Abstract

Pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) tidak hanya menuntut penguasaan akademik, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal yang mendukung proses belajar siswa. Pengembangan kompetensi guru, khususnya dalam aspek pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian, serta lingkungan keluarga yang harmonis dan mendukung, secara signifikan memengaruhi motivasi, karakter, dan pencapaian akademik siswa, sehingga pemahaman komprehensif terhadap kedua faktor ini penting untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan pendidikan secara optimal. Studi ini bermaksu untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi guru PAI dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur melalui telaah berbagai jurnal, artikel, dan buku yang relevan dengan variabel studi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru PAI dan lingkungan keluarga berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, baik dari segi pemahaman materi maupun pembentukan karakter. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kompetensi guru PAI yang optimal dan dukungan lingkungan keluarga yang kondusif menjadi faktor utama dalam menunjang keberhasilan akademik siswa.

Abstract

The ability to read unvowelized Arabic texts is one of the essential skills that must be mastered by students of Arabic Language Education in understanding various Arabic literature sources. However, in the learning process, many students still experience difficulties in reading Arabic texts without vowel marks accurately. These difficulties include low mastery of nahwu and sharaf, lack of reading practice, and low self-confidence when reading Arabic texts. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the problems faced by students in reading unvowelized Arabic texts and to examine solutions that can improve the reading ability of Arabic Language Education students. This study employed a library research method by collecting various data sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and previous studies relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed descriptively through the processes of collecting, understanding, classifying, and drawing conclusions based on the reviewed sources. The results of the study indicate that the problems in reading unvowelized Arabic texts are influenced by linguistic factors, lack of reading habits, and less optimal learning methods. In addition, the findings reveal that learning methods combining theoretical reinforcement with regular reading practice can help improve students’ reading abilities. Lecturer support, the use of appropriate teaching materials, and continuous reading habits are also important factors in enhancing students’ reading skills. This study contributes to the development of Arabic language learning, particularly in improving the ability to read unvowelized Arabic texts among Arabic Language Education students.

Abstract

This analysis aims to examine the learning strategies for Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and Islamic Cultural History (ISCR) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Plus Ja-alHaq in Bengkulu City. Through a pedagogical analysis approach and practical review, this study identifies a paradigm shift from conventional memorization-based methods to a contextual, active, collaborative, and character-building-oriented approach. The analysis focused on the components of the approach, methods, media, assessment, and implementation challenges in the field. The results indicate that optimizing Fiqh learning requires a problem-based learning strategy (PBL) and hands-on practice, while ISCR requires a historical-critical and reflective approach through storytelling, role-play, mini-projects, and field studies. Integrating the two materials through integrated themes and Project-Based Learning (PJBL) is recommended to strengthen Islamic legal literacy and moderate Islamic identity. This study also presents a seven-component diagnostic analysis tool as an evaluation instrument for learning strategies. Practical implications include teacher training in 21st-century pedagogy, the development of integrated modules based on Bengkulu's local wisdom, and the implementation of authentic assessments in accordance with the Independent Curriculum. This article is expected to serve as a pedagogical reference and operational guide for teachers, supervisors, and Islamic education researchers in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged teachers to utilize interactive learning media in the classroom. One of the learning media that can be used is Zep Quiz, an animated and game-based learning platform capable of creating a more engaging learning atmosphere. This study aims to determine the implementation of animated learning media Zep Quiz, the obstacles and efforts in its implementation, and its implications for students’ learning interest in Hindu Religious Education and Character subjects in class VII F of SMP Negeri 1 Denpasar. This study used a qualitative approach with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The results showed that the implementation of Zep Quiz was carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages integrated into the Teaching Module. The use of Zep Quiz was able to create interactive learning, increase student participation, and foster students’ learning interest. Obstacles encountered included unstable internet networks, limited time in preparing media, and students being distracted by game elements. The efforts made by teachers included coordinating with the school IT team, preparing quiz templates, and providing learning guidance during activities. The use of Zep Quiz also had implications for the development of teacher creativity, more structured learning, and easier evaluation of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bullying in the school environment remains a serious issue that affects the psychological and social development of students. This study aims to analyze the educational and social roles of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in preventing and addressing bullying behavior at MAN 1 Pidie. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving PAI teachers, the madrasah principal, and students. The findings indicate that PAI teachers play a strategic role in creating a friendly and religious school climate through learning activities that instill moral values, empathy, and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah). In addition, the teachers’ social role is reflected through role modeling, character development, and personal interaction with students who experience or engage in bullying. The consistent efforts of PAI teachers contribute to the formation of a harmonious madrasah environment that respects differences and is free from verbal and physical violence.

Abstract

Although education has been given, there are still behaviors that are not in accordance with self-management in diabetes. So this study aims to explore the application of self-management in patients with diabetes mellitus to maintain stable blood glucose levels. This study uses a phenomenological approach with semi-structured interviews with 10 people with type 2 diabetes. The themes found in this study are clinical symptoms that determine the application of diabetes self-management, lack of motivation in the implementation of diet and activity management, the role of family in diet management. diabetes, the achievement of diabetes self-management has not been as expected, and psychological conditions that hinder diabetes self-management. The application of diabetes self-management in patients needs to be identified and evaluated further in order to help people with type 2 diabetes in determining the problem and finding the best solution to achieve stable blood glucose levels.
