying entirely on online observation, in-depth document analysis, and a review of digital educational resources. No direct field interviews were conducted; instead, data were obtained from scientific literature, official government publications, and online learning activities documented by various Senior High Schools in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum offers substantial opportunities for post-pandemic learning recovery, especially through strengthened project-based learning, diagnostic assessments, and adaptive instructional design that aligns with students’ needs. However, its implementation still faces several obstacles, including the widening digital literacy gap among teachers and students during the pandemic, inadequate technological infrastructure in remote areas, and limited teacher understanding of formative assessment and differentiated instruction. Despite these challenges, the Merdeka Curriculum has demonstrated positive impacts on students’ creativity, motivation, independence, and character development guided by the Profile of Pancasila Students. In conclusion, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the post-Covid-19 era represents an essential step in rebuilding Indonesia’s education system toward more flexible, humanistic, and relevant learning. Its success is largely determined by the readiness of human resources, the extent of government support, the enhancement of teachers’ digital competence, and collaborative efforts among schools, families, and communities in addressing the challenges of post-pandemic education.

Abstract

This research aims to provide solutions or strategies to address obstacles in online courage-based learning activities in elementary schools based on the implementation of risk management. In today's era, the use of technology is increasingly developing, one example of which can be implemented in the educational realm. Online learning has become popular since the Covid-19 pandemic, and it is still implemented in several schools. It is not uncommon for elementary schools (SD) in Indonesia to still use the courage method in the teaching and learning process. Implementing courage-based teaching and learning activities inevitably faces many risks and challenges, both from the students themselves, teachers, and parents. These risks can include technical and psychological challenges, participation issues, and data security issues. Therefore, courage-based learning activities involve many parties. This research collected literature data, mostly obtained from journal articles.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of applying risk analysis to the administrative decision-making process in educational institutions. In education, every managerial decision carries potential risks that can impact service quality, resource efficiency, and the sustainability of school activities. Through a risk analysis approach, decision-makers can assess the likelihood and impact of an event, thus making policies more accurate, measurable, and problem-prevention oriented.

Abstract

The challenges of managing uncertainty in distance learning (PJJ) also emphasize the importance of integrated risk management (MR) within digital school administration. The sudden transition to distance learning, especially during a crisis like the pandemic, has exposed serious weaknesses in the education system, such as limited digital infrastructure, inadequate teacher and student preparedness, and academic integrity issues. Uncertainties in distance learning encompass operational risks (such as network and device limitations, and data security), pedagogical risks (teaching quality and student participation), and strategic risks (institutional resilience to disruption). Digital school administration provides a framework for increasing efficiency and transparency, but alongside its benefits, digitalization also brings new risks such as cyberthreats, data privacy breaches, and challenges in technology adoption. Therefore, an active and comprehensive risk management approach is essential to address these multiple uncertainties.

Abstract

This activity was carried out by MBKM students at SMAS IT Hasanka Palangka Raya with the main goal of supporting the implementation of technology-based learning through the optimization of interactive TV use in classrooms. The program originated from the school’s need to provide modern, engaging, and efficient learning experiences while maintaining Islamic values and discipline without allowing the use of personal gadgets in class. The research method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), adopting a collaborative, participatory, and reflective approach among MBKM students, teachers, and students through cycles of reflection, action, and evaluation. Data were collected through participatory observation, reflective interviews, and documentation of learning activities. The results show that the use of interactive TVs had a positive impact on the effectiveness of learning and encouraged innovation in teaching practices. MBKM students played an active role in assisting the implementation of educational technology while helping teachers and students adapt to digital media. This activity demonstrates that collaboration between universities and schools can strengthen the digital transformation of education. The recommendation from this activity emphasizes the need for ongoing teacher training and the continuation of MBKM programs to further support innovation in technology-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the implementation of classroom management and administration at SMP Negeri 6 Banjarmasin, particularly in Class VII B under the supervision of Mrs. Tri Widia Ningsih, S.Pd. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study focused on three main aspects: the implementation of classroom management, the execution of classroom administration, and the teacher’s role as a learning manager. The findings reveal that the teacher successfully implemented effective classroom management strategies, which include the physical arrangement of the classroom, social interaction management, and the reinforcement of student discipline. A conducive and interactive learning environment was achieved through open two-way communication between teacher and students. In terms of administration, the teacher demonstrated good competence in managing both academic and non-academic records. The use of digital technology, such as Microsoft Excel and Google Drive, served as an important innovation that enhanced efficiency and accuracy in administrative documentation. Overall, the implementation of classroom management and administration at SMP Negeri 6 Banjarmasin was effective and professional. The teacher acted as a manager, administrator, motivator, and role model for students. This research highlights the importance of collaboration among teachers, students, and the school in fostering efficient, character-based, and sustainable learning.
