Abstract

This study is motivated by the low levels of critical thinking and collaboration skills among eleventh-grade students at MA Al-Kautsar Pekanbaru, which have negatively affected their learning outcomes in Fiqh. The learning process has been predominantly teacher-centered with one-way interactions, minimal material analysis, and a lack of group collaboration. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students' critical thinking and collaboration skills. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a randomized control group only design. The sample consisted of class XI-A (25 students) as the experimental group taught using the PBL model, and class XI-B (32 students) as the control group taught using conventional methods. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, and observations. The results showed that: (1) the average critical thinking score of students in the experimental group was 84.00, higher than the control group’s 62.66, with a t-value of 10.247 > t-table value of 2.004; and (2) the average collaboration skill score in the experimental group was 81.56, compared to 64.88 in the control group, with a t-value of 5.359 > t-table value of 2.004. In conclusion, the PBL model is effective in improving students' critical thinking and collaboration skills in Fiqh learning.Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, critical thinking skills, student collaboration, Fiqh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between soft skills and career planning among students. Soft skills are believed to play an important role in helping students design their careers. The method used in this study is Pearson's correlation test to measure the degree of relationship between the two variables. The analysis results show that there is a significant and positive relationship between soft skills and career planning among students, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.671 (p=0.001), which indicates a strong relationship. This finding supports the hypothesis that mastery of soft skills can enhance students' readiness in planning their future careers. This study suggests that universities should focus more attention on developing soft skills through various educational programs and activities that support students' career readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing student learning motivation. The focus of this research is how teachers integrate Islamic religious values into the learning process in order to encourage students to be more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with several Islamic Religious Education teachers who have experience in managing student learning motivation. The results show that Islamic religious education applies various strategies to increase students' learning motivation. These strategies include using an interactive approach in teaching, using interesting learning media, and a personalized approach to understanding individual learning needs. Teachers also actively establish emotional relationships with students through open communication, providing positive feedback, and creating an inclusive classroom environment. In addition, this study also reveals that the application of Islamic religious values in daily life by teachers has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Teachers who become role models in applying religious teachings in real actions encourage students to internalize these values and make them a motivation in learning.

Abstract

The background for the emergence of the domestic and public areas comes from the division of labor based on sex, which is more popularly known as gender. The concept of gender refers to a set of traits, roles and responsibilities, functions, rights and behaviors inherent in men and women that cannot be separated from the culture that is built in the society where humans grow and develop so that a masculine dichotomy arises (male and female). ) and feminine (female). This study aims to find out about how the division of domestic and public tasks and family resilience in disabled family couples with non-disabled blind people. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used observation and interview techniques. The validity of the data was by increasing the research time, adequacy of references, triangulation and peer examination. The results of this study indicate that non-disabled blind spouses with husbands with visual impairments in the division of roles in the public area are carried out by both the wife and husband, while in the domestic area only the wife is involved, while the spouses with blind disabilities and non-disabled husbands are blind in the area. in the public sector only done by the husband while in the domestic area only done by the wife. There are several factors behind the strong family resilience of non-disabled spouses and husbands with disabilities including: flexibility, good communication, family support and spirituality, and a good economy, while the factors behind the weak family resilience of disabled spouses with non-disabled husbands Disabilities include: weak commitment to Islamic values, weak economy, lack of communication between family members, weak problem-solving abilities, and no support from family.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of education for each individual, where in the education process there is the term learning which is carried out by teachers who act as facilitators and students as students and in the learning process there are media which function to attract students' interest in learning, especially in Islamic religious education. , for this reason it can encourage PAI teachers to be able to analyze their students, with the aim of increasing their interest in learning in PAI subjects. The aim of the researchers is to find out the implementation of learning media by PAI teachers in increasing student interest in learning at SDN 2 Wakan, and to find out Obstacles in implementing Learning Media by PAI Teachers in Increasing Student Interest in Learning at SDN 2 Wakan. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that (1). There are various forms of implementing learning media, starting from print-based, visual-based, and also computer-based learning. (2). There are several obstacles to the implementation of learning media in interviews, such as the problem of monotonous media because it revolves around only those three media, student incompetence due to remote areas.

Abstract

Pesantren education has existed in Indonesia since before the independence of Indonesia. Pesantren is one of the most famous Islamic educational institutions to date. There are so many roles of pesantren in producing a great Islamic generation that can compete in the world arena. In the current era, moral education is something that is a concern to overcome. To overcome this problem, pesantren education can be a step of change to produce a young generation with Islamic morals. Moral decay in this modern era can be a trigger for negative things to happen in the surrounding environment, so it is very important to instill moral education early on to the nation's next generation.

Abstract

Education in Pancasila in Indonesia aims to shape the character of students in accordance with the values of Pancasila. The Pancasila Student Profile in schools is an initiative to measure the implementation of these values. The challenges of implementing the Pancasila student profile in schools are the focus of this qualitative research, involving literature reviews, participatory observations, and interviews. Data was collected through literature reviews, participatory observations, and in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and school staff. Thematic analysis revealed several challenges, including conceptual understanding constraints, resistance from students and teachers, and school policies that are not fully supportive. This research contributes to understanding the constraints and challenges of implementing the Pancasila Student Profile, with implications for formulating more effective education policies. The recommendations support the implementation of Pancasila values in primary and secondary education.

Abstract

The ability to design lesson planning is an ability that must be possessed by educators. This model is a design model that offers a continuous process and corresponds to this competence in PAI learning. This research implements a field research model with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 258 Voluntary Bandung City which aimed to see the results of the implementation of the dick and carey model in the development of PAI learning in elementary schools. The research data was obtained from interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. Observations were made on the implementation of the dick and carey model in the PAI learning process. Documentation in the form of a review of teaching modules. Analysis techniques include data reduction, data verification and conclusions. The results of the study stated the steps applied in the implementation at SDN 258 Voluntary including first, identifying learning objectives Second, conducting teaching analysis. Third, identify data on students' behavior and their personalities. Fourth, describe the purpose of performance. Fifth, formulate benchmark reference test items. Sixth, use relevant learning strategies. Seventh, sort and develop teaching materials. Eighth, designing and developing formative evaluations in the form of teaching and learning activities. Ninth, revise the learning program.

Abstract

The Sasak tribe has various uniqueness and diversity, especially in the case of the traditions that have developed in the Sasak tribe. One of the famous things of the Sasak tribe is about Pemaos as a reading of the lontar script. Specifically, the literal meaning of Pepaosan means reading. The reading of the manuscript in the Pepaosan is carried out by singing or rhythm or by song. This paper specifically has a fundamental question related to Pemaos, because Pemaos has historical roots and has something to do with the Javanese language, this is united in several basic questions, namely, First, what is the meaning of Pemaos in the Sasak tribe. Second, this paper will trace the history of the use and internalization of the values of Islamic education. It is simple that the Pemaos in the Sasak tribe contain important events in their lives, such as births, baby haircuts, circumcision, marriages, and death events. The lontar script that will be read is adjusted to the event that takes place. A Pemaos who reads the Javanese Sasak script lontar, a poet, and two supporters. Their appearance is complemented by offerings placed in a special brass container. Meanwhile, the internalization of the paos in education is that it contains the substance of stories, namely the nature of Pepaosan, which is usually told stories of the journey and life of the Prophets and their companions such as the stories of the Prophet. This forms a character-based education that is able to interact by fostering social behavior among others

Abstract

The human need to have good and positive personality qualities in everyday life. Good character is very important to achieve true success and happiness in life. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the concept of character in more depth, finding the correlation between character and success and happiness in life, as well as developing strategies and techniques to improve good character. This article discusses the concept of character from Muslim and Western perspectives. The research method used is a qualitative method with a library science approach. The results of this research show that from a Muslim perspective, good character is character that is based on religious teachings and always tries to improve itself from time to time. The concept of character in Islam has a close relationship with the moral and ethical values ​​taught by the Islamic religion. Meanwhile, from a western perspective, the concept of character has a broader meaning and is not related to a particular religion. A good character in a western perspective is a character who has strong and positive personality qualities. Even though there are different views, the concept of character still has a very important role in human life to achieve true success and happiness. Therefore, understanding and developing good character needs to be carried out by individuals from these two perspectives, so that they are able to overcome challenges in life in a positive and constructive way.
