Abstract

Developing a quality culture in educational institutions can be achieved by developing educational innovations, extracurricular activities, cultural activities, student character development, and programs to develop academic and non-academic achievement. This study aims to determine the urgency of transformational leadership in schools. Implementing transformational leadership principles in schools can provide important lessons for students and teachers because this leadership fosters innovation and provides motivation focused on quality targets and follow-up. Furthermore, this paper will describe the impact of transformational leadership on the development of innovation and culture in leadership education.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific work is to determine the role of principals as visionary agents of change in current educational development. This research uses literature review research, namely a comprehensive literature review method by taking information from various sources such as scientific journals, textbooks and research reports. Analysis is carried out descriptively by identifying main themes, summarizing various information, and interpreting various findings to draw conclusions. The result of this research is that the role of the principal in providing direction, guidance and change is very important for educational development, through the formation of values ​​and norms in school. The principal's appropriate leadership strategy for realizing educational development can be seen through the principal's way of working, implementing the school's vision, as well as his responsibilities for various matters related to changes in developing education. The data obtained shows that as agents of change, principals have an important role, namely building and growing awareness of change for the better and developing and creating a vision and mission of change for educational development.

Abstract

Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in educational institutions due to differences in values, interests, perceptions, communication styles, and organizational goals among stakeholders. The principal plays a strategic role in managing conflicts effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment and ensure institutional effectiveness. This study aims to examine the implementation of principals' leadership in managing conflict within educational settings and its impact on organizational performance, teacher collaboration, and school climate. Employing a qualitative literature review approach, this research analyzes scholarly articles, educational management theories, and empirical studies related to conflict management in schools. The findings indicate that successful principals utilize various conflict management strategies, including collaboration, negotiation, mediation, effective communication, and participatory decision-making. Transformational and instructional leadership approaches significantly contribute to reducing interpersonal tensions and fostering a culture of trust and cooperation. Furthermore, principals who demonstrate emotional intelligence and organizational competence are more capable of addressing conflicts constructively. Effective conflict management not only minimizes disruptions but also promotes professional growth, organizational learning, and educational quality improvement. Therefore, principals must develop comprehensive conflict management competencies to navigate complex educational challenges and support sustainable school development.

Abstract

Education is an agent of change. Education must be able to bring about major changes in the order of people's lives. The changes expected from education are changes that lead to an increase in the competence of education actors, both among students and educators, especially school principals. The role of the principal is very influential on the success of various programs to achieve school goals. Among the objectives of school institutions is the instillation of an entrepreneurial spirit or called entrepreneurship. The principal's strategy in developing entrepreneurship is carried out to improve the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the principal and his strategy in the development of entrepreneurship in schools. The method used in writing this paper is a literature review carried out by collecting data from various sources needed as a basis for thinking and finding ideas to explore new ideas and thoughts from existing theories. The results of the discussion obtained were the four roles of the principal as an entrepreneur, namely as an entrepreneur who is able to overcome obstacles, as a leader in maintaining flexibility, thinking strategically, pioneering good work and Evaluation of entrepreneurial programs. Meanwhile, the principal's strategy as an entrepreneur is to integrate entrepreneurial values into subjects, establish school business units, and joint use of entrepreneurial results.

Abstract

Educational innovation has become a strategic necessity for schools in responding to rapid technological developments, curriculum reforms, and the changing demands of 21st-century learning. The principal plays a pivotal role as an instructional leader, change agent, and strategic decision-maker in fostering innovative educational practices. This study examines the principal’s leadership role in driving educational innovation, focusing on the strategies employed and the challenges encountered during implementation. Through a review of contemporary educational leadership literature, the study identifies key leadership strategies, including the development of a shared vision, promotion of teacher professional development, integration of educational technology, encouragement of collaborative cultures, and support for continuous improvement initiatives. The study also highlights several challenges, such as resistance to change, limited financial resources, inadequate technological infrastructure, and varying levels of teacher readiness. Findings indicate that effective leadership significantly influences the successful adoption and sustainability of innovation in schools. Principals who demonstrate transformational and adaptive leadership are better positioned to overcome barriers and create environments conducive to innovation. The study underscores the importance of leadership capacity-building to ensure continuous educational improvement and institutional effectiveness.

Abstract

principles of religious moderation can be implemented in the leadership of school principals in the educational environment, as well as their impact on an inclusive and harmonious school environment.The research methods used may include literature studies to understand the concept of religious moderation, interviews with school principals who implement the principles of religious moderation, and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing religious moderation in school leadership.It is hoped that the research results will provide valuable insight into the importance of religious moderation in the educational context, as well as provide recommendations for school principals and other educational stakeholders to apply the principles of religious moderation in school leadership to create an inclusive and harmonious learning environment for all related parties.It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution in promoting tolerance, cooperation between religious communities, and strengthening the values of moderation in education as a foundation for building a peaceful and harmonious religious society.

Abstract

Study of the role of school principals begins with school/madrasah principals standards contained in Permendiknas No. 13 of 2007. There are two aspects, qualification and competence as initial capital as principal. Capital owned by the school principal should be encouraged to five role as an effective leader. The fifth role is as a catalyst for an exciting, visionary motivator, link control, implementing a firm and wise experts. This role serves to grow the value of the character at the school, where there are eighteen value character implemented in all learning activities in schools. The purpose of this study was to explore how the principal should work at school. Six efforts can be implemented by school principal in enhancing the teacher’s performance including (1) to focus seriously on the improvement of teacher competencies, (2) to provide sufficient funding for improving teacher professionalism, (3) to supervise and guide teachers professionally, (4) to create a organizational culture of school that are comfortable for teachers, (5) to create innovation and advancement at school, and (6) to provide various rewards for each achievement that are done by teacher. Hence, it is recommended that school principal must more actively and creatively collaborate with teachers and educational stakeholder to conduct the improvement of teachers’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out more about the "Influence of Brand Image and Product Quality on Purchasing Decisions of Pointcoffee at Indomaret Diponegoro, Surabaya City" in accordance with the main problem raised, namely the relationship between Brand Image and Product Quality in Purchasing Decisions of a Coffee branded Pointcoffee. This research method is a quantitative method using a questionnaire. The object of this study is Point Coffee consumers at Indomaret Diponegoro, Surabaya City and a sample of 100 respondents was obtained. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the Variable and Reliable Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Test, T Test, F Test and Determinant Coefficient Test using IBM SPSS. And the results of this study indicate that the variables of Brand Image and Product Quality have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions.
