Abstract

Becoming a great entrepreneur in the global era is not as easy as flipping the palm of your hand. A successful and happy great entrepreneur is not solely determined by high academic performance, a high IQ, or attending a prestigious school. In fact, GPA, IQ, and attending a top school do not even rank among the top ten factors that guarantee someone will become a great and successful entrepreneur. What truly determines entrepreneurial greatness and success are soft skills. The top 10 soft skills referred to are: Honesty (Being honest with all people) ranked first, followed by Strong Discipline (Being well-disciplined); Sociability (Getting along with people); Support from a Partner (Having a supportive spouse); Hard Work (Working harder than most people); Passion for the Work (Loving my career/business); Leadership (Having strong leadership qualities); Competitive Personality (Having a very competitive spirit/personality); Well-Organized Life (Being very well-organized); and finally, Ability to Sell Ideas (Having an ability to sell my ideas/products). These ten soft skills will become even more meaningful when accompanied by a good heart, positive thinking, wise words, good deeds, good habits, positive culture, and strong character—all of which shape good fortune. Ultimately, good fortune begins with a good heart.

Abstract

Article 6 of Law No. 4 of 1996 gives creditors the right to execute parate against the object of the mortgage. However, in decision No. 0112/Pdt.G/2017/MS-BNA, the Sharia Court annulled the deed of gift. This study aims to analyze the judge's considerations, the legal force of certificates and deeds in bank mortgages, and legal protection for mortgage holders. This study is a normative legal study. Data were collected and then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the judge annulled the gift because it did not meet the legal requirements according to Islamic law and the Compilation of Islamic Law. The decision has implications for the cancellation of all related documents, including the certificate of ownership, the deed of granting mortgage rights, and the credit agreement, so that they no longer have legal force as debt collateral. Legal protection of creditors due to cancellation of grants according to Article 11131 of the Civil Code, even though the collateral guarantee is cancelled, the creditor still has legal protection through general guarantees, namely that all of the debtor's assets can be used as objects of debt fulfillment and the creditor can request seizure of collateral and the application of the principle of good faith of the bank that has acted according to the procedure for granting credit. It is expected that judges will prioritize the principles of justice, proportionality, the principle of good faith, and substantive justice in banking and financing practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

To determine the rightful heirs must be determined in court voluntarily as regulated in Article 49 Letter b of Law Number 3 of 2006 concerning the Authority of Religious Courts. However, in reality there are heirs who are unwilling to submit an application for the determination of heirs, resulting in the obstruction of the rights of other heirs. The purpose of writing this thesis is to explain the procedures and special requirements in submitting a contentious determination of heirs, to explain the evidence of the applicants against the heirs, and to explain the efforts made to overcome obstacles in determining heirs contentiously. This research is an empirical legal research, data is obtained directly through interviews and literature reviews. Data is collected and then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that there are still many heirs who submit the determination of heirs voluntarily with a lack of parties and result in their decisions being declared unacceptable, but in terms of contention there are still many heirs, judges and lawyers who do not know that there are provisions in the Circular of the Supreme Court (SEMA) Number 5 of 2021- Formulation of the Law of the Religious Chamber-2.b there are special procedures and requirements and proof in the submission as well as obstacles and efforts that must be made in the application for determination of heirs contentiously which is different from voluntary. It is recommended that the Sharia Court provide information regarding the new provisions in submitting applications to both lawyers and interested parties in order to obtain legal certainty because many parties do not yet know these provisions.

Abstract

This article examines the 9-year basic education policy in Indonesia, which is an implementation of the 1945 Constitution to guarantee the right to education for all citizens. This policy aims to improve access and quality of education, improve the life of the nation, and create quality human resources. The review includes the history of the policy, starting from Law No. 4 of 1950 to the launch of the program by President Soeharto in 1984, as well as the influence of political interests and the modernization of Islamic education in the National Education System Law. The implementation of the policy involves a shared responsibility between the government, parents, and the community. Although it has been running, challenges such as low awareness of education and family economic conditions are still obstacles. Therefore, collaborative efforts and adequate funding are needed to ensure the provision of quality basic education, as well as open alternative education pathways. Sustainable policies such as the 12-year compulsory education program are expected to strengthen the foundation of education and increase access for future generations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of liquidity ratios on the corporate value of banking companies with the role of capital structure as a moderating variable. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of Bank Syariah Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021–2023. The method used is multiple regression analysis with a model that includes the interaction between liquidity ratios (Current Ratio) and capital structure (Debt to Equity Ratio) as a moderating variable on corporate value, measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). The results of the study show that liquidity ratios have a positive and significant impact on corporate value, while capital structure has a negative impact on corporate value. In addition, the interaction test shows that capital structure acts as a moderating variable that reduces the positive impact of liquidity ratios on corporate value. These findings indicate that although a high liquidity ratio can increase corporate value, this effect may be diminished if the bank has a capital structure more dominated by debt. This study provides important implications for bank management in balancing liquidity and capital structure to maximize corporate value.

Abstract

Globally operating companies face challenges in managing human resources from diverse cultural backgrounds. This paper highlights how the role of International Human Resource Management (IHRM) can support the improvement of cross-cultural leadership effectiveness while strengthening organizational competitiveness at the global level. Based on the analysis of various empirical studies, it is revealed that leadership success is highly dependent on the mastery of cross-cultural competencies, including cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and intercultural communication skills. Global leaders who are able to integrate local and international identities, and adopt transformational leadership approaches, tend to be more successful in building synergy and innovation in multicultural teams. Flexible IHRM approaches such as cross-cultural training and international work experience are key factors in shaping leaders with global capacity. The study also emphasizes the need for collaborative, context-relevant and sustainable leadership development strategies, and the importance of integrating inclusive IHRM practices to support organizational performance in a dynamic global work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program
