Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon of the decline in the character of students in the world of education, this is evidenced by the indiscipline of students, lack of sense of responsibility, tolerance. Therefore, the character instilled through Aqidah Akhlak education to students needs to be pursued in order to apply it to everyday life. This research is a qualitative research. The research subject is the aqidah akhlak subject teacher at MTs Darussalam Sengkubang and the series of activities carried out. Data collection techniques using interviews with aqidah akhlak teachers, principals, curriculum sections, checking documents in the form of lesson plans and making observations in class IX accompanied by documentation. The results showed that: (1) the planning stage presents the process of preparing lesson plans and teaching materials. The lesson plans are made by including character values in them and will develop during the learning process according to the class situation. (2) the implementation stage presents the learning process, starting from learning steps, media and methods so that learning objectives can be achieved. (3) a complete explanation of the application of character values. (4) the assessment stage is carried out at the process stage, namely looking at the attitude of students during the process and the results stage, namely learning activities that spur on cognitive aspects, (5) the obstacles faced include the lack of student cooperation between teachers, students always return to the dormitory during class hours after breaks, lack of student awareness in conducting morning baiat ceremonies, (6) the solutions provided to overcome these obstacles by familiarising religious characters, reprimanding students if they make mistakes, giving sanctions to students so that they do not repeat them again, locking the dormitory so that no students return when the lesson is not finished, additional hours and remedials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the madrasah strategy in improving students' achievement at MAS Darussalam Sengkurang. The research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, data collection methods with documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis is descriptive. The results of the study state that the planning of madrasah strategic steps in fostering achievement is (a) Holding a strict selection of high-achieving students so that DSC participants really have the determination and strong desire to learn together, and are able to provide championships in the competition they achieve; (b) The existence of periodic evaluations, (c) Discipline in carrying out guidance (d) Planting religious values in the form of characterisation in the form of patience, sincere acceptance, not arrogant and always humble, especially humble nature. The madrasah programme to manage students' achievements is by making new innovations, namely forming special coaching in the form of DSC (Darussalam Science Club). After that, it is continued with routine guidance and participation in every competition held by any party which is useful for sharpening students.

Abstract

Abstract:In the subject of Islamic Religious Education students find it difficult to understand the subject matter, learning tends to be centered on the teacher while students are passive, the teacher uses the lecture method so that motivation in student learning is lacking. One of them is the teacher using the Role Playing method, Role playing is a game in a story with a clear purpose or story while in the world of education, Role playing is a planned learning activity designed to achieve specific educational goals. This thesis discusses the Implementation of the Role Playing Method in Increasing Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno . This study aims (1) to describe how students' learning motivation in PAI subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno, (2) to describe the application of the role playing method to increase student motivation in PAI subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive design, data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, non-participant, and documentation. Data is analyzed by means of data reduction (data reduction), display data collection (data presentation), and conclusion ( verification) (conclusion). The technique of testing the validity of this research data is by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation and using reference materials. The conclusions of this study are (1) Student motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang includes: Diligently facing assignments, Tenacious in facing difficulties , Showing interest in various problems, Prefers to work independently, Not quickly bored with assignments, and Can defend his opinion. (2) The implementation of the role playing method in increasing student learning motivation in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang consists of: Planning a role playing learning program in the form of lesson plans (RPP), student handbooks (LKS), textbooks, or from other sources. The implementation of role playing learning methods includes: Making problems, Appointing participants, Playing roles, Observing and taking notes, Comments from students, and Evaluation of learning in the role playing method in the form of assessment rubrics, by checking whether it is appropriate or not with what has been assigned.

Abstract

Globalization and information technology are things that cannot be avoided in competition between educational institutions. The competitiveness of an institution is an important consideration for maintaining its essence and existence as well as reading opportunities in the realm of education. Almost all educational institutions or schools have 'public relations' in their organizational structure which functions to manage many media as a liaison between the institution and the community. Considering the importance of the public relations function for schools, public relations performance needs to receive attention from school leaders. The leadership needs to apply the right leadership model so that public relations can achieve its vision optimally, one of which is by implementing transformational leadership in the field of multimedia-based public relations. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of multimedia-based public relations, the transformational leadership model applied in the implementation of public relations and the characteristics of transformational leadership that dominate in the implementation of public relations at SMA DU 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that the performance of public relations at SMA DU 2 Unggulan BPPT is ideal in accordance with McElreath's theory of public relations implementation which applies the stages of planning, organizing and evaluating, the head of public relations has implemented transformational leadership which has four characteristics, namely idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration according to Bass theory. Meanwhile, the dominant characteristics of transformational leadership based on research analysis are idealized influence and individual consideration

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of memorising the Qur'an on students' academic and non-academic achievements. The research method used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach, namely a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative / statistical data analysis. Based on the calculation of the formula above, the sample in this study was 109 respondents. The results showed that respondents with sufficient memorisation were respondents with academic achievement in the sufficient category 33.0%, while respondents with less memorisation were respondents with good academic achievement 19.3% and sufficient academic achievement 13.8%. Based on the results of the regression test, it is known that the significant value of 0.560> alpha 0.05 means that there is no effect of memorising the al quran on the academic achievement of VIII students of Mts Salafiyah Mojogeneng in 2023. respondents with good memorising the al quran have good non-academic achievement 18.3% and respondents with less memorising have less non-academic achievement 3.7%. Based on the results of the regression test, it is known that the significant value of 0.000 < alpha 0.05 means that there is an effect of memorising the Qur'an on the non-academic achievement of VIII students of Mts Salafiyah Mojogeneng in 2023.

Abstract

Leadership ranks at the top, namely an indicator of the progress of a school/ madrasah institution. The leadership of the school/madrasah principal is a very basic element in terms of the authority to make policies to improve the quality of education whose results can be used as an indicator of the progress of a school/madrasah. The leader is the spirit, the driving force for the progress of the madrasa in terms of empowering all existing resources, namely human resources and other resources to achieve their goals. Creativity arises as a result of empowering individuals. In the school context, the Principal must empower his staff, both educators and educational staff and their students, because empowerment will generate self-confidence in those who are empowered. This self-confidence will foster unexpected creativity. The problem that occurs is the lack of role of the school principal in improving the quality of education at MI Addiniyah Jiyu Kec. Kutorejo Kab. Mojokerto which until now has not been resolved in line with the complexity of environmental changes, both in terms of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. The emergence of this problem is due to the not yet optimal empowerment of the Principal's raw input; empowerment of instrumental inputs which include curriculum, infrastructure, costs and human resources, plus the not optimal involvement of environmental inputs consisting of the community and stakeholders.

Abstract

Human resources, which function as the driving force for all activities in all fields of education, are an important component in improving the quality of education. So thatstrategies are needed to improve the performance of educator human resources. Thus, research is needed regarding the implementation and implications of human resource development strategies in improving the performance of educators at Shafta Islamic High School Surabaya?This study aims to determine the implementation and implications of human resource development strategies in improving the performance of educators at SMA Islam Shafta Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach in which the researcher acts as the key instrument. Sampling of data sources was carried out purposively and snowball. This study aims to analyze human resource development management strategies in improving the performance of educators at Shafta Islamic High School Surabaya. Data collection is a systematic and standardized process to obtain the necessary information. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are; 1.The human resource development strategy carried out by Shafta Islamic High School Surabaya in improving the performance of educator human resources is to create programs designed in strategic planning, approach the entire academic community, and directly supervise school institution programs. The program includes workshops, seminars, learning media development and competency development, 2. The implications of the human resource development strategy at Shafta Islamic High School Surabaya from the program implemented there are several things that have improved from a professional and pedagogic standpoint of educators.

Abstract

This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing literature study methods and data collection techniques based on literature studies. The focus is on multicultural education, a theoretical framework that acknowledges and respects diversity in culture, language, religion, and backgrounds. Despite this, many educational settings still struggle to fully implement multicultural education. The core issue addressed in this study is the relationship between multicultural education and tolerance. The goal of multicultural education is to increase awareness and understanding among students and communities about the significance of respecting differences and valuing cultural diversity in Indonesia. Findings from this research indicate that multicultural education significantly benefits the learning environment. Previous studies have shown that integrating multicultural education into the curriculum can promote tolerance and prevent discrimination stemming from diversity.

Abstract

This study examines the actualization of character education based on Islamic Education (PAI) and moral values within the 2013 Curriculum at SMP A. Wahid Hasyim. The focus of the research includes the variety of character education, the techniques of actualization, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that values such as spirituality, honesty, and responsibility are integrated through the curriculum, classroom teaching, and new subjects. Supporting factors include the school environment and the adiwiyata program, while obstacles arise from collective student issues and a lack of parental involvement. Efforts to overcome these obstacles include the implementation of punishments, guidance, and teacher motivation.

Abstract

Education is a process of training and teaching, especially for children and youth, both at school and on campus. With the aim of providing knowledge and developing skills possessed by students. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary education is defined as the process of changing attitudes and behavior of a person or group, in maturing humans through teaching and training. The aim of the study was to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum at MA Amanatul Ummah and to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum in motivating students to study Islamic religious education at MA Amanatul Ummah. Qualitative methods will be used in this study. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, which aims to describe and analyze events, activities and events both individually and in groups. The research results of the Superior MA Amanatul Ummah 03 have succeeded in implementing an independent curriculum with 4 aspects, namely competence, innovation, creativity and work ethic even though in its implementation there are total obstacles such as the lack of using technology learning media such as cellphones and laptops because the Superior MA Amanatul Ummah is a pesantren-based school.
