Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the management strategies used by Islamic Boarding School in implementing bilingualism within and beyond classroom settings, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of bilingual learning activities in achieving linguistic and educational goals. In an increasingly interconnected and globalized world, mastery of foreign languages such as English, Arabic, and others is a valuable skill. Bilingual learning programs in madrasas play a significant role in fostering such skills, equipping students with enhanced academic, professional, and personal opportunities. This study employs a qualitative approach using an ethnographic research design. Data collection methods include direct field observations, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and analysis of relevant documents. The data analysis process involves reduction, presentation, validation, and conclusion drawing to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The research reveals that bilingual learning at Islamic Boarding School is implemented through a well-conceptualized strategy aimed at achieving specific language standards. The school integrates bilingual education both inside and outside the classroom, fostering an immersive learning environment that supports language acquisition. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of effective bilingual education management in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of transformational leadership on improving education in Islamic primary schools. The study was motivated by the increasing need for effective leadership in educational institutions to adapt to the demands of an ever-evolving society and foster a culture of excellence. Transformational leadership, known for its ability to inspire and empower subordinates, has been proposed as a key factor in driving positive change in educational environments. A qualitative case study approach was used, using participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to collect data. The findings of the study indicate that transformational leadership in Islamic primary schools has significantly increased teacher motivation, collaboration, and commitment to school development. Teachers reported feeling more involved in the decision-making process, leading to improved teaching practices and overall school performance. The village head’s leadership, characterized by openness, empathy, and teacher empowerment, created an environment conducive to continued growth. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of how transformational leadership can positively impact educational institutions, providing valuable insights for other schools seeking to implement change and improve the quality of their services.

Abstract

This study analyses forming religious values ​​in the context of leadership change in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study is based on the importance of leadership in maintaining religious values ​​in Islamic educational institutions, especially during the leadership transition period, which often raises organizational challenges. This study uses a qualitative and case study approach to explore phenomena. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing steps. This study focuses on educational institutions' strategies, roles, and internal support in maintaining religious values. The study results indicate that leadership has a crucial role in maintaining and developing religious values; strategies used to maintain religious values ​​involve preserving existing traditions and implementing religion-based programs; support from teachers and staff plays a significant role in realizing a sustainable religious environment. The study's results are expected to contribute to developing effective leadership models in Islamic educational institutions, especially in structural change, and enrich the literature on education based on religious values.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Kiai communication in improving organizational performance in Islamic Boarding Schools. This study focuses on the communication strategies used by Kiai, especially in bridging internal and external communication channels to strengthen the identity of the Islamic boarding school. A qualitative case study approach was used to collect data through interviews, observations, and document analysis with data analysis, according to Miles and Huberman. The findings of the study revealed that the charismatic and empathetic communication style of Kiai fosters loyalty among students, administrators, and the wider community, thereby improving organizational performance. This study is expected to contribute to understanding how effective leadership communication can create a cohesive and high-performance educational environment and provide insights for other Islamic boarding schools that want to strengthen their organizational dynamics through communication.

Abstract

This study explores the role of educator management in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah focusing on key factors such as educator professionalism, leadership, and collaboration between educators, students, and parents. The purpose of this research is to examine how the transformation of educator management, particularly through professional development and leadership, impacts educational outcomes. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collected from observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that continuous professional development, including pedagogical training and technology integration, significantly enhances educator competency, leading to more effective teaching practices. Furthermore, the leadership of the school principal plays a crucial role in shaping the educator management process, where clear vision, participatory decision-making, and transparent communication foster collaboration among educators and motivate them to improve their performance. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of collaboration between educators, students, and parents, as it strengthens communication, increases parental involvement, and ultimately boosts student motivation and academic achievement. These findings suggest that developing a collaborative and well-managed educational environment can lead to better student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the approaches in community building, positive habits in educational institutions, and support services and stakeholders in two educational institutions with a comparative concept in dealing with teacher burnout. The focus of this study is to explore how both institutions implement positive habits and stakeholder engagement in an effort to improve the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which includes observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders in both institutions. The findings indicate that community and positive habits are built through a profoundly spiritual approach, while in the second institution, the main focus is on collaboration between stakeholders and the development of positive habits in the context of modern education. Both institutions show that adequate stakeholder support, such as teacher training and parent involvement, plays an important role in creating a supportive educational environment. The contribution of this study is to provide new insights into understanding the influence of community, positive habits, and the role of stakeholders in improving the quality of education and to suggest an integration between spiritual and modern approaches to achieve more holistic educational success.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the concept of fashion trends according to the perspective of Islamic education and its implications for the social behavior of students at the Faculty of Islamic University. The background to this research is the development of fashion trends in Indonesia which follows the flow of modernization, which is also felt by Islamic Education students at the faculty. Using qualitative methods with descriptive analysis, data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, with human instrument techniques for selecting informants. The research results show that the concept of fashion trends from an Islamic education perspective includes an understanding of the intimate parts, fashion models, and the fashion materials used. The implications of this fashion trend for student social behavior include self-awareness, morals, character formation, and personal branding. Motivation for fashion trends from an Islamic education perspective is influenced by the educational environment and self-will based on religious awareness, which has an impact on psychological, sociological and religious aspects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of science and technology in the current era of modernization which has a great influence on various areas of community life, especially in the fields of education, social, and culture, including in Islamic boarding school education. With a focus on knowing the implementation of Islamic boarding school-based madrasah management and to find out the development of students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques are interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Islamic Boarding School-Based Madrasah Management that is applied has an impact on the activities of students at Ma'had whose concept is directed to carry out activities related to Islamic boarding school education and curriculum, the development given to students is given with various methods, namely through approaches and motivation, accompanied by three development indicators, namely, attendance level, ability and encouragement.

Abstract

Building a strong and sustainable brand image is a crucial strategy for companies to gain a competitive advantage and foster customer trust and loyalty. A well-established brand image enhances brand recognition while reinforcing consumer engagement and long-term commitment. This article explores essential aspects of building a lasting brand image, ranging from a deep understanding of brand values and identity to the implementation of consistent and authentic communication strategies. Emphasis is placed on continuous innovation, reputation management, and active engagement with target audiences. Through case studies and in-depth analysis, this article discusses the challenges and solutions involved in maintaining a brand image that remains relevant in an ever-evolving market landscape. The findings of this research highlight the significance of social skills development, effective communication, and the ability to handle conflicts constructively as critical components in brand sustainability. Social skills play a pivotal role in strengthening brand-community relationships, while effective communication ensures brand messages are consistently conveyed to maintain credibility and trust. Additionally, the capacity to manage conflicts constructively enhances stakeholder engagement and institutional reputation, particularly in the educational sector. This study provides practical guidance and strategic insights for companies and institutions seeking to build a resilient and impactful brand image in today's dynamic environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance principles in the management of cooperatives in junior high schools as a strategic management approach. This study is driven by the importance of implementing GCG in junior high school cooperatives to improve transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency, which are challenges in managing educational cooperatives. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Data were collected from cooperative managers, teachers, and cooperative members which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results of the study indicate that although GCG principles such as transparency, accountability, and member participation have been implemented, there are still shortcomings in terms of effective internal supervision and performance measurement. Cooperative management is still constrained by technological limitations and lack of member involvement in cooperative evaluation. This study contributes insight into the implementation of GCG in the context of junior high school cooperatives, as well as providing recommendations for improving supervision, efficiency, and sustainability of cooperatives through a more structured GCG implementation that involves all related parties.
