Abstract

In the era of Society 5.0, education is required to adapt to the rapid advancement of technology and information. Information literacy has become an essential competency for both teachers and students, enabling them to filter, evaluate, and utilize information critically and effectively. Through a review of Indonesian research, this article analyzes the role of information literacy in improving the quality of education. The findings indicate that information literacy has a significant impact on academic performance, critical thinking, and learning-related decision-making. Within the school context, the integration of information literacy through curriculum design, library services, and teacher training has strong potential to enhance educational quality in the 5.0 era. Recommendations include strengthening policies, optimizing library functions, and improving information literacy among teachers and students.

Abstract

Operational risk control is a crucial element in school management, contributing to the smooth running of the teaching and learning process and pathe continuity ty of school activities. Uncontrolled operational risk can disrupt the confort, safety, and quality of from daily activities to achieve organizational strategies. Risk management must be based on risk identification, risk analysis, mitigation plan development, implementation, control, and evaluation to minimize negative impacts. Effective risk control, therefore, enables the creation of a conducive learning environment and supports improved school performance.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the system in improving managerial performance in elementary schools. Effective managerial performance is the key to realizing the school's vision and mission, improving the quality of education, and creating a conducive learning environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several elementary schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to managerial policies and practices. The results of the study indicate that improving managerial performance is influenced by several factors, including human resource management, implementation of information technology, effective communication systems, and government policy support. A data-based managerial system is one of the important innovations that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of decision making. In addition, training and development of principal and managerial staff competencies have been shown to contribute significantly to improving performance. This study recommends strengthening the performance evaluation system periodically and implementing a quality-based management strategy to achieve educational goals. By optimizing the existing system, elementary schools can improve institutional accountability and competitiveness. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of educational management at the elementary level.

Abstract

The systems approach in education aims to improve the quality of student learning outcomes by integrating various interrelated components in the learning process. This article discusses the concept and implementation of a systems approach to optimize learning outcomes in educational environments. This approach views education as a system consisting of various elements, such as curriculum, teaching, students, facilities, and evaluation that interact and influence each other. With this approach, each element in the system is expected to function optimally to achieve the desired educational goals. This study identifies how these elements work together to improve the quality of learning outcomes, including external factors such as motivation, learning styles, and the use of technology in learning. The application of the systems approach focuses on creating a learning environment that supports and enables students to develop their potential optimally. In this study, it was found that by adopting a systems approach, learning management can be more focused and coordinated, thereby increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. In addition, the use of learning strategies that are appropriate to student characteristics also contributes to the achievement of better learning outcomes. These findings are expected to be the basis for the development of more effective and systems-based learning models in order to face future educational challenges.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of school principals in efforts to improve the quality of human resources. The principal is the most responsible and important component for the success of education in his school and for improving the quality of education. The role of the school principal in improving the quality of human resources includes being an Educator, Manager, Advisor, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator and Motivator (EMASLIM) in the educational institution he leads. The leadership success of a school principal is primarily based on his ability to lead effectively, which includes skills for managing human resources, making strategic decisions, and creating a harmonious school environment. The main key to ensuring the school principal's work runs smoothly lies in his ability to maintain emotional stability, face various challenges calmly, and maintain self-confidence in every situation.

Abstract

Child-Friendly School (SRA) is an educational concept aimed at creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for children's holistic development. Focusing on protection, participation, and development, SRA contributes to improving the quality of basic education in Indonesia. This program is not only academically oriented but also emphasizes students' emotional and social well-being. The implementation of SRA faces challenges such as limited funding, lack of teacher training, and parental support. To address these challenges, strategic recommendations are needed, including increased education budget allocation, ongoing teacher training, and strengthening partnerships between schools, parents, and communities. With these measures, SRA is expected to have a significant positive impact on student development and the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is one of the main factors in developing quality human resources. The education systems in Indonesia and Malaysia have unique characteristics that reflect the cultural, social values and national policies of each country. The education system in Indonesia and Malaysia has experienced significant development, driven by the need to create superior human resources capable of competing globally. In Indonesia, the transformation of the education system is marked by changes in curriculum policies, such as the Merdeka Curriculum, which aims to increase consistency and creativity in the learning process. The government also continues to encourage equal access to education in all regions and strengthen the character of education. Meanwhile, Malaysia is focusing its development on technology-based and vocational education through the implementation of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum and the Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) program. Both countries face their own challenges in implementing equitable and sustainable education policies, but both continue to innovate in order to improve the quality of education. This journal compares the development of the education systems in Indonesia and Malaysia, including policies, structures and challenges faced in efforts to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, the role of human resources (HR) in improving school performance is becoming increasingly crucial. This study aims to analyze how HR, including educators and administrative staff, can contribute effectively in utilizing technology to improve the learning process and school management. The method used in this study is a literature study by collecting data from various sources such as journals and books. The results of the study indicate that training and professional development for teachers and the implementation of a digital-based management system can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of school performance. In addition, collaboration between HR and other stakeholders, such as parents and communities, has also been shown to strengthen support for educational innovation. Thus, good HR management in the digital era not only has an impact on improving the quality of education, but also on achieving the school's strategic goals. This study suggests that schools focus more on developing HR digital competencies as an important step in facing educational challenges in the future.

Abstract

The strategy of developing teacher competency in mastering learning technology is very important to improve the quality of education in the digital era. This study highlights various methods that can be applied to strengthen teacher skills, including technology-based training and collaboration between teachers. Through this approach, teachers can develop innovative and interactive lesson plans, utilizing digital tools to increase student engagement. In addition, the application of active learning methods such as projects and educational games can help students hone critical thinking and collaborative skills. This study also emphasizes the importance of stopping in the process of developing teacher competency, so that they can adapt to the changing needs of education. Involvement in professional networks and continuous learning are key to ensuring teachers stay up to date with technological developments. Thus, teacher competency development strategies must include relevant training and support from educational institutions.

Abstract

Organizational culture is the foundation that shapes thought patterns, behavior and interactions within the organization, so it plays an important role in influencing employee performance. This research aims to analyze the theoretical relationship between organizational culture and employee performance using the literature study method. Literature searches were carried out on various sources such as books, journals and relevant research reports. Findings show that a positive organizational culture, with values ​​such as trust, cooperation, and innovation, can significantly improve employee performance through higher motivation and job satisfaction. On the other hand, an unsupportive organizational culture can hinder employee potential, give rise to conflict and reduce productivity. This research concludes that effective management of organizational culture is the key to creating a work environment that is conducive to individual growth and achieving organizational goals. These results provide a theoretical basis for the development of organizational culture management strategies.
