Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Teknokrat merupakan wadah bagi para akademisi, praktisi, ataupun masyarakat untuk mempublikasikan berbagai hasil refleksi konseptual ataupun gagasan orisinil yang telah dilaksanakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan belum pernah dipublikasikan. Abstract

The development of information technology today has had a significant impact in various sectors of life, including in the management of village government administration. Technology facilitates the process of delivering information that is fast, accurate, and not limited by time and place. Darmasari Village, which is part of Pemangkat Subdistrict, experiences several challenges in population administration services, such as inefficiency in recording and managing population data. Through the Bina Desa Community Service Program (KKN), training on population information systems is expected to improve efficiency in recording population data. The implementation of the population information system aims to simplify administrative processes and accelerate public services, and ensure data transparency that can be accessed by the community without the need to come directly to the village office. With this training, it is hoped that village officials can be more effective in carrying out their duties, and improve the quality of services to the people of Darmasari Village.

Abstract

With the development of industrial technology, this requires students to continue to adapt to keep up with technological developments. The increasing use of internet technology is not only popular among students but also in various agencies in the world of work. At a basic level, understanding network installation and configuration is one of the competencies taught in the Informatics and networking department at Vocational High Schools (SMK). The existence of network technology causes many conveniences including students being able to share resources such as scanners, printers, hard disks and others by simply connecting to the network. There are so many benefits that will be obtained by students by mastering skills in the field of network technology. This is one of the reasons for conducting training to improve student competence in the field of network installation and configuration. The method applied in this training activity is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) where this method is an approach used in community development that focuses on the active participation of the community in the learning and decision-making process. The results of this activity are expected to have a positive impact on the competence of students at SMKs NWDI Wanasaba in the field of computer network technology so as to increase student confidence in facing school competency exams.

Abstract

Computer networks are one of the important subjects in the field of information technology. Various types of computer network devices continue to innovate to adapt to technological developments. Mikrotik is one of the router products that is widely used to implement a network system. As an educator, in this case a lecturer is required to implement the Tri Darma every year, one of which is PKM, namely Community Service, which this year is focused on the Computer Department at SMKN 1 Peringgasela. The aim of this training is to increase understanding and competence in the field of computer networks using Mikrotik, and to prepare students to face the Skills Competency Examination (UKK) as well as providing preparation for the implementation of the PSG and when they graduate. The training methods used are lectures and practice (Demostration). The results of this training activity in general, apart from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the students, include several components, namely: 1) Success in training, 2) Achievement of planned research objectives, 3) Achievement of planned material targets

Abstract

According to Law Number 18 of 2008 article 1 concerning waste, it is stated that waste is the residue of daily human activities and / or natural processes in the form of solid or semi-solid in the form of organic or inorganic substances that can be decomposed or cannot be decomposed which are considered no longer useful and disposed of in the environment. Based on its type, waste can be divided into organic and inorganic waste. Plastic waste is one of the inorganic waste that is very difficult to decompose in the environment and is very dangerous for the life of living things on this earth, including humans. Some global studies such as Jambeck et al (2015) state that plastic waste generation in Indonesia amounted to 3.2 million tons in 2010, about 1.29 million tons into marine waters. Even in another study stated that plastic waste generation of 5.4 million tons per year is equivalent to 14% of total waste while recycling plastic waste is only about 5% of total waste. In order to provide knowledge and experience to the younger generation, especially students, the Environmental Engineering Study Program of Hamzanwadi University organizes plastic waste recycling training in support of the zero waste school movement as a concrete action to help manage inorganic waste into new items that have benefits again. In addition, it also helps break the supply chain of plastic waste going to the landfill or being dumped around the school and residential environment.Keyword: Recycling, Plastic, Zero Waste

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology currently plays a very important role in various aspects of life, including village government. The use of computerized technology and information systems can increase efficiency, accuracy and transparency in public services. The Menceh Village Office is a place where village residents can gather to carry out various village activities or events, such as socialization held by the village government, village meetings, managing correspondence, and other administrative activities. Apart from that, the Village Office also functions as a place that provides information for village residents. To complete the facilities there, we from the SDGs-Based Village Development KKN, Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University took the initiative to create running text that can be used to display information or announcements. Previously the Village Office did not have an information board. With running text to display important information at the Village Office, it is hoped that it will be able to help village residents in obtaining important information and announcements from the Menceh Village government.

Abstract

The development of information technology demands society to participate in developing itself. But the fact is that there are still many people who do not understand technology especially related to computers. More specifically in primary school students, there is still minimal knowledge about computer operation and Microsoft word. Therefore it is necessary to conduct training on the basics of computers. This training will be held on October 1-3, 2024 at the hall of the village office Masbagik Timur. This training activity consists of 4 stages, namely the analysis of needs and identification of problems of students in the village of East Masbagik related to computer technology, the preparation of training materials, this activity is training for 3 days, and the last is the evaluation of training activities. Based on the training activities it was concluded that these training activities went smoothly and followed the initial objectives of the training activities. The enthusiasm of primary school students to attend this training is quite high

Abstract

Convection waste consists of leftover fabric from daily clothing production by some members of the community. The convection produced includes various types of fabric that result in garments such as school uniforms, pillowcases, prayer garments, nightgowns, dresses, and more. Before becoming clothes, the fabric is cut according to the model. after the fabric is cut into parts of the garment, this process produces fabric scraps or what is called patchwork fabric. Because patchwork fabric is the result of small cuts, the technique used in making products such as mats or pouches is the Blended Technique to make it more effective in its utilization. At first glance, these leftover fabric pieces seem useless, but in reality, the remnants from cutting clothes can be utilized to create something useful or products that are more beneficial than being discarded as waste. It is better to use them as more useful items. Convection waste, if not properly managed, can have a negative impact on our surrounding environment. This is because textile waste has characteristics such as a slow decomposition rate, the potential to damage soil biota, the ability to pollute the air when burned, and the capacity to clog waterways, leading to flooding. Therefore, we provide assistance in processing patchwork fabric waste, which is reprocessed into products with higher economic value by turning the fabric waste into more useful items, such as mats, flower pots, hair ties, mask connectors, and so on, using the Blended Technique sewn with a sewing machine. In addition to being environmentally friendly, it has economic value when sold and can increase income for the community

Abstract

This service aims to help students improve their readiness and skills in completing the Software Engineering Competency Test. Currently, the national exam is no longer a determinant of vocational high school student graduation based on government regulations through the Ministry of Education and Culture which regulates policies and criteria for student graduation. The school has full authority to determine the graduation requirements for its students, but these requirements must be in accordance with the circular issued by the Government. The target of this activity is students of SMKN 1 Pringgasela who are the main partners. The target and output of this activity is to increase skills in working on competency test questions. The method used is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). This activity is carried out by providing knowledge and skills in theory and practice. With the training of competency skills, especially in the field of Software Engineering, it is hoped that it can help students prepare for the competency test to get maximum results and improve student competence

Abstract

Managing public complaints is an important aspect in improving the quality of public services, especially as a means of bridging the needs and aspirations of the community to the government. However, in Kalijaga Tengah Village, Aikmel District, East Lombok Regency, the process of managing public complaints is still carried out manually, such as through oral submissions or written letters, which often faces various obstacles, including disorganized recording, difficulty tracking the status of complaints, and slow response. This can hinder efforts to improve public services and reduce the level of public trust in village government. To overcome these challenges, innovation is needed in the form of implementing  a web-based information system designed to increase efficiency, transparency and accuracy in managing public complaints. This information system allows the public to submit complaints online, monitor progress in handling complaints, and receive responses more quickly . On theother hand, village officials can manage complaint data in a structured manner, prioritize handling, and produce reports that support effective decision making. Apart from that, this system is expected to encourage active community participation in village governance, strengthen relations between the community and village government, and be the first step in the modernization of information technology-based administration. The implementation of this system not only aims to improve the quality of public services in Central Kalijaga Village, but also as a model for effective application of technology in the rural environment, which integrates traditional values ​​with modern technological innovation

Abstract

Waste is a common issue in daily life that requires serious attention to be managed effectively. At the Aikmel Timur Village Office, waste management plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort in the work environment. To raise awareness among all village office staff about the importance of environmental cleanliness, a different approach is needed to encourage them to dispose of waste properly and orderly. Traditional trash bins often rely on manual systems to open, which can be inconvenient, especially when both hands are occupied or the system is unhygienic. As part of an internship program, I contributed to developing an innovation in the form of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic trash bin. This innovation utilizes Arduino Uno and integrates key components such as the HC-SR04 sensor, servo motor, buzzer, and an adapter circuit. The HC-SR04 sensor detects the presence of waste intended for disposal, the servo motor serves as an automatic mechanism to open and close the bin, and the buzzer acts as an audio indicator to notify users that the system is active and ready for use. The development method began with identifying problems through a survey of workplace needs, followed by system design and implementation, as well as functional evaluation and benefit analysis. The result of this innovation is the creation of an automatic trash bin that not only facilitates waste disposal but also raises awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. Through this internship activity, it is hoped that this innovation can serve as a model to be widely implemented in villages, supporting better waste management practices.
