Jurnal Teknologi Informasi untuk Masyarakat selanjutnya disebut Jurnal Teknokrat dengan e-ISSN: 3030-8151 adalah Open Journal System (OJS) yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Teknik Universitas Hamzanwadi. Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Teknokrat merupakan wadah bagi para akademisi, praktisi, ataupun masyarakat untuk mempublikasikan berbagai hasil refleksi konseptual ataupun gagasan orisinil yang telah dilaksanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan belum pernah dipublikasikan. Abstract

The website-based water bill payment information system at BUMDes Saling Sedok is a system used to carry out tariff management, more efficient customer data management, daily and monthly reports and outstanding bills along with water meter recording. It is hoped that this water bill payment information system will make it easier for officers or managers to carry out management by storing and processing payment transaction data from existing customers. The research method used is the waterfall method in planning and development, while the power collection method uses observation and interview methods starting from analysis, planning, designing and creating a website-based water bill payment information system with the achievements of the stages that occur in managing water bill payment power. it becomes easier, more effective and efficient. The software used for program design and implementation uses xampp as the web server, phpMySQL as the database and visual studio code as the text editor for writing php and html scripts. The results of this community service research include a project to design a website-based water bill payment information system to make it easier for officers to record water bill reports such as customer data, tariff data, bill data and water meter usage data. Using information system testing with the black box testing method and the final stage is implementing the information system which includes the implementation of software, hardware, databases and interfaces of the resulting information system

Abstract

Abstract: The village employee attendance system using RFID and NodeMCU based on Telegram is designed to automate the employee attendance recording process. This system utilizes RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and NodeMCU (ESP8266) to read RFID cards as employee identifiers. Attendance data is then automatically sent through a Telegram bot. NodeMCU acts as the RFID reader and message sender to the Telegram bot, while the Telegram bot records the employee’s attendance time and provides confirmation of attendance. During testing, when an employee scans a valid RFID card, the system sends a success message to Telegram, and the buzzer sounds for 2 seconds as an indicator. Conversely, if the card is invalid, a failure message is sent, and the buzzer sounds briefly. This system enhances the efficiency of attendance recording, reduces manual entry errors, and allows real-time management of attendance data. As a result, it not only simplifies the attendance process but also allows integration with larger attendance management systems.

Abstract

In the current digital era, developments in information and communication technology have brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the government sector. Village government, as one of the smallest government units, is required to follow technological developments in order to improve the quality of services to the community. Digitalization services are an effective solution in responding to the challenges of the times, especially in Tetebatu Village which is still oriented towards conventional services. Creating a village website is one form of application of digital technology which plays an important role in speeding up the public service process, information transparency, and increasing community participation. Through the website, the village government can convey information quickly and on target, from activity announcements to online village programs. Therefore, creating a village website as a means of digitizing village services is expected to be a solution to increasing the efficiency of public services, strengthening information transparency, and opening wider access for the community in various aspects of life in the village. It is hoped that this initiative can be the first step towards a village that is more modern, competitive and ready to face the digital era

Abstract

The use of information technology in education, especially in rural areas, is crucial for improving students' skills. This study aims to enhance the skills of SMAN 1 Sakra Timur students in operating Microsoft Office applications through intensive training focused on hands-on practice. The program lasts for 18 days, involving 15 students with a participatory method and step-by-step evaluation. The training material covers an introduction to basic to advanced features of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Evaluation is carried out using pre-tests and post-tests, showing an increase in the average score from 45 to 85 percent. Students also provide positive feedback and appreciate the interactive approach used. The results of this training demonstrate that a practice-based approach is highly effective in improving the digital competencies of students at SMAN 1 Sakra Timur. This program is expected to inspire other schools to adopt similar training, enabling students to better face the challenges of the digital era and prepare for an increasingly competitive world of work and education.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has a significant impact on various sectors, including education. To implement information technology, one of them is to create a website-based school information system. The Website-based School Information System aims to support the process of delivering information quickly and accurately. The activity of creating a website-based information system at Elementary School (SDN) 6 Masbagik Selatan was created because there was no website-based information system. This website is designed using the PHP programming language and is supported by XAMPP as a local server, with the following targets: introducing the school profile, conveying the latest information, and promoting the school and its activities widely to the community, so that the existence of SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan can be known in its entirety. This system includes various features such as the home page, school history, teacher list, student list, announcements, and activity gallery. Through this system, SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan can provide more transparent and efficient information services to the community. This system has been completed with Online status and can be accessed by the wider community, so that the community is satisfied, especially the school consisting of school management, staff and teachers of SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan. In addition, this website has also strengthened the relationship between the school and parents of students, as well as supporting the promotion of the school widely.

Abstract

Virtual laboratories offer a great way to overcome the limitations of physical laboratories and make learning more interactive and meaningful in the modern era. Moreover, some schools have limitations in physical laboratories. On the other hand, teacher skills in managing and using virtual laboratories are still very minimal. Some teachers even do not know about virtual simulations such as PhET or livewire. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the ability of prospective teacher students to utilize science learning technology through training using virtual laboratories created by PhET (Physics Education Technology). This PkM activity was carried out on prospective teacher students at Hamzanwadi University. The number of participants was 40 people and was carried out for 4 days. There are 3 core stages of PkM activities, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the activity showed that participants better understood the functions and benefits of virtual laboratories. They are also better able to create inventive and technology-based science learning plans. Participants also felt satisfied and very satisfied with the training activities

Abstract

The Teaching Assistance Program is one of the implementations of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which aims to provide opportunities for students to participate in teaching and deepening their knowledge by becoming teachers, facilitators, tutors, trainers, or mentors in educational institutions within the community. This article documents the implementation of the Teaching Assistance Program by students of Universitas Airlangga at EL DE'OT Private Course. The students play the role of teaching assistants, creating teaching materials and being directly involved in the teaching and learning process in a non-formal institution in the form of private tutoring. In its implementation, students learn how to prepare teaching materials and teach using various teaching approaches, including fun learning, interactive PowerPoint, and exercises. It can be concluded that the program's objectives were successfully achieved, and the program provided various positive impacts for the students, the learners, and EL DE'OT Private Course as the institution where the teaching assistance took place. The students gained teaching experience, the learners acquired knowledge, and the institution involved obtained learning materials that could be used in the future.

Abstract

The rise of digital technology requires students to understand the importance of protecting personal data and practicing ethical behavior in online interactions. This study presents a community outreach activity conducted at SMP Negeri 9 Pangkalpinang aimed at improving students' digital literacy, particularly in data security and social media ethics. Using a qualitative approach, the program included material presentations, interactive discussions, and an evaluative quiz. The results revealed that all participants successfully answered the quiz questions, indicating a strong grasp of the topics presented. The interactive learning method, combined with incentives, effectively increased student participation and comprehension. This initiative demonstrates the importance of structured educational efforts in developing responsible digital habits and awareness among adolescents.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of home-based industry actors in East Lombok Regency through training on the utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The main challenges faced by small business actors in this area include limited access to digital technology and a lack of skills in leveraging ICT to support business activities, particularly in promotion, financial record-keeping, and online product marketing. Using a participatory approach, the training activities covered basic computer usage, the use of social media as a marketing tool, and an introduction to e-commerce platforms. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, as reflected in their ability to manage digital business accounts, expand marketing reach, and optimize the use of business-supporting applications. This activity is expected to serve as a model for digital technology-based economic empowerment in rural areas. Keywords: ICT training, home industry, empowerment, MSMEs, East Lombok

Abstract

The training for students majoring in software engineering aims to help students improve their expertise in web programming to prepare them for the world of work in the field of computer science programming. Currently, technical skills in programming are in great demand, especially for students majoring in Software Engineering because having a diploma alone is not enough to enter the world of work. Therefore, the team from the information systems study program, Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University, held training for vocational high school students with the aim of making a real contribution to society as part of the tridharma of higher education. The target of this activity is class XI students majoring in Software Engineering at SMKN 1 Pringgasela who are the main partners. The target and output of this activity is to increase students' skills in the field of web programming. The method used is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). This activity is carried out by providing training and mentoring in theory and practice. With this expertise competency training, especially in the field of web programming, it is hoped that it can help students prepare themselves before entering the world of work in the future
