Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di UMKM DOEL Café yang bergerak di bidang kuliner minuman tradisional yaitu Teh Susu Telur (TST). Permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh Doel Café adalah penurunan omset dikarenakan banyaknya pesaing pada bidang kuliner minuman yang terus bermunculan. Sehingga, tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan Doel Café. Adapun manfaat yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan nilai tambah ekonomi bagi usaha UMKM Doel Café. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu metode deskriptif, dimana dengan melakukan observasi di lapangan dan wawancara langsung kepada pemilik UMKM tersebut. Adapun kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah UMKM Doel Café kurang melakukan promosi melalui media sosial untuk menarik peminat baru, dan kurang adanya menu baru yang bisa membuat pelanggan merasa penasaran. Selain itu, pemilik UMKM juga kurang aktif dalam menggunakan sosial media serta toko online seperti Grab Food, Go Food dan Shopee Food.

Abstract

Kelangsungan hidup umat manusia dan pertanian menjadi dua hal yang saling bertalian dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Kegiatan produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi terganggu lambat laun ketahanan pangan keluarga akan berdampak buruk terhadap ketahanan nasional, maka kemampuan rumah tangga petani dituntut mampu meningkatkan produktivitas lahan dan pendapatan ekonomi petani sebagai indikator kesejahteraan dengan akses pangan secara mandiri. Melalui pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk kegiatan sosialiasi konsep kebun keluarga menuju “desa mandiri pangan” merupakan salah satu pemberdayaan masyarakat di perdesaan. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Jerowaru dengan metode ceramah dan praktek langsung, sasaran kegiatan yaitu kelompok wanita tani dan PKK. Pengabdian menunjukkan hasil pelaksanaan secara menyeluruh dan semua komponen berkerja dengan maksimal. Partisipasi peserta kegiatan pada kategori “antusias dan aktif”. Evaluasi dan tindak lanjut kegiatan yaitu menambah intensitas kegiatan, memanfaatkan berbagai sampah plastik untuk mengganti polybag, mengusahakan berbagai komoditi pangan berumur pendek dan tahan kekeringan, membuat pupuk organik dengan bahan baku lokal, serta melibatkan berbagai unsur masyarakat terutama dari kalangan generasi muda

Abstract

Digital Marketing Training in RT.06 Graha Indah Village, North Balikpapan District is a community service activity carried out by lecturers and students. This activity aims to provide practical experience to lecturers and students in developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies in helping the MSME community in the RT 06 area. Graha Indah Village, North Balikpapan District in maximizing product potential and improving their ability to market their products. Lecturers and students provide training using the Case Based Learning (CBL) method so that training participants can directly apply the learning outcomes to their respective products. Based on the data from the questionnaire given before and after the training, there was an increase in the ability of training participants to market their products. Abstract

The process of changing the position of the neck when using a smartphone will position the head down to look at the cellphone screen and maintain that position for a relatively long time. This condition will cause muscle problems and if left untreated, it will become chronic pain. Frequency of smartphone use, purpose of using the smartphone, flexion movements when using the smartphone, and body position are the main factors that can cause neck pain. Some of the problems that arise from using smartphones include the effects of addiction, anti-social behavior, and health problems such as neck pain, muscle fatigue and muscle stiffness. Neck pain is a perception of pain involving the cervical region including spinal structures in the form of invertebral discs, ligaments, muscles, acet joints and the nervous system which is caused by repetitive and accumulative trauma from excessive use of the neck. Global Burden Disease states that neck pain is one of the fourth musculoskeletal problems that causes life suffering due to disability, while neck exercises can overcome one of the complaints caused by smartphone use. The aim is to determine the factors associated with complaints of neck pain when using a cell phone. The method is carried out through face-to-face meetings by the Service team and then discussions are held regarding pain management material. Before being given the counseling material, a pre-test was carried out to determine the initial knowledge of the residents, after that health education was given, then a post-test was carried out to measure the increase in knowledge of Dawis Cempaka residents. The results show that there is an increase in health knowledge regarding neck exercises among smartphone users to reduce pain symptoms. Conclusion The health education activities ran smoothly and the aim of the activity was achieved, namely increasing the knowledge of the Dawis Cempaka community.

Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) or Lower Back Pain (NPB) is a health problem that is often encountered in society. Almost 70-80% of people in developed countries have experienced LBP. Every year 15-45% of adults suffer from LBP, and one in 20 sufferers must be hospitalized due to an acute attack. LBP often occurs at the age of 35-55 years and almost 80% of people in industrialized countries have experienced it. Obesity, stress, and sometimes depression can result in LBP. Chronic LBP sufferers usually experience dependence on several types of analgesics, which is the most common reason to seek treatment. The aim of the activity is to teach the public how to treat lower back pain non-pharmacologically. The educational method is by lecture and discussion/question and answer. The target of the activity is adults 30 years and over. The organizers of the activity were 3 lecturers and students from the Insan Husada Surakarta Polytechnic. The target location is at Dasa Wisma Cempaka Mojosongo Jebres Surakarta. A total of 25 Dawis residents took part in this activity on November 5 2023 for 60 minutes. The outreach activities went well according to the target and plan, and all Dawis residents were able to take part in the outreach activities on low back pain management. The level of knowledge of Dawis Cempaka residents pre and post has improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is so that MSME actors can prepare business proposals and be able to analyze financial statements so that MSMEs are realized as efficient, healthy and high-growth businesses, able to become the people's economic strength and make a great contribution to national economic development. The activity began with observation and correspondence through WA to find out the needs of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Then it was carried out by delivering material related to Improving the Quality of Financial Reports Using the Zahir Application. Community Empowerment Activities for MSMEs Through Improving the Quality of Financial Reports Using the Zahir Application at the Zet Chici Souvenir Center were carried out in accordance with what was expected. This can be seen from the positive response of MSME actors. It is hoped that in the future similar training and mentoring activities can be held again in order to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in compiling financial statements and analyzing financial statements in order to access capital in banking institutions and other financial institutions

Abstract

The use of Microsoft Excel is very helpful in making tables, graphs, financial reporting and so on. The tools in Microsoft Excel provide convenience to its users. However, in fact, in the era of the development of science and technology, many people are still not familiar with the use of Microsoft Excel. Especially youth in Enggros Village, Jayapura City who are still collecting data manually or in writing and also few of them can operate Microsoft Excel. This community service aims to increase hardskills related to knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel so that it can facilitate data processing and help in completing the performance of youth and the people of Enggros Village by utilizing Microsoft Excel. This service is in the form of socialization with stages of surveys, participant data collection, program preparation, provision of materials, training, question and answer sessions and pre-tests and post-tests are carried out for activity evaluation. The community service lasted for 2 days, with 18 participants. The evaluation results after this community service activity showed that 78% of participants knew and could operate Microsoft Excel very well and had values ​​that were in accordance with expectations.

Abstract

Inappropriate use of plastic can cause health problems, including the risk of cancer and tissue damage in the human body. Another problem related to plastic is that global plastic waste production has increased dramatically over the past few decades, giving rise to severe environmental and health challenges. This outreach activity aims to increase public awareness about the safe and correct use of plastic and management of household waste that does not endanger health and has no impact on the environment. The community service activity was attended by around 37 housewives in Cisasah Masjid village, Purwasari Village. Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. Participants were given education regarding types of plastic and their safe use for food and household waste management. Participants were also given a questionnaire regarding knowledge and attitudes regarding plastic waste management. The results show that the majority of participants have good knowledge and attitudes regarding plastic waste management

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's growth and development are stunted due to chronic malnutrition, inadequate care, and poor living conditions, usually occurring in the early years of life, especially before the age of five. Stunting is often characterized by low height for a given age, indicating that the child's height is well below the average height for his or her age group. What more in developing countries, for example Indonesia itself. There are several areas that have stunting problems that are very easy to find, for example in Central Aceh. Aceh Tengah has a fairly high stunting ranking in several regions. Nutrition is a factor that we need to take care of because nutrition has an important role for our bodies and the optimal growth and development of children. Avocados contain nutrients and unsaturated fats that are good for babies, which are needed to support their brain and body development. Avocados are high in nutrients for babies such as vitamins and minerals. Some of these include vitamins C, A, K, E, and B6, as well as folate, thiamin, calcium, iron, potassium, and sodium. Avocado Utilization as PMT in Stunting Prevention Efforts in Segene Balik Village. The method used in this service is the socialization method by distributing brochures introducing one of the avocado preparations that can be useful for preventing stunting, namely avocado dessert. Abstract

Analog-based robotic training is one of the educational innovations that improves students' creativity and critical thinking skills. This activity aims to describe the implementation of analog line follower robotic training at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 19 Rogojampi as an effort to foster students' creativity, interest, and skills in technology. The method used is descriptive with a participatory approach, involving grade VI students as participants. This training begins with a theory of introducing the basics of robotics and its supporting electronic components, followed by the practice of assembling a simple analog line follower robot. The results of the training showed that students were able to understand the basic concepts of robotics and succeeded in making a robot that could follow the path independently. In addition, this activity also increased students' creativity through technology. Analog Line Follower robotic training at the Creative School of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 19 Rogojampi has a positive impact on fostering students' interest in technology and building 21st-century skills such as collaboration and innovation. Similar programs are recommended to be implemented in other schools to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)-based learning.
