Abstract

This community service article discusses the strengthening of management at Aisyiyah Boarding School Imadul Bilad through a participatory evaluation of parents' expectations and the leadership role of the mudir. The activity was designed to connect institutional targets, parent satisfaction, teacher capacity, student development, facilities, and partnership strategies into a measurable management roadmap. The method used was participatory action based on asset mapping, focus group discussions, document review, and SMART target formulation. This approach enabled stakeholders to actively identify institutional strengths, challenges, and opportunities for sustainable development. The program produced a management strengthening matrix for 2026–2027 covering student recruitment, tahfiz-tahsin achievement, parent satisfaction, teacher certification, pesantren business units, partnerships, language competence, facilities, and student character programs. The results indicate that evaluation based on parents' expectations becomes more effective when integrated with visionary, communicative, and evaluative leadership of the mudir. Furthermore, the activity encouraged stronger collaboration among school management, teachers, parents, and external partners in supporting educational quality improvement. This service activity recommends continuous monitoring, transparent communication with parents, periodic team evaluation, and systematic performance measurement as sustainable quality assurance mechanisms to ensure the achievement of institutional goals and long-term organizational development.
