Abstract

The influence of reward and punishment on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at dr. Hospital. Reksodiwiryo Padang City "under the guidance of dr. YULASMI, SE, MM and Mr. BAYU PRATAMA AZKA, SE, MM This research aims to test how big the influence of rewards and punishment is on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable at dr. Reksodiwiryo Hospital, Padang city. The sample in this study amounted to 53 respondents. This population is employees at dr. Reksodiwiryo Hospital. As times progress in the current era of globalization, rivalry and competition are becoming increasingly tighter and wider. Because of this, all human resource potential influences the organization's efforts to achieve its goals. Work discipline can be enforced by providing rewards and punishment. This research aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of reward and punishment on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable.This research uses quantitative research, which emphasizes testing theories on variables in the research with numbers and analysis. The measuring tool for this research is a questionnaire. The objects of this research were employees of dr. Reksodiwiryo Hospital with a sample of 53 respondents. The sample determination method used was simple random sampling. The data analysis test tool in this research is Smart PLS. The research results show that reward and punishment do not have a direct influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, there is an indirect influence of reward and punishment variables on employee performance through work discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence Job Training and Financial Compensation have on Employee Performance Through Career Development at SMAN 01 Basa Ampek Balai Tapan, The sample used was a saturated sample, because the entire population was sampled, namely 81 respondents. Data collection techniques through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability, Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the hypothesis in this study using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that Job Training has a significant effect on Career Development. There is Financial Compensation that has a significant effect on Career Development. There is Job Training that has no effect and is not significant on employee performance. There is Financial Compensation that has a significant effect on Employee Performance. There is Career Development has no effect and is not significant on Employee Performance. There is Job Training does not mediate Employee Performance through Career Development. There is Financial Compensation does not mediate Employee Performance through Career Development.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Job Training and Work Discipline on Employee Work Productivity with Work Competence as an Intervening Variable. In this research, Structrual Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tools were used using Partial Least Square (PLS). The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence of Job Training on Job Competence. There is a positive and insignificant effect of Work Discipline on Work Competence. There is a positive and significant influence of Job Training on Work Productivity. There is a positive and insignificant effect of Work Discipline on Work Productivity. There is a positive and significant influence of Work Competence on Work Productivity. There is a positive and significant influence of Job Training on Work Productivity through Job Competency. There is a positive and insignificant influence of Work Discipline on Work Productivity through Work Competence.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much influence professionalism and standard operational procedures have on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable at PT. Mandiri Palm Oil Business Jorong Simpang, Koto Balingka District, West Pasaman Regency. The data collection method is through surveys and distributing questionnaires, using the SmartPLS application. The research results obtained were based on a partial test of the significant influence of professionalism on work discipline. There is no and insignificant influence of Standard Operating Procedures on Work Discipline. There is a significant influence between professionalism and employee performance. There is no significant influence of Standard Operating Procedures on Employee Performance. There is a significant influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance. There is a significant influence of Professionalism on Employee Performance with Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable. There is no significant influence of Standard Operating Procedures on Employee Performance with Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable.

Abstract

Leadership Exemplars, Compensation and Work Discipline. This study aims to see how the influence of leadership exemplars on work discipline, the influence of compensation on work discipline, and the influence of leadership exemplars and compensation simultaneously on employee work discipline at PT. Bina Artha Semesta. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) with descriptive and quantitative methods, namely analysis that is the sum of the values ​​of the data obtained which are tabulated using multiple regression formulas. Based on the results of the study, the R value is 0.869, which indicates a positive linear relationship between leadership exemplars and compensation simultaneously influencing employee work discipline at PT. Bina Artha Semesta by 75.6%. While the remaining 24.4% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. From the test, it is known that the regression calculation obtained an F value of 46.478 with a significance level of 0.000 with (α) 5%. This shows that together, the variables of exemplary leadership and compensation have a significant effect on employee work discipline

Abstract

The Tugusari Dam has a strategic role in water resource management, especially for irrigation and flood control. However, climate change presents a range of risks, including increased extreme rainfall, sedimentation, and project financial uncertainty. This study analyzes the application of financial risk management in this project with a qualitative approach using the Delphi method and the Probability Impact Matrix (PIM). The results of the analysis showed that 10 out of 19 risk variables were classified as medium, while the other 9 were significant. Key risks include design changes, project delays, rising material costs, and labor and equipment uncertainty. This study recommends a mitigation strategy based on a comprehensive risk management system to improve the efficiency and sustainability of projects in facing the challenges of climate change

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan (studi pada guru biMBA AIUEO). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru/motivator biMBA AIUEO dengan jumlah guru 45 responden. Metode penentuan sampel yang di gunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini Pelatihan (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru (Y), Motiviasi (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dan Disiplin kerja (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses transformasi gerakan dakwah Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dari bentuk tradisional berbasis pesantren menuju model dakwah modern di era digital, dengan menyoroti faktor-faktor pendorong, tahapan perubahan, strategi komunikasi, serta tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi. Menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, kajian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan dokumen resmi organisasi NU yang relevan dengan tema transformasi dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan dakwah NU merupakan respons terhadap perkembangan teknologi informasi, pergeseran sosial-budaya, dan peran generasi muda yang adaptif terhadap media digital. Proses transformasi berlangsung bertahap dimulai dari kesadaran terhadap perubahan sosial, adaptasi terhadap media massa, digitalisasi dakwah, hingga kolaborasi lintas generasi yang menghasilkan model dakwah yang inklusif, interaktif, dan berorientasi kemaslahatan. Pemanfaatan platform digital seperti NU Online, TVNU, dan media sosial menjadikan dakwah NU semakin luas jangkauannya tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah.

Abstract

This study explores the importance of risk management in decision-making within educational institutions. The research aims to understand how risk management contributes to effective, accountable, and data-based decision-making in schools. A qualitative literature review was used to collect and analyze information from books, journals, and official documents related to risk management and school administration. The findings indicate that schools face various internal and external risks, including administrative errors, limited budgets, human resource challenges, policy changes, and environmental factors. Implementing risk management allows schools to anticipate potential problems, plan appropriate mitigation strategies, strengthen governance, and cultivate a risk-aware culture among staff and stakeholders. These practices improve the quality of education services and enhance the organization’s readiness to respond to challenges. In conclusion, risk management functions not only as a preventive tool but also as a strategic approach to optimize school performance and ensure sustainable educational outcomes.

Abstract

The foundations of education are fundamental aspects that prospective teachers must understand to equip them for their professional roles in education. Understanding the foundations of education encompasses philosophical, sociological, psychological, and legal dimensions, serving as a foundation for designing, implementing, and disseminating the learning process. However, in practice, various problems persist, such as theoretical understanding, a lack of connection between concepts and practice, and limited student reflective skills. This situation impacts the suboptimal quality of teaching practice. This article aims to examine the concept and scope of the foundations of education, identify issues in student teachers' understanding, and analyze their impact on prospective teachers' practice. Furthermore, the discussion focuses on strategies for strengthening understanding of the foundations of education through curriculum integration, the application of active learning methods, reflective activities, collaboration with partner schools, and the provision of relevant learning resources. By understanding the foundations of education systematically and contextually, prospective teachers are expected to develop balanced pedagogical, professional, and personal competencies, thus preparing them to face future educational challenges.
