Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain: (1) the value of character education (moral) in the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, (2) the social values contained in the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, and (3) the use of character education values and social values in the novel Arok Dedes as the development of historical story teaching materials for high school students. The data source in this study is the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach. Sources of data used are novel documents of Arok Dedes and informants. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using document analysis techniques and interviews. The data validity was done by theory triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research is content analysis. The results of this study are (1) there are character education values (moral), including ing ngarso sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani, honesty, justice, tolerance, wisdom, self-discipline, cooperation, courage, and democracy; (2) social values, including the values of love, devotion, help, kinship, loyalty and care; and (3) novel Arok Dedes deserves to be used as teaching material for class XII SMA because it contains character education values. The most dominant character education value is justice, and the dominant social value is kinship.

Abstract

The problem of this research is what are Ridwan Remin's speech acts in the June 2017 edition of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia, Kompas TV. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe Ridwan Remin's speech acts in his appearance in Stand Up Comedy which specializes in locus speech acts, illocution and perlocution. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source and the object of the research were the videos of Ridwan Remin's Stand Up Comedy performance at the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia season 7, Kompas TV June 2017 edition, consisting of 5 videos. Data analysis techniques are using documentation techniques. The analysis results obtained are in the form of 20 sentences of speech action locus, 10 sentences of speech acts of illocution, and 3 sentences of speech acts of perlocution. In speech, of course, speech acts are needed so that the meaning in the speech can be conveyed to the speech partner so that it can cause a reaction or reciprocal relationship for the speaker.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbandingan verba dan nomina hasil proses afiksasi dalam Bahasa Jawa Ngoko (BJ) yang digunakan di daerah Madiun dan Bahasa Indonesia (BI). Dalam analisis perbandingan tersebut digunakan metode analisis kontrastif untuk membandingkan kedua bahasa tersebut. Kridalaksana (2001: 13) menegaskan bahwa analisis kontrastif adalah metode sinkronis dalam menganalisis bahasa untuk menunjukkan persamaan dan perbedaan antara dua bahasa atau dialek untuk mencari pokok yang dapat digunakan untuk masalah sederhana, seperti dalam pengajaran dan penerjemahan bahasa. Analisis data difokuskan pada persamaan dan perbedaan kedua bahasa tersebut. Persamaan bahasa ditemukan pada pembentukan kata kompleks dengan menggunakan afiks. Misalnya kata nakoni (BJ) berimbuhan n-i pada kata takon sejajar dengan pembentukan kata tanya (BI) yang diberi imbuhan me-i menjadi menanyai. Perbedaan penggunaan bahasa Jawa dan bahasa Indonesia, antara lain terjadi pada nomina yang terbentuk dari proses afiksasi pa- yang dalam penerjemahannya membutuhkan kata keterangan berupa frase atau kata yang kompleks karena tidak ada paralelisme dalam Bahasa Indonesia, contohnya pakethik artinya ‘orang yang mengambil kuda’. Contoh lain adalah verba yang dibentuk dengan menambahkan prefiks ke- dalam bahasa Jawa yang memiliki alomorf /k/ atau /kek/. Kedua alomorf terjadi jika prefiks ke- bertemu kata dengan fonem vokal, misalnya ke+antem ‘pukul’ menjadi keantem yang dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah terpukul.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of euphemism and dysphemism in the Solopos newspaper headlines as Indonesian teaching material in junior high schools. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with content analysis method. The data source used was the headline of the December 2019 edition of the Solopos newspaper, which contained expressions of euphemism and dysphemism. The data analysis technique used is the flow analysis model. Data validity test used is theory triangulation, data source triangulation, and informant review. Data collection techniques used were document analysis and in-depth interviews. informants in this study were Indonesian Language teachers and junior high school students. The results of this study indicate that the use of the main news rubric in the Solopos newspaper can be used as teaching material for writing news texts using one of the two stay two stray learning models.

Abstract

Adanya pandemi covid-19 sejak akhir tahun 2019 berpengaruh terhadap proses pembelajaran, yaitu tidak memungkinkan diadakannya pembelajaran dengan sistem tatap muka di kelas. Sesuai kebijakan pemerintah, pembelajaran formal di sekolah harus dilaksanakan secara daring dan salah satu medianya adalah aplikasi google classroom. Wahana tersebut merupakan hal baru bagi siswa sehingga memungkinkan berbagai hambatan dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi google classroom sebagai pengembangan kelas virtual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melalui observasi langsung di SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi google classroom dalam pembelajaran sudah efektif. Aplikasi dapat dioperasikan guru dan siswa. Meskipun demikian, siswa masih membutuhkan bimbingan guru secara langsung atau tatap muka selain pembelajaran daring melalui google classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe short stories published in Indonesian textbooks for high school. (2) Describe the content of character education in short stories in Indonesian textbooks for high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data in this study are words, sentences and paragraphs in short stories in Indonesian textbooks for high school. Data sources in this study are Indonesian language textbooks for high schools which are still used in high school, both based on the 2006 curriculum and based on the 2013 curriculum. Data collection techniques used in this study are intensive reading and recording techniques. Data analysis techniques with heuristic and hermeunitic techniques. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The study found 18 lessons in Indonesian language studies, 3 books that did not include a pen, and 15 books included a pen. In 15 lessons found 27 short stories. (2) Short stories in sufficient learning have the potential for 12 educational values of religious character, responsibility, social scrutiny, love, honesty, hard work, tolerance, nationalism, water love, friendship, democracy, and curiosity. The most frequently occurring educational values of character are religious, responsibility, social scrutiny, and love.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berpijak adanya permasalahan dalam pembelajaran fabel khususnya seni peran. Penelitian ini mengujicobakan model pembelajaran VAK (Visual, Auditorial, Kinestetik) yang melibatkan tiga unsur gaya dalam pembelajarannya, yaitu penglihatan, pendengaran, dan gerakan. Penerapan model VAK ini dibantu dengan menggunakan media film animasi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan bermain peran cerita fabel antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model VAK melalui film animasi dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 32 peserta didik kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 peserta didik kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 48, sedangkan kelas kontrol 47. Rata-rata posttestkelas eksperimen adalah 85, sedangkan kelas kontrol 55. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan memerankan tokoh fabel antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model VAK melalui film animasi. Dengan demikian, model VAK melalui film animasi efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran memerankan fabel.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading and critical thinking skills of high school students through the Stratta method. Stratta method is derived from the writing of Leslei Stratta in his book Pattems of Language so it is called the Stratta method. In this method of teaching literature there are three stages that must be done, namely the exploration phase, the interpretation phase and the recreation stage. The research method used in this research is research and development (research and development / R & D). Data collection in this study was conducted by examining the current state of teaching and learning of high school students today. This study produced several scenarios to improve the reading and critical thinking skills of high school students through the Stratta method. Improved reading skills and critical thinking in students can be developed and produce a work both literary or non-literary. In each learning there are several scenarios that can be applied during the teaching and learning process. The exploration stage in the study of literature there are 5 scenarios and in non-literary learning there are 6 scenarios. At the interpretation and recreation stages there are 4 scenarios in literary and non-literary learning.

Abstract

Sering dijumpai perubahan pengucapan fonem-fonem bahasa Indonesia oleh orang-orang asing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengucapan fonem pada pasangan kata yang memuat pasangan minimal fonem dan teks berbahasa Indonesia oleh mahasiswa asal Filipina. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kontrastif. Data yang digunakan adalah korpus pengucapan pasangan kata dan pembacaan teks pendek dalam bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah teknik simak libat cakap (SLC). Pada penelitian ini, analisis data difokuskan pada klasifikasi identitas fonem berdasarkan bagian-bagian alat bicara yang menghasilkannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan pengucapan fonem konsonan /r/ /s/ /n/ /g/ dan /k/ diucapkan dengan tekanan nada yang kuat, perubahan pengucapan vokal /o/ yang juga diucapkan secara kuat pada posisi yang seharusnya diucapkan lemah, serta vokal /e/ tidak dibaca sebagai /e/ melainkan dengan /ɛ/. Selain itu, ditemukan adanya fenomena penambahan fonem serta metatesis gabungan fonem dalam satu kata.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the revised edition of the revised edition of the Indonesian Advanced Bahasa Indonesia (MARBI) textbook. The assessment of the feasibility of a textbook is based on BSNP standards by analyzing four feasibility including content feasibility, linguistic feasibility, presentation feasibility, and graphic feasibility. This research is included in descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the opinion of the Indonesian language teacher who has used the textbook and the revised edition of the MARBI textbook for grade VII. The data in this study are textual units and non-textual units. Data collection techniques with document analysis, interviews, and fry charts. The data collection instruments used were assessment sheets based on the BSNP, interview guidelines, and fry charts. The validity of the data in this study was obtained from the triangulation of data sources, triangulation of theories, and triangulation of data collection methods. Data analysis was performed interactively with data reduction procedures, data presentation, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of the feasibility analysis of the MARBI textbook were the content / material feasibility with a value of 76.62%; 2) linguistic feasibility with a value of 82.85%; 3) the feasibility of serving with a value of 83.33%; and 4) the feasibility of the graphics with a value of 82.61%. This feasibility still needs guidance from educators.
