Abstract

The Cham people, the majority of whom adhere to Hinduism, have dominated the central and southern regions of Vietnam for centuries. Vietnam became one of the first countries in Asia to interact with Islam over time. Improvements in the lives of Muslims in Vietnam have occurred since the socialist government implemented the Doi Moi (Renovation) policy in 1986, allowing native Muslim communities to perform congregational prayers. Although the majority of Vietnam's population follows Buddhism, Islam in the country is a minority religion. Factors such as religion, socialism, and remote geographical location have influenced the Muslim minority in Vietnam. This sets Vietnam apart from other Southeast Asian countries with more accessible geographical locations for Muslim traders or merchants. The research problem is summarized as follows: 1. To determine when Islam entered Vietnam. 2. To identify the Islamic schools of thought followed by Muslims in Vietnam. 3. To understand the current status of Islam in Vietnam. Qualitative research methods are applied in this study, and qualitative analysis findings indicate that the history of Islam in Vietnam is predominantly associated with the Cham ethnic group. It is estimated that Islam entered the territory of the Champa kingdom during the Zong dynasty in Champa during the period from 960-1280 CE. Thus, the spread of Islam has had a significant impact both domestically and internationally, widely influencing society to this day.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a virtual learning platform that integrates Indonesian language learning with the introduction of Indonesian culture called "ICULTOURE.ID." The research method used is the ADDIE model development (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research results indicate that from the needs analysis, it was revealed that there is a significant demand from teachers and students for more innovative and engaging learning methods. Additionally, curriculum studies show the existence of competencies and indicators that support the integration of the Indonesian language with cultural introduction. Parties involved in the development and implementation include teachers, students, technology developers, curriculum experts, and research teams. Teachers need to be involved in introducing and managing the use of this platform in the classroom, while students need to be engaged in providing feedback on design and content. Technology developers are responsible for developing technical infrastructure and platform features that support interactive learning. Curriculum experts offer valuable insights in developing learning materials that align with applicable curriculum standards. The research team plays a role in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of this platform. It is hoped that the development of "ICULTOURE.ID" can provide innovative solutions to enhance Indonesian language learning and cultural introduction in high schools and contribute to efforts to revitalize Indonesian culture among the younger generation.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the most important factors in determining the success of the learning process. This study aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes of seventh grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Sidoarjo before and after implementing ICT learning media. The type of approach in this research is a quantitative approach with an experimental type using data collection techniques through pre-test and post-test. This study uses a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design which is implemented only on one randomly selected group and no stability test is also done to clarify the condition of the group before being given treatment. The results of the research were analyzed using non-parametric tests, namely the Wilcoxon test, which produced a significance value of 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05. This shows that there is an increase between the pretest and posttest scores, which means there is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after using learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) based learning material design that utilizes local wisdom in fostering creative thinking abilities during Society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with students and lecturers, document analysis of teaching materials, and documentation studies. The research results show that the design of PBL-based teaching materials with the integration of local wisdom is effective in increasing student involvement in learning and training their creative thinking skills. The project-based learning process encourages collaboration between students and intense interaction with local communities, while the integration of local wisdom makes learning more relevant and contextual for students. The implications of this research show the importance of developing learning design skills for lecturers, active involvement of students in learning, and the need for further research to explore the effectiveness of this approach in a broader educational context. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to improving the quality of education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and effectiveness of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model in improving students' problem-solving abilities in Ecology material for Grade VII. The research method used was an experiment with a quantitative research approach and also used a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, pre-tests and post-tests. The validity test of the instrument used validity and reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and T tests. The research findings showed that the CPS learning model was effective in improving students' problem-solving capacity in the ecology curriculum for grade VII. This was due to a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, where the post-test scores were higher than the pre-test scores. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that the CPS learning paradigm be used in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe learning activities and improve learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in class V students using an audiovisual-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) with research subjects of 26 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and tests, while data analysis is based on the results of the cycle during the learning process. The research results show that the use of an audiovisual-based PBL model significantly increases student learning activities. Student learning activities in cycle I had an average of 2.7 (fairly good category), and increased to 3.8 (good category) in cycle II. Teacher activity also showed an increase from an average of 2.5 (fair category) in cycle I to 3.7 (good category) in cycle II. Apart from that, students' science and science learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase. In pre-action, students' classical completeness only reached 51% with an average score of 66. In cycle I, classical completeness increased to 65% with an average score of 75, and in cycle II it reached 95% with an average score of 90. Research This concludes that the audiovisual-based PBL model is effective in improving learning activities and science learning outcomes in fifth grade students.

Abstract

Education is a field for seeking provisions to make a life, because to make a life, humanity needs education that will teach procedures so that relationships with the creator, government, each other and the environment can run well. Therefore, education is very important so that state law and religion, especially Islam, requires its followers to seek knowledge or pursue education, as is contained in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which discuss the importance of education. The Prophet Muhammad SAW himself had practiced this education with his friends, so that it was followed by his friends and so on in all scientific disciplines, especially in spreading and teaching Islamic teachings. Until now, we have found that in Indonesia itself there are many educational institutions spread throughout Indonesia, both formal and non-formal. The aim of this research is to explore motivation for learning through descriptions of several hadiths of the Prophet who commanded the pursuit of knowledge. The data collection process was carried out by collecting in-depth information and data through various literature, notes, hadith books, magazines, books, journals, articles and various other sources. Then, that is what is studied, analyzed and described. The results of the analysis gave rise to three discussions, namely the meaning of Hadith and education, the priority of knowledgeable people, and Hadith about the importance of education. A study of  these three themes is very useful for understanding how important education is from a Hadith perspective.
