Abstract

This research aims to determine how the use of Canva media in physics learning can enhance the learning experience of students in the 11th grade at SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Morotai and to assess the effectiveness of Canva media in improving the learning experience of students in the 11th grade at SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Morotai. The formulation of the research problem is as follows: (1) How is the utilization of Canva media in physics learning to enhance students' learning experiences, (2) How effective is the utilization of Canva media in physics learning to improve students' learning experiences in the XI grade at SMA Negeri 2 Kabupaten Pulau Morotai. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method. The subjects of this research are all students and a physics teacher in the 11th grade at SMA Negeri 2 Pulau Morotai. The research instruments used in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data is then analyzed using percentage formulas and triangulation. From the research results, the observation of students showed 72.20% in the very good category, the observation of teachers showed 100% in the very good category, the teacher questionnaire showed 92.5% in the very feasible category, and the student questionnaire showed 67% in the very good/feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Canva application as an electronic-based learning media is very effective in enhancing the learning experience of students in the XI grade at SMA Negeri 2, Morotai Island Regency.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study aimed at determining whether the use of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model affects the physics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMPN Satap Dotte, Central Halmahera Regency, on the concept of Simple Machines. It also aims to determine the extent of the improvement in physics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri Satap, Central Halmahera Regency, using the game-based learning model (TGT) on the concept of Simple Machines for the 2023-2024 academic year. The study consists of one classroom with 26 students, divided into two groups for the experimental and control classes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study using a nonequivalent control group design and purposive sampling technique. The sample used consists of 13 students in the experimental class and 13 students in the control class. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of an objective multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions with a score range of 0-1. The results of this study were tested statistically using the IBM SPSS version 26 "t" test application program. Based on the calculations, the obtained t-value was 3.713, while the t-table value was 2.064. According to the acceptance criteria, it was found that t-value > t-table at a significance level of 0.05 for the posttest data. According to the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is an influence and improvement of the tournament games-based learning model on students' physics learning outcomes regarding the concept of simple machines.

Abstract

This research aims to know the level of skill creative thinking physics at learnerss class XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Halmahera Selatan. The kind of research is survey (ex post facto) that are descriptive to obtain quantitative data for research not giving treatment to respondents so that this research is only uncover and that it was without connect with to other variables. But the population or the research is all students class XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Halmahera Selatan academic year 2015/2016 and sample selected conditions groups with the class in their entirety the class XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Halmahera Selatan amounting to 32 students with 8 man and 24 woman becoming sample in this research. Research instruments used is the test skill creative thinking of physics have valid to be used. The result of the descriptive analysis indicate that skill mean score think is creative thinking physics learners class XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Halmahera Selatan be over the category low with percentage 46,88%. As for the result of analysis to every indicator creative thinking physics show that the most prominent indicator is to find causes with mean score that is 2,70 and those the lowest indicator of guess is a result of an event with mean score that is 0,95 compared to the with other indicator. So that it can be concluded that level of skill creative thinking physics at learners/participant class XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Halmahera Selatan still lower.

Abstract

The variables in this research are: (1) Use of a STEM approach, (2) Increasing students' cognitive abilities. This research includes classroom action research (PTK), the problem formulation is whether using the STEM learning model can improve students' abilities in using the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach for Class XI SMA IT Fagogoru, Central Halmahera Regency on the Solar Panel Concept? . The aim of this research is: to determine the cognitive abilities of class IX students at SMAS IT Fagogoru, Central Halmahera Regency. The instruments used in this research were observation and essay test sheets. The results of this research use the application of the STEM Approach method to improve the cognitive abilities of students in class IX SMAS IT Fagogoru, Central Halmahera Regency, without increasing the cognitive abilities of students. This is characterized by students' cognitive abilities being in the high category, namely in cycle I 3 students completed it and cycle 13 students completed.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika yang efektif tidak hanya mengandalkan penguasaan rumus dan konsep, tetapi juga keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam. Di SMA Negeri 2 Halmahera Selatan (Halsel), banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep fisika dan cenderung menghafal tanpa benar-benar memahami inti dari materi yang diajarkan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Socratic Questioning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Socratic Questioning yang berfokus pada tanya jawab yang mendalam, dirancang untuk memacu siswa berpikir lebih kritis, mempertanyakan asumsi mereka, dan menghubungkan pengetahuan yang mereka miliki dengan konsep-konsep baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest dan posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 2 HALSEL yang berjumlah 60 orang yang tersebar dalam 2 kelas, yaitu kelas X1 merupakan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Socratic Questioning dalam pembelajaran fisika dan kelas X2 kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan pada siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan metode Socratic Questioning. Rata-rata skor keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelompok eksperimen meningkat 60% setelah diberi perlakuan, sementara kelompok kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan sekitar 30%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Socratic Questioning berhasil merangsang siswa untuk berpikir lebih mendalam dan kritis mengenai materi fisika yang diajarkan. Selain itu, hasil tes pemahaman fisika menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata nilai post-test sebesar 95, sementara kelompok kontrol hanya 63. Peningkatan nilai ini mencerminkan bahwa siswa tidak hanya lebih kritis, tetapi juga lebih memahami konsep fisika secara menyeluruh. Melalui serangkaian pertanyaan yang menggali pemikiran, Socratic Questioning mendorong siswa untuk menemukan jawabannya sendiri, bukan hanya menerima informasi secara pasif. Metode ini membangun kepercayaan diri siswa dalam belajar, memberikan mereka ruang untuk bertanya dan berdiskusi, serta mengasah keterampilan mereka dalam menyusun argumen yang logis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Istilah dalam bahasa Inggris adalah Classroom Action Research (CAR), yaitu sebuah kegiatan penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas. Salah satu karakteristik PTK adalah penelitian yang dilakukan di dalam kelas, sehingga fokus penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pembelajaran berupa perilaku guru dan siswa dalam melakukan interaksi. Karena siswa terlibat dalam situasi penelitian, maka karakteristik siswa perlu dipahami agar PTK berjalan lancar sesuai tujuan. PTK ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV Inpres Bepsili Halmahera Timur. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa (ketuntasan belajar) naik sebesar 28,57%, kenaikan motivasi belajar sebesar 20,00% dan kenaikan rerata 7,44. Ternyata dengan menggunakan media maket, dinamika kerja kelompok lebih baik dan semua siswa terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran, dan semua siswa memperoleh pengalaman nyata dari pembelajarannya. Seperti dikatakan Dale bahwa pengalaman belajar yang paling tinggi nilainya adalah pengalaman belajar melalui pengalaman langsung dan melakukan sendiri. Masih terdapat kesenjangan antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA pada mayoritas SD dengan tuntutan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum dan karakteristik pendidikan IPA. Di lapangan hingga saat ini pembelajaran IPA miskin media dan alat peraga serta ditampilkan dalam bentuk transfer informasi dari guru atau buku ke dalam otak siswa dengan mereduksi hakikat pendidikan IPA. Dari hasil refleksi tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa tindakan perbaikan yang dilakukan telah berhasil. Meski masih ada hal-hal yang harus diperbaiki. Berarti upaya perbaikan pembelajaran berakhir di siklus ketiga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Clasroom Action Research), yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Tindakan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, minat belajar fisika dan hasil belajar fisika melalui pendekatan inkuiri berwawasan lingkungan yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Harmahera Timur kelas VIII1. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis kualitatif dilakukan khusus pada hasil pengamatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik sedang analisis deskriptif diolah dengan menghitung rata-rata kelas, ketuntasan belajar individu dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil analisis deskriptif dikelompokkan ke dalam kategori sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi, dengan mengacu pada tabel distribusi frekuensi. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik, minat belajar fisika dan tes hasil belajar fisika. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa, Aktivitas belajar peserta didik selama pembelajaran berlangsung melalui pendekatan inkuiri berwawasan lingkungan telah sesuai yang diharapkan, minat belajar fisika peserta didik meningkat menjadi kategori sangat tinggi, begitu pula dengan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I hingga siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan inkuiri berwawasan lingkungan dalam proses pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar fisika, minat belajar fisika, dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Harmahera Timur Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research using a survey method. Data collection techniques with documentation. The subjects in this study are all questions and multiple-choice answer sheets for the odd semester final exam of Class X Physics subject. This study analyzes the level of difficulty, differentiation, and effectiveness of tricksters. Quantitative analysis of multiple-choice questions was carried out using the ANATES version 4.00 program. The results of the study showed that out of a total of 15 multiple-choice questions reviewed from the level of difficulty, there were 1 question or 7% in the difficult or high category, 13 questions or 86% in the medium category, and 1 question or 7% in the low or easy category. Based on the discriminating power, it shows that there are 6 question items (40%) in the very good category, 5 question items (33%) in the good category, 1 question item (7%) in the medium category, 1 question item (7%) in the bad category and 2 question items (13%) in the negative or non-discriminatory category. Based on the effectiveness of the deceiver, it was shown that the deceiver had a total of 60 options out of 15 multiple-choice questions that were tested, 55 options functioned well from 15 questions, and 5 options had poor function from 15 questions. Thus, the results of the study show that the Odd Semester Final Exam questions for Physics subjects are 86% good questions and 14% bad questions.

Abstract

This research is a classroom actionresearch that aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class X S MA Negeri 37 South Halmahera Through the Application of Project Based Learning Model. The research method used is qualitative with the research location conducted in class X S MA Negeri 37 South Halmahera totaling 25 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. The data collection technique for this research is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of 4 components, namely: Planning, Observation, Evaluation and final teaching test. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of the study in class X at SMA Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan on the learning outcome test from cycle 1 showed an increase compared to before being given learning by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model on Straight Motion material. After learning using the learning model, the results increased from 24% to 75%. In cycle II, the learning outcomes of students using the problem-based learning model increased by 100%. With an average value reaching 72.12%

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in digital literacy of class X students at SMANKOR North Maluku after using the Wordwall-based Physics Education Game Media (GEMIKA). The background of this study is based on the low level of digital literacy of students and the limited use of technology-based learning media in schools. The method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 31 class X students selected through purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used in data collection included participatory observation, interviews, and questionnaires to measure the level of digital literacy before and after using GEMIKA. Data analysis was carried out through the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2019) model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results showed that there was a significant increase in all aspects of digital literacy after the implementation of Wordwall-Based GEMIKA media. The average percentage of digital literacy increased from 58.2% to 73.6%. In detail, the aspect of media usage increased from 40.5% to 76.2%, digital literacy from 55.6% to 70.5%, learning motivation from 60.7% to 75.0%, and digital technology skills from 57.8% to 72.6%. In conclusion, the use of GEMIKA media based on Wordwall has proven effective in improving students' digital literacy, motivation, and technology skills. This study also shows that the integration of digital-based educational games can be an innovative solution in science learning, especially physics, in areas with limited technological infrastructure.
