Abstract

Teacher communication is a critical factor for effective learning, particularly at the Primary School level, which demands supportive and empathetic pedagogical interaction. This research aims to analyze the communication behavior of teachers during the learning process at SD Negeri 20 Dadok Tunggul Hitam. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through a four-point Likert scale questionnaire, which consisted of four aspects: interpersonal communication, openness and empathy, message effectiveness, and feedback provision. The analysis results reveal that teachers possess strengths in their relational foundation, empathy, and clarity of material delivery. However, critical weaknesses were identified that impede the learning process, namely the inconsistency in providing feedback, an indication of disregarding student opinions during discussions, and the use of negative nonverbal communication (such as a harsh tone) during discipline enforcement. This finding confirms a significant gap between communicative awareness and practical pedagogical implementation. Therefore, intervention focusing on strengthening assertive communication competence and developing a structured feedback system is necessary to enhance participatory and sustainable learning quality.

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah pola komunikasi pemasaran dari yang bersifat satu arah menjadi lebih interaktif dan berbasis kepercayaan. Salah satu strategi pemasaran yang berkembang pesat adalah influencer marketing, khususnya pada industri skincare yang sangat bergantung pada rekomendasi dan pengalaman pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh influencer marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen produk skincare G2G dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi media sosial, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa influencer marketing berperan signifikan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan pembelian melalui pembentukan asosiasi merek yang positif, peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen, dan penguatan minat beli. Kredibilitas influencer, kesesuaian nilai influencer dengan merek, serta keaslian konten menjadi faktor utama dalam efektivitas influencer marketing. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi manajerial bagi perusahaan skincare lokal dalam merancang strategi pemasaran berbasis influencer yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Risk management plays a crucial role in strengthening the quality of governance within educational institutions. In the context of increasing organizational complexity and accountability demands, educational institutions are exposed to various risks that may affect institutional performance and sustainability. This article aims to examine how the implementation of risk management contributes to improving governance quality in educational institutions. The study adopts a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review and descriptive analysis of risk management concepts and practices applied in the education sector. The results indicate that effective risk management implementation, encompassing risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring, supports better strategic planning, enhances internal control mechanisms, and promotes transparency in institutional management. Moreover, the integration of risk management helps institutions anticipate potential disruptions and optimize resource utilization. Therefore, risk management should be regarded as an integral component of good governance practices to ensure continuous quality improvement in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the modern Islamic movement to the transformation of Indonesia’s national education through a historical and conceptual approach. Islamic modernism that developed since the 19th century, through figures such as al-Afghani, Abduh, and Rasyid Ridha, had a significant influence on Nusantara scholars who later applied its reformist ideas in Indonesia. Organizations such as Muhammadiyah, Al-Irsyad, and Persis became instruments for disseminating modernism through the development of modern educational institutions, the strengthening of rationality, and the integration of religious and general sciences. Historical studies show that the concept of modern education introduced by modernist movements helped shape the direction of national education policy from the early independence period to the Merdeka Belajar era. Meanwhile, the conceptual analysis reveals that the transformation of national education cannot be separated from social dynamics and the development of global pedagogical paradigms that emphasize flexibility, character, digital literacy, and student-centered learning. The results of this study affirm that the dialogue between the values of Islamic renewal and the needs of modernity has produced a national education pattern that is adaptive, rational, and relevant to the challenges of the 21st century. These findings are important as a basis for developing educational policies that integrate spirituality, rationality, and the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Abstract

This article seeks to explore the connection between work motivation and employee performance appraisal outcomes from a managerial psychology perspective through an in-depth review of the literature. The study adopts a library research approach by analyzing relevant academic journals, books, and recent scholarly publications. The review reveals that work motivation significantly influences employee attitudes and work behavior, which in turn affects performance evaluation results. Employees with stronger motivation tend to demonstrate higher commitment in achieving organizational performance targets. The study concludes that work motivation and performance appraisal function as interrelated managerial elements that require continuous and integrated management to enhance overall human resource performance..

Abstract

Emotional intelligence (EI) plays a critical role in enhancing individual motivation and team dynamics in the workplace. This study examines the impact of EI on employees’ ability to recognize, manage, and adapt their emotions, as well as understand others’ emotions, to support team and organizational performance. An analytical literature review approach was employed, integrating recent theories and research findings on EI dimensions, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, self-motivation, and social skills. The results indicate that EI not only improves individual effectiveness but also strengthens communication, collaboration, and team cohesion, while fostering employees’ intrinsic motivation. Practical implications highlight the importance of emotional competence-based training programs to enhance motivation, build team collaboration, and improve overall organizational performance. EI is a strategic asset for developing a productive and adaptive work culture.

Abstract

To achieve good governance, governments are required to implement an internal control system that is effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable. One of the key instruments to support this objective is the Government Internal Control System (SPIP). However, SPIP implementation in many government institutions still faces various challenges, including weak leadership commitment, unsupportive organizational culture, and limited human resource capacity. To address these challenges, a more adaptive and systematic approach through risk management is essential. This study uses a library research method by reviewing relevant literature and previous studies related to SPIP implementation and risk management in the public sector. The results indicate that the application of risk management enhances the effectiveness of all SPIP components, namely the control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and internal monitoring. The integration of risk management within SPIP not only supports the identification and mitigation of potential risks but also promotes a risk-aware culture within government organizations. Furthermore, optimization strategies such as strengthening leadership commitment, improving human resource capacity, integrating information technology, and conducting continuous monitoring are crucial in supporting risk-based SPIP implementation. Overall, the implementation of SPIP based on risk management contributes to improved accountability, transparency, organizational performance in government institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of inspirational classes in developing students' creativity, interests, and talents in all elementary schools within Nagari Muaro Takung. This activity was initiated due to the limited opportunities for student expression outside of formal learning, particularly during school holidays. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research involved 308 students from four elementary schools who participated in training for dance, silat, and painting. Data were collected through participatory observation, documentation, and interviews with teachers, students, and local community members. The findings indicate that inspirational classes positively contribute to an increase in students' self-confidence, creativity, social skills, and discipline. Furthermore, these activities also foster an enjoyable and meaningful learning environment and encourage social recognition of students' potential. This initiative serves as an example of the implementation of non-academic education based on collaboration and cultural aspects. These findings reinforce the importance of continuously organizing similar programs at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by geography teachers in creating a conducive classroom environment in East Kampar District by examining aspects of teacher personality, learning methods, and classroom management. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing five scientific articles related to learning strategies, learning environments, and the role of teachers in fostering a comfortable classroom atmosphere. The analysis was conducted by extracting key findings from each article and linking them to the learning needs of geography education in the research area. The findings indicate that geography teachers can create a conducive classroom environment through effective communication, empathetic attitudes, and interactive learning strategies such as Discovery Learning, which enhance student activity and participation. In addition, the arrangement of the physical and social classroom environment, as well as teachers’ ability to address curriculum-related challenges, also influence the conduciveness of learning. Overall, appropriate strategies can improve students’ comfort, motivation, and engagement in geography learning.

Abstract

The effectiveness of communication and negotiation is not solely determined by logical reasoning and factual information, but is also strongly influenced by psychological factors. This article examines the influence of perception, cognition, and emotion on the effectiveness of communication and negotiation processes. Perception affects how messages and intentions are interpreted, cognition shapes information processing and decision-making, while emotion influences attitudes, behaviors, and negotiation strategies. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this study analyzes how perceptual differences, cognitive biases, and emotional conditions impact mutual understanding and negotiation outcomes. The results indicate that positive perception, accurate cognitive processing, and effective emotional management significantly enhance communication effectiveness and increase the likelihood of successful negotiations. This study emphasizes the importance of psychological awareness in developing effective communication and negotiation strategies.
