Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMPN 3 Pamekasan, especially in Islamic religious education. Qualitative approach. Case study type. Data were collected from the principal, curriculum vice principal, teachers, and students through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analysed with an interactive model and validated with various techniques. The results showed that the independent curriculum involves intracurricular, Pancasila learner profile strengthening projects, and extracurricular. The independent curriculum provides flexible, creative, and meaningful learning experiences and maintains the Pancasila learner profile. The independent curriculum also provides opportunities for students to develop academic and non-academic potential. The independent curriculum in Islamic religious education includes subjects such as Al-Qur'an and Hadith, Aqidah, Akhlak, and Fiqh. Implementing an independent curriculum involves continuous planning, implementation, and evaluation. The independent curriculum positively impacts students, teachers and schools but also requires support, commitment and further research.

Abstract

This research focuses on implementing inclusive education management at SDN Lawangan Daya II Pamekasan. This study aims to explore the planning, implementation, and evaluation of management to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews and analyzed inductively. The primary data sources were the principal, vice principal, teachers, student affairs, and administration. The implementation of inclusive education management has had a significant impact on improving the quality of education. This impact can be seen through changes in student behavior and increased academic achievement of students with special needs. This research provides insights into how inclusive education can be designed to meet the needs of all students and how an inclusive approach can help improve the quality of education for all students. It also shows how challenges in implementing inclusive education management can be overcome through synergistic cooperation between all relevant parties

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of educational management in the Minikom dormitory of Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata, focusing on its influence on student learning outcomes. The main variables are educational management practices—planning, implementation, and supervision—and their relationship to the effectiveness of learning in the boarding school environment. The study uses a qualitative approach to explore these dynamics, as this method allows for an in-depth understanding of contextual and organizational practices. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis involving dormitory leaders, educators, and students. Findings reveal that educational management in the Minikom dormitory follows a structured planning process, consistent program implementation, and integrated supervision. These elements contribute to fostering student engagement and improving learning effectiveness. The study underscores the significance of coherent management strategies in enhancing educational outcomes within Islamic boarding school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of traditional principles in the curriculum of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 Pamekasan. In order to achieve this goal, this research utilizes a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques involve a series of procedures that include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the data analysis technique from Miles and Huberman, by doing four ways, namely reducing data, presenting data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study make a significant contribution in designing a future hybrid education model. This model is rooted in traditional values, yet remains relevant to the demands of modern times. Thus, this research proves that modern education and traditional values can go hand in hand. This allows the younger generation to understand and appreciate their cultural heritage, while remaining prepared for the challenges of the future. This research is expected to provide new and valuable insights for educational practitioners and researchers in the same field. As such, this study has the potential to enrich academic literature and educational practice.

Abstract

Learning activities are often faced with challenges that interfere with teachers and students in achieving educational goals, such as difficulties in providing effective feedback and improving student learning skills. This can result in learning difficulties for students due to the application of less applicable methods. Various teaching methods are needed in order to increase students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn. The Quantum Teaching method is believed to be able to create a pleasant learning environment by utilizing students' natural potential, including their curiosity. This method is implemented through the TANDUR stages: Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat and Celebrate. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a type of library research that refers to various sources to understand the use of the Quantum Teaching Method in classroom learning activities. The results show that this approach has great potential to improve the effectiveness of learning in the educational environment. This research shows that the Quantum Teaching Method is effective in improving student achievement which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Cognitive aspects are improved through six levels of learning: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. Affective aspects can be improved through five levels of activities: receiving, responding, valuing, organization, and characterization. Meanwhile, psychomotor aspects can be improved through seven activity steps: perception, set, guided response, mechanism, complex overt response, adaptation, and origination.

Abstract

Tipe kepribadian seringkali disangkut pautkan dengan bagaimana individu berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya, introvert yang seringkali dianggap kurang bisa bergaul dan ekstrovert yang seringkali dianggap lebih aktif pada kegiatan-kegiatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah tipe kepribadian ektrovert dan introvert mempengaruhi minat berorganisi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan partisipan sebanyak 43 mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara mahasiswa yang menunjukkan kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Artinya baik mahasiswa yang introvert maupun ekstrovert tidak memiliki korelasi yang kuat dengan minatnya dalam berorganisasi, terbukti dari perhitungan uji korelasi spearman, srho yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

While pesantren education in Indonesia has great potential in implementing ecological principles, challenges in the integration of environmental values often hinder its effectiveness. This study aims to explore the way ecological principles are integrated in the pesantren education system and their impact on environmental conservation practices and awareness of santri. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings show that the integration of ecological principles can be effectively implemented through a holistic approach that combines Islamic values with conservation practices. The results reveal that this integration not only increases environmental awareness among santri but also strengthens their Islamic identity as khalifahs responsible for the ecosystem. This research enriches the theory of ecological integration in Islamic education and provides a model that can be applied in other pesantren. Practical implications include guidance for pesantren managers in designing effective environmental curricula and activities. This research also opens pathways for further studies with quantitative or mixed-methods approaches as well as the exploration of digital technology in pesantren environmental education.

Abstract

This article examines the improvement of the quality of education at Maktab Nubdzatul Bayan (Maktuba) Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School through the formulation and implementation of effective strategies. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by Maktuba Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School in improving the quality of education, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of these strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation analysis. Data analysis was conducted through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Results: Maktuba Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School has formulated a strategy to improve the quality of education that includes developing a vision, mission, and values, as well as analyzing the internal and external environment. This strategy includes long and short-term programs that are carried out through accelerated methods and the development of santri skills. Strategy implementation is supported by adequate budget allocations and training programs to improve the professionalism of the asatidz. Strategy evaluation is carried out thoroughly and continuously, with weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and annual evaluations. This study makes an important contribution in understanding the formulation and implementation of strategies to improve the quality of education in pesantren. The findings show that a good and directed strategic approach is able to improve the quality of education effectively and efficiently, as well as meet the community's expectations of quality education.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of pesantren traditions, such as Ta’zim, on the emotional and moral development of santri at Ma'had Baitul Qur'an Madura. The purpose of this study is to understand how the social environment and pesantren traditions shape the moral and emotional character of santri. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews with santri and teachers. The results show that pesantren traditions, such as Ta’zim and gotong royong, create an environment conducive to the development of positive morals and emotions, such as empathy and a sense of social responsibility. The findings support Kohlberg's theory of moral development and affirm the importance of social interaction in individual moral formation. The implication of this study is that the pesantren tradition can be an effective model of character education, providing new insights for the development of moral education curricula in various contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi pustaka untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai etika Islam dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pendidikan agama di SMK YPPI Surabaya. Berbeda dengan studi empiris lapangan, penelitian ini sepenuhnya mengandalkan data sekunder, termasuk literatur akademik, artikel jurnal ilmiah, dokumen kurikulum, kebijakan pendidikan nasional, serta silabus pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter Islam. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis isi dengan empat tahapan utama: seleksi sumber berdasarkan relevansi dan kredibilitas, kategorisasi tematik (pendidikan karakter, adaptasi kurikulum, strategi pedagogis), sintesis tematik, dan analisis interpretatif yang mengacu pada teori pendidikan karakter dan kebijakan kurikulum nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak telah diarahkan untuk mendukung perkembangan moral dan spiritual peserta didik kelas X. Kurikulum ini selaras dengan nilai-nilai profil pelajar Pancasila, meskipun dalam praktiknya masih menghadapi tantangan, khususnya terkait perilaku siswa yang belum sepenuhnya mendukung tujuan kurikulum. Materi pembelajaran Aqidah Akhlak telah dikembangkan secara komprehensif, namun efektivitasnya masih terbatas akibat kurangnya penyesuaian terhadap gaya belajar siswa yang beragam. Penelitian ini menegaskan peran strategis pendidikan Aqidah Akhlak dalam mendorong perkembangan holistik—mencakup keseimbangan jasmani dan rohani, penguatan relasi sosial, serta peningkatan kesadaran spiritual siswa. Untuk mengoptimalkan tujuan kurikulum, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual, pendampingan karakter yang berkelanjutan, serta pelatihan guru yang lebih mendalam
