Abstract

The implementation of risk management in school administrative management constitutes a strategic measure to prevent operational errors and enhance the quality of educational governance. Poorly organized administration can give rise to various risks, including record-keeping errors, delays in reporting, and weak work accountability. This study aims to describe the application of risk management through administrative evaluation activities at SD IT Adzkia 3 Padang. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the school’s administrative staff. The findings indicate that risk management is implemented through routine monthly and quarterly evaluations that focus on accuracy, orderliness, and work efficiency. The adoption of the digital e-Letter system in managing correspondence and school documents has proven effective in reducing the risk of archive loss, data input errors, and in accelerating internal communication processes. Continuous evaluation fosters the development of a professional, disciplined, and accountable work culture. Thus, the implementation of risk management at SD IT Adzkia 3 Padang not only strengthens the school’s administrative system but also serves as a crucial instrument for improving the quality of educational management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the formal organizational structuring stage in the management of Rumah Zakat South Sumatra as a zakat-, infaq-, and sadaqah-based (ZIS) philanthropic institution. Modern philanthropic institutions are required to possess organizational structures that are professional, accountable, and adaptive to social dynamics, including digitalization and the increasing demand for community empowerment. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the stages of formal organizational structuring at Rumah Zakat South Sumatra include the formulation of objectives aligned with the institution’s national vision, the determination of activities based on core functions (fundraising, distribution and utilization, finance, and volunteer management), the grouping of activities through function-based departmentalization, the establishment of working relationships through coordination mechanisms and integrated information systems, and the implementation of a clear functional organizational structure. This study emphasizes the importance of formal organization as a fundamental instrument in strengthening the governance of philanthropic institutions, particularly in the context of managing public funds that demand high levels of transparency and professionalism. Abstract

The digital transformation in education has brought significant changes to learning systems, school management, and the performance of educators. This study aims to analyze the risks educators face in maintaining and improving their performance in the digital era. These risks include aspects of technology adaptation, workload, digital competence, and teacher psychological well-being. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies of teachers in several secondary schools. The analysis results indicate that most educators face difficulties in adapting to the demands of educational technology, such as the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital platforms, and interactive learning media. Furthermore, there is a risk of decreased work motivation due to increased digital administrative burdens and a lack of ongoing training. School leadership and organizational support also play a crucial role in mitigating these risks. This study emphasizes the importance of risk management strategies for educator performance through improving digital competencies, strengthening technical and psychological support, and developing policies that adapt to technological change. In conclusion, digital transformation requires not only technical capabilities but also mental readiness and a managerial system that is responsive to the dynamics of change. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for policymakers in the education sector to design teacher professional development programs that are more relevant to the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of management psychology in the organizational problem-solving process. Organizational problems arise not only from structural and technical aspects but are also influenced by psychological factors of individuals and groups, such as perception, motivation, emotions, and work interaction dynamics. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing scientific journals and reference books related to management psychology and organizational behavior. The findings indicate that management psychology plays an important role in supporting comprehensive problem identification, improving decision-making quality, and enhancing the effectiveness of problem-solving through effective communication, teamwork, and cognitive bias management. The application of management psychology enables organizations to develop more accurate, adaptive, and sustainable solutions in addressing organizational challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the risk approach in planning and monitoring educational organizations. The purpose of this study is to determine the risk approach in educational organizations as a strategic effort to improve the affectiveness as a strategic effort to improve the effectiveness, afficiency and accountability of educational implementation. Risk is the opportunity for adverse events to accur, which is caused by uncertainty. The risk approach includes various factors than can affect the smoothness of daily activity ptocesses. Risk management strategies help organizations anticipate potential problems and implement appropriate preventive measures to minimize negative impacts on overall company productivity and performance. In the context of planning, the risk opproach helps educational institutions explore potential threats and develop mitigation steps before risks impact organizational performance, while in supervision, this approach functions as an early detection and evaluation system for internal control so that all operational activities run according to the standars and objectives of the institution. This research method utilizes a literature review based on articles, journals, and books. These results indicate that the risk opproach has an important role in increasing the affectiveness of planning and monitoring of educational organizations.

Abstract

The Three Lines of Defense Model serves as a structured framework in educational organizations to strengthen risk management and governance systems. This study explores the conceptual implementation of the model within educational institutions through a literature-based approach. Data were obtained from relevant academic sources and analyzed through three stages: identification of core issues in risk control, classification of concepts based on the three defense lines, and synthesis to formulate a conceptual framework. The analysis reveals that the first line, represented by operational units, plays a crucial role in direct risk control; the second line ensures compliance and supervises system adequacy; and the third line, internal audit, provides independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance. Integrating these three layers strengthens accountability, transparency, and institutional resilience. The Three Lines of Defense Model offers a practical approach for developing sustainable and transparent risk management systems in educational organizations.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Indonesia’s education sector has accelerated through the use of LMS platforms, online administration, and large-scale data integration, yet this progress is not matched by adequate digital risk management, increasing vulnerability to cyber threats. Based on a literature review, this study identifies that digital risks arise from technical weaknesses such as poor encryption, lack of intrusion detection, and weak data protection as well as non-technical issues including low security literacy, infrastructure gaps, and weak institutional governance, with human error as the dominant cause of incidents. The study emphasizes the need for stronger security policies, improved digital competencies, standardized security technologies, and the adoption of frameworks like ISO 31000 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Ultimately, digital resilience in education requires synergy between effective policies, structured IT governance, and sustainable technological infrastructure.

Abstract

Burnout has become a significant issue in the workplace, particularly among Generation Z employees who are characterized by high adaptability to technology but also vulnerability to work pressure and psychological stress. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to burnout among Generation Z employees through a literature review approach. The method used is a systematic literature study by reviewing scientific articles, journals, and relevant publications related to burnout and Generation Z in the work context. The analysis results indicate that burnout among Generation Z employees is influenced by several dominant factors, including excessive workload, work-life imbalance, high job demands, lack of social support, role ambiguity, and limited opportunities for self-development. In addition, the use of digital technology without adequate boundaries also contributes to increased work stress. These findings suggest the importance of organizational strategies in managing workload, improving psychological well-being, and creating a supportive work environment to reduce burnout levels among Generation Z employees. This study is expected to serve as a reference for organizations and researchers in understanding and addressing burnout issues in the younger workforce.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of E-Risk Governance as a modern risk governance model for educational institutions. This study aims to explain key concepts, urgency, and the implementation structure of digital-based risk governance to improve organizational resilience and decision-making quality. The analysis uses a qualitative descriptive approach by synthesizing research from experts in education management and risk governance. The results show that E-Risk Governance supports transparency, strengthens risk identification, and enhances mitigation through integrated digital systems. This model is highly relevant for modern educational institutions facing dynamic operational, technological, and strategic risks.

Abstract

This study examines how organizational resilience can be strengthened through the transformation of digital risk management. The rapid expansion of digital technologies has introduced new forms of operational, cybersecurity, and data-related risks that require adaptive and integrated responses. The purpose of this research is to analyze the key issues that hinder digital resilience, explore strategic approaches organizations can adopt to manage emerging risks, and identify how digital transformation initiatives contribute to long-term organizational sustainability. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study synthesizes findings from recent empirical research, policy documents, and organizational case studies to develop a comprehensive understanding of digital risk practices. The analysis reveals that organizations with proactive digital governance, strong cybersecurity frameworks, and continuous risk-monitoring mechanisms achieve higher resilience in navigating technological disruptions. Results also show that leadership commitment, digital literacy, and cross-functional collaboration significantly influence the successful implementation of digital risk management. This study concludes that transforming risk management into a digitally driven, data-supported system enables organizations to anticipate uncertainties, respond quickly to digital threats, and maintain operational continuity. These findings provide practical insights for institutions seeking to strengthen their resilience in an increasingly digital business environment.
