Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of price, electronic word of mouth, and celebrity endorsers on purchase decisions at CRSL distribution in Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with a non-probability sampling method and the sampling technique using purposive sampling. This research involves 100 respondents from the entire population of CRSL consumers in Yogyakarta. Data analysis tool using SPSS version 26. The results of this study indicate that price does not affect purchase decisions, while electronic word of mouth and celebrity endorsers have a positive influence on purchase decisions at CRSL distro in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER), earning per share (EPS), current ratio (CR), and firm size on stock returns in pharmaceutical companies in IDX for the 2017-2019 period. This research is a type of quantitative research using secondary data. The population in this study were all pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The method used to select the sample is purposive sampling. The sample obtained using this method amounted to 5 (five) companies. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study, namely CR and Firm Size have a positive effect on stock returns. DER has a positive effect on stock returns which is not supporting the hypotheses, while EPS has no effect on stock returns.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of service quality, destination image, and promotion on visitor satisfaction at Monumen Yogya Kembali. This research is quantitative research with data sources using primary data. The sample was determined by non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling method, namely visitors to the Monumen Yogya Kembali who visited at least twice. The number of samples in this study was 80 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed via google form. After going through instrument testing, basic assumption testing, and classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing is carried out. From the result of the t test and multiple regression analysis, a significance result of 0,003 was obtained with a coefficient of 0,195 for service quality; a significance of 0,001 with a coefficient of 0,386 for destination image; and a significance of 0,000 with a coefficient of 0,295 for promotion. Based on these results, it means that service quality, destination image, and promotion partially have a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction at Monumen Yogya Kembali. These three variables have an influence of 81,2% on visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Ambassador on Purchase Decisions with Brand Image as an Intervening variable. Samples were taken by non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 100 people who were consumers who had purchased at least once and used Whitelab Skincare products in Yogyakarta and were at least 12 years old. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression method. Before the regression was carried out, the instruments were tested, namely validity and reliability tests, data normality tests, and classical assumption tests which included multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests. Hypothesis testing is done by t test and Sobel test. The results of the study show that Brand Ambassador has a significant positive effect on Brand Image, Brand Ambassador has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decisions, Brand Image has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decisions, and there is a positive and significant influence of Brand Ambassador on Purchase Decisions with Brand Image as an Intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk before and during Covid-19 through liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, profitability ratio and activity ratio. The Independent Sample T-Test is used for debt to total asset, debt to total equity, return on asset, total asset turnover and fixed asset turnover. The Mann Whitney U Test is used for current ratio, quick ratio and net profit margin. The results of this study are that there are no significant differences in the current ratio, quick ratio, debt to total assets, net profit margin, return on assets, total asset turnover and fixed asset turnover before and during Covid-19. Meanwhile, there are significant differences in debt to total equity before and during Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the variable capital structure and firm size on profitability. This study uses secondary data taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the Manufacturing sector, Food and Beverage sub-sector in the period 2010 - 2015. The data analysis techniques used are basic assumption tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the analysis that has been described, it can be concluded that the DER variable with a significance value of 0.0042 is less than 0.05. accept the initial hypothesis H0. Total assets with a significance value of 0.0000 less than 0.05. reject the initial hypothesis, and accept the alternative hypothesis Ha2 is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of job demands, personal resources, and burnout on work engagement at PT. Sanwa Between Nusa Surabaya. Saturated sampling technique was used with a total of 72 respondents. All samples in this study were employees of PT. Sanwa Antar Nusa Surabaya who has the status of a permanent employee. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in this research by first carrying out instrument tests in the form of validity and reliability tests, normality tests, classical assumption tests which include multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests as well as F (Goodness of Fit) tests, t tests and coefficient of determination. Through these various tests, the results obtained were that the variable job demands (X1) had a negative and significant effect on work engagement, personal resources (X2) had a positive and significant effect on work engagement, and burnout (X3) had a positive and significant effect on work engagement. The results of the research can be a reference for future research related to the variables studied and become a basis for consideration for companies to maintain work engagement among employees.

Abstract

The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method has been well-known because of various research in operations management. However, in execution, this method is highly unique because it may consider several costs, including quantity discounts, to get optimal results. Furthermore, it is still quite rare for research related to inventory control in the garment manufacturing industry. This study aims to examine how the inventory control system for fabric raw materials uses the EOQ method, along with a comparative analysis of the cost of purchasing optimal fabric raw materials using quantity discounts. This quantitative descriptive nuance research took place at PT. Westa Pusaka Kusuma Yogyakarta (PT. WPK) as the object of research, by selecting four types of garment fabrics. The result is that the total inventory costs of the four types of fabrics much smaller than those that did not use EOQ optimization method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan, budaya organisasi dan konflik kerja secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Persaingan bisnis saat ini memacu organisasi untuk bisa meningkatkan kinerja anggotanya. Kinerja yang baik akan meningkatkan efektivitas dan produktivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini menguji secara empiris faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja individu dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan didukung dengan data sekunder. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t, uji F (goodness of fit), analisis regresi linear berganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 79 responden yang merupakan karyawan PD BPR Bank Sleman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kinerja karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel pelatihan, budaya organisasi dan konflik kerja sebesar 56,8%. Variabel pelatihan, budaya organisasi dan konflik kerja secara parsial mempengaruhi variabel kinerja sebanyak 56,8%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang belum tertangkap dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transformastional leadership style, workload, and compensation on employee turnover intention of Bank Bhakti Daya Ekonomi (BDE) Yogyakarta. Bank BDE is one of the private BPRs in Yogyakarta that serves the micro, small and medium business sector with 178 employees. This company has received an award in the 2020 Infobank award as a BPR with the title “VERY GOOD” for its financial performance. A sample of 123 employees was determined using the slovin method which was then taken from all existing branch offices using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instrument test was carried out after the data was collected, followed by a normality test as well as a classic assumption test to then test the hypothesis. Based on testing with the t test and multiple regression, it was found that the transformational leadership style has no effect on turnover intention because of the significance value of 0,685. Workload has a positive effect on employee turnover intention because the results of the t test show a significance value of 0,000 intention, as indicated by the results of the t test which has a significance value of 0,003 and a regression coefficient of -0,089. The variable ability of transformational leadership style, workload, and compensation in explaining variations in turnover intention is 40,3%, the rest is explained by other variables not examined.
